We cannot recommend this wonderful practise enough. We are down for a weeks holiday and our dog ripped his claw on a metal bridge. The vet saw us at short notice,was very understanding and also explained everything to us. All the staff there were absolutely wonderful and it was a very very good price for the procedure. Wish I could give more than five stars, you all deserve it, bless you all at the practise. Highly recommended by us.

Whilst on holiday in Fishguard my little Jack Russell Tilly had a nasty fall and was struggling to walk. When I phoned the vets the receptionist was really concerned and said I could go there straight away although it was the weekend. The vet we saw was very reassuring and gave Tilly a thorough check. He was lovely throughout and the treatment he prescribed did the trick. He also said if I was worried at all during the week we were there I could take her back. Tilly has since made a full recovery and I would highly recommend this practice.

Wow! What an amazing group of caring angels! Our spaniel escaped whilst we were on holiday and when we found her she had been involved in a disagreement with a horse. We rushed her to this vets and she was immediately seen, x rayed and treated. Thankfully she is on the mend but we will always be grateful for the team at Fishguard Vets. They brought her out to the car, helped us get her in and even called us the following day to check on her. To top it all they didn't overcharge us. Definitely recommend this Vets. Thank you

After registering online, first time visit with my 11 week puppy went very well. Really friendly staff and vaccine administered with care. Advice on feeding and diet provided. Picked up the first de worming/flea tablet to administer at home by just adding to kibble feed. Ample parking and they also sell doggy treats and feeding bowls. Overall a great place for doggy healthcare.

Friendly staff. Quick on the phone. Quick service. Quick and effective process. My dog injured herself in the garden got an appointment within 20 minutes and seen as soon as I arrived with sedation, xray and check over with tablets so a crazy quick turn around within a hour! Receptionist was friendly. Vet was kind and reassuring. Vets itself is tidy and clean. Toilets there. Wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Plenty of parking. Would highly recommend 😊

Friendly, efficient and less expensive for an emergency appointment whilst on holiday than a regular appointment would be at our vets. The vet seemed to open the practice on a Sunday evening to deal with an emergency with our dog and one other person who had brought a cat in. There were no vet nurses to hand so it was a bit more hands on than normal but the vet showed us what to do. I would just note this was out of season.

Unbelievably helpful equine vets who (even on a Saturday) were cheery, professional and swift in a call out. They take time to listen. Explain exactly what they'll do, what the options are for your pet and want to see you back to check the treatment is working or has worked. Good communication, open 2 way dialogue and the turn-up-to-be-seen and helpful, courteous and encouraging front of house staff make all the difference.

We were on holiday in Fishguard and decided to spend a day on Skomer, so needed to put our three dogs intp doggie day care. However, they needed a kennel cough vaccination which we managed to arrange easily with the Fishguard Veterinary Practice for the same day of phoning. They operate an afternoon open clinic. We arrived, registered our dogs quickly and easily and then waited to be seen. Although there were other pets we were seen relatively quickly by a lovely vet.

Took my daughters dog for booster jab. You sign in and wait outside. If it's raining you can sit in your car. There is also a large covered area for those that have walked. The vet comes out and collects pet for treatment. Then returns pet to you outside. Well within COVID rules. Excellent.
