I would say perfect. I very enjoy the one year life in vita. I love the plants here. If you like nature, definitely you should choose vita!!! Four seasons here are beautiful. Furthermore, the staffs are very nice and friendly, and, tell you a secret (Vita's coffee machine is my favorite).

My Room was cleaned today by Amy, I am so so grateful. There is nothing better then a long day at uni and coming back to a clean room. She even folded my PJ’s and placed them at the bottom of my bed; how kind, also my bed was made !!!! My room looks so so spotless, and all of my bathroom things have been organised nicely. It's a great experience living here, I love the vita in York! The facilities are great, there's a gym and lots of study and activity rooms, whether you want to learn to play sport or just laze around on the lawn! There's regular activities and little thoughtful gifts for the residents on holidays too! And best of all, the staff are so nice! The staff, Vanen, is a friend of mine and he always greets me and my friends warmly, he works very hard, has a great attitude and is very patient in trying to help you with any problems you may have! It makes you feel very secure! Living here, you never feel alone even when you are far from home! I love vita in York!

Besides, Sophie has a long red hair and sweet voice, and Kirsty' s smile is so beautiful! they are really charming! I have to say thank you for doing these for us, it' s really helpful! In addition, I would say I' ve been living Vita for five months. Each day' s life is pretty cozy during these time. I reckon that this is mainly because of every members of staffs efforts so that we can enjoy the best comfort possible in Vita. I' m pretty appreciate everyone of vita' s staff! In the end, the Chinese New year will coming, I saw loads of delicate Chinese New Year decorations around Vita, which is used to make me feel back my hometown! I' m deeply touched! As soon as I left here, I couldn't wait to write a review, and I don't know if this review can be seen by everyone. After all, York vita hasn't had a bad review for four years. I don't know why, but it's true on Google Maps. I don't know if there is any way. Is it really good enough?What I want to say most is that this is the best-looking of all vita student apartments in the UK. It was converted from a monastery, not a one-building building like other student apartments, but a feeling similar to a community.You can feel the landscape here in the community, and it's really beautiful. Most of the staff here, I mean those who sit at the front desk or often meet in apartments, are very friendly and willing to help us. Some activities are often organized here to help residents make friends. Having said what I think is good, I want to talk about the bad part. This is also the reason why it may be deleted, because I have to strongly suggest to avoid the manager here. She will always find reasons to shirk her responsibility and try to kidnap the residents' complaints through Moral Mountain. Quite simply, she often tells me that there are more than 600 households here, and I have made simple statistics. No more than 200 residents come to have breakfast from 7.15 to 8.30 every day, which means that at least 2/3 of the residents don't have breakfast.But each of us will be warned that we can only take one praiseworthy or baked bread. Even if there are two kinds of food on the table, we can only take one, and there is no sign to tell us that we will only be reprimanded on a sunny morning, which will ruin your mood. The manager here will tell you that you need to respect them, and if you take one more bread, others will have nothing to eat. However, according to my statistics, if you prepare everyone's portion, a lot of bread will be wasted every day, which is in the following. Secondly, the indoor cleaning service. I once reported that the cleaner came to my room and threw my pillow on the wet floor, and my dirty laundry basket on the bed.I told the manager, and she told me they would take care of it. However, the next day I received a smoking warning because someone smelled smoke in the room for no reason. However, when I reported someone throwing cigarette butts outside my window, they didn't take it seriously.However, the improvement of the cleaners is that I have to stand outside the door when they enter the house to clean, and I can't look at the details of their cleaning. Although I can't know anything, the unpleasant smell of entering the room tells me everything. The last share, this is not all but I only share this. They made a policy. If someone didn't throw the garbage into the dustbin, but they didn't trace who lost it, everyone in this building would be fined. I was shocked by this policy. Do we need to pay for other people's problems? However, when they didn't clean the garbage room for a long time, her reason became that there was a lot of garbage to be cleaned, and they needed to pay more garbage cleaning fees to York Municipal Government, as if they shouldn't have paid, just because we lost too much garbage. All in all, she won't make any mistakes. If she does, it's that we are not considerate enough for her, we don't respect others, we are a troublesome resident, and as a manager, she doesn't deserve to manage other kind employees at all. ____Replenish_____ Thank you very much for not deleting this comment and giving me a reply with many words! But obviously, this doesn't solve the practical problem.No one should be reprimanded for taking two cookies without being prompted to take only one cookie.The garbage disposal problem is not the one you understand, but a policy that your manager made. The housekeeping service problem and the framed indoor smoking problem haven't been answered, so I didn't see the so-called five-star service, which is not vita's service. Please refer to the management team of vita in Leeds.I will report it to Shanghai headquarters.

