A. D.Visiting the Shetlands for the first time on holiday, it didn’t bode well when our two dogs became ill not long after disembarking the ferry. Over the next three days, three visits to the vets were needed and we can’t praise the staff highly enough. Not only did they appear to drop everything to accommodate us at such short notice but they made every effort to ensure they had the full medical history of each of the dogs, contacting various veterinary practices. The care, compassion and professionalism demonstrated by all members of staff cannot be praised highly enough. The care afforded to our two dogs ensured that what could so easily have been a nightmarish holiday actually demonstrated what a warm and welcoming place the Shetland Isles are - if they took paying guests, we’d be booking again for next year!!