I’ve been a resident at Vita for nearly a year now and it has been a mostly positive experience. While the company definitely has its faults, their staff is par excellence. The entire team at York is absolutely lovely, they are welcoming, kind and readily available. I have lived on campus accommodation and I have never felt more seen and heard than I have since living in Vita. Each member of staff has something so unique about them, and yet they all fit in with each other seamlessly. I know that if I need a chat or if I’m feeling a bit low and Bronwyn is around, then all I have to do is find her and the blues are away! I know that if I have an issue on site, Jess and Chelsea will sort it for me before the week is out! The staff at Vita York make the experience of living there such a positive one. I have never felt intimidated or shoved aside by any member of staff. They are always ready to help you or to just talk to you! It has truly been a lovely experience!

All of these, due to looking for a parcel that is a significant items for me, which I had believed it was lost! Luckily, I finally found my package in letter box with Morgan help! I really appreciate him.(Bro, Thanks a lot) Secondly, In my opinion, Morgan is a excellent man! he always does things well. His personal positive working attitude is one of the crucial factor impating Vita' s brand. On the one hand, Morgan is a patient staff, he always calmly and patiently listening what you are saying, although sometimes My express is not clear:(. On the other hand, he is a responsibility and earnest staff. You know he is pretty work hard when he walks quickly. Furthermore, I think that he is a pretty cool with goatee, like mini James Harden who is NBA basketball player. In a word, Vita student is the best student apartment in my heart. Every employee is excellent, like Morgan! I fell comfortable and happiness! I love Vita Student York!

Lovely place to live, facilities are good, lovely continental breakfast in the morning, lots of events happen here and have high number of people attending. The only downside is the cost to live here but security is 24/7 and public areas are excellent. Just be aware that laundry can take some time. Nice to be able to get your room cleaned every so often as well. Staff are exceptional and that what makes this place. Always friendly and always helpful in particular Jamie and Katie N who had to deal with another student being verbally aggressive and shouting and they were very professional about it and remained calmed throughout. Simon as well always attentive and helpful. Anthony is always helpful as well when something goes wrong and always explains what caused it to go wrong and what he did to fix it. Darren as well always friendly and helpful and excellent customer service . Jordan the grounds man always says hello and always friendly no matter what the weather is like. Katie L is always friendly and helpful and happy to assist. Chelsea and Jess who are the current managers are always welcoming and always say hello and make sure you keep looking after the staff as they do a brilliant job. Alana as well always making sure these events run smoothly and always is a friendly face to say hello to. JP is always up for laugh and helpful when you need him to be. Shame I can only give this 5/5 stars for the staff should be 10/10 stars.

I have officially been at Vita Student York for a month and so far my experience has been amazing. Upon arrival, the staff was very welcoming and kind and that was just what I needed after a 12 hour flight! I arrived from Canada and began my 14 day quarantine and the staff were great bringing up my breakfast every morning, washing my clothe and taking down my garbage. Unfortunately my groceries were supposed to be delivered but failed to come, but nonetheless, the Vita Staff were able to supply me with food. Overall, this is just one of the many gesture the staff has done for me to make my stay over the top. I would highly recommend staying at Vita Student!

The signal light at my door always red and I can't enter my door when i used my key. I try to send the email to reception very late time. When I think this matter will be resolved after a long time, Morgan and Kirsty come to replace the battery immediately! This surprised me. The site is incredibly well maintained, and during covid they've still managed to put on weekly, amazing events that really make lockdown a positive experience. I've been at Vita York since the start of term, and my experience has been top-notch. The facilities (communal area, movie rooms, gym, laundry room etc.) are all beautiful and well-kept. One of the key USPs for Vita, however, is the study spaces. There must be over 20 individual study rooms and they have 2 large study spaces, which I use regularly. Another key point to add is how amazing the staff are. Jess and Chelsea could not be more helpful and kind, on a day to day basis. Without that, I wouldn't be seriously considering a second year re-booking.

Could not recommend Vita Student York enough, I've lived here with my boyfriend for around 3 months now and it has far exceeded our expectations. We were not sure what to expect with the lockdown and current restrictions, but it has honestly been amazing. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you're having a good time whilst staying safe during these unprecedented times. Every week we have new activities we can do in our own flats and accommodation, such as cooking kits, skin care kits and tutorials, and arts and crafts. This has meant our lockdown experience has been really enjoyable and has taken our minds off the current situation. Just like to say a massive thank you to the Vita team... and to anyone thinking of living at Vita Student York, you really won't regret it, it is awesome!

Visited my friend here a couple weeks ago. Have to say I was extremely impressed from walking in. Huge site and almost doesn't feel like part of York. A great place for a student to stay. My friends who do stay here have only great things to say. Friendly, helpful staff. You get more or less anything you could ever need and more here, housekeeping included, weekly events which are all free! Who doesn't love free food? The rooms are unreal, not like my student house and the facilities to use are brand new and a great place for us to hang out. Wish I had a bigger budget and I would be booking here for sure! My Vita student experience so far has been mostly good. It has been ideal for me because Vita has been the only place that has offered me a short term contract. The location is good for walking into town, the train station and bus routes but, I would say that it is quite a walk to York St John University. The rooms come fully equipped with modern appliances however, I have found that they can be quite lonely at times. The gym has everything you need; including free personal training sessions on a Monday. Booking the private social rooms can be quite difficult at times due to popular demand however, they are great for when you have friends visiting. The wifi connection is mostly good however, the connection for the television can be quite unreliable of an evening. The study rooms are good, especially when you have lots of work to do. The free breakfast is good however, the times they are served are quite limited and there is not much variety. Most staff are really friendly and are always on hand to help with any problems; especially Sophie and the Manager Guv. They always welcome you with a smile every time you enter the building. The events that Vita holds are always well organised and allow you to meet other fellow residents and the hub acts as a great social space equipped with air hockey, table tennis and pool. I have also met and made a friend for life at Vita. The weekly cleaning service could be improved but, overall the experience has been a good one and I would say that it is definitely worth the money. I will miss it when I move out in a few weeks!

The private rooms are amazing, especially the cinema room, wow! Surround sound is incredible. Wish they had a vita where I went to uni. Make sure you have downloaded the app they have as that is how they keep you up to date from everything to events to laundry facilities. Loads of asian students staying at this site.

I was previously forced by a member of a staff to give 5 stars without any critical review. I’m reviewing it today. Vita is in general a nice place and to me, as a Caucasian male, offered the best services last year as I found things very well in my favour, however that was not the case for many of my friends. They repeatedly experienced worse treatment from certain members of the staff and overcharging, which was only the case for me when I was trying to rent the room and for no reason had to pay £100. I had also a big issue with my friend coming over during an exam period and struggling to park his bike. As the staff restricted bikes of non-residents in the object and with no other bike shed for visitors in a close range. Also timers on heaters are horrible, as my room was always cold during winter times. The breakfast room wasn’t really as a sales person advertised it to me. The times for breakfast where very limited and soon for some people and the line for breakfast quite long and food limited. So sometimes you would end up not getting what you wanted because some person in front of you took three croissants and four chocolate rolls for a snack. The food was also limited to three types of pastry, sandwich bread, some fruit and yogurts, cereals which may sound like enough, but not when the average rent for a room is over £200ppw. On the other hand, events at Vita are amazing. Free fantastic food and drinks. No complains here. Also, as a smoker I struggled during times, because the object doesn’t have any smoking sheds, so when a rain comes (which is honestly quite often in the UK), you struggle. So Vita was a great experience, but I was forced to leave as the prices significantly increased.

This place has it all: stunning surroundings, as well as very attentive/helpful staff, and great facilities (the gym and private cinema are a huge plus). Also be sure to check out the Gatehouse Coffee shop if you're caffeine fiend like myself, its only a short walk away. It's early days yet but I have been pleasantly impressed with what I've experienced so far.

Oh my god! This place is amazing! It's like i've walked into a five star hotel. The staff are smiling and very friendly. They will help you with anything that you would like. And management are so nice! They help you out all the time. There are so many students and the way they handle everything is so professional! Maintenance is great as things get fixed as soon as they can and they will always explain what has happened to you. Housekeeping once a week is a perk! The fact that I get my room hoovered, mopped and dusted every week is such a huge help! The facilities are amazing! You have free bike rental, private room hire, gym and free grab and go breakfast Monday through to Friday! The events that are held here are awesome! Their Vita Las Vegas event was a blast! This is much more than a student accomodation. This is a luxury home that all students need to be applying for! I love it here!

It's a really secure area as it is built inside a secluded zone, and to enter you need your friends to come pick you up from the reception.
