Very friendly staff have been great with my dog Drogon quickly getting to the route of his deafness im hopeful he will soon hear again!!! Yes the big boy can hear again thanks to the fantastic vets!!!! The vets r fantastic here im such a regular with having 3 dogs and also my daughters attend here also. We r always so pleased with how r pets r treated and also the girls on reception do a fantastic job. We wouldnt go anywhere else anything at all you will get an app right away. Just fabulous they all are!!!

Arrived in a panic today when my saluki developed breathing difficulties. Sadly she died but the vets and assistants were 1st class....Andrea was so lovely and made an awful situation bearable. Friendly, patient and professional staff look after your special "child" in the way you would wish. Even my moody cat was dealt with in a calm and understanding way. Prices are reasonable and certainly cheaper than some of the other larger vets in the area.

When I phoned Gortlands I was told to phone when I arrive, I was told a vet would be out shortly. Gino was taken into the hospital and shortly after about 15-20 minutes was brought out. Fantastic service and brilliant staff.

Brought in my hamster to have his nails clipped and eyes looked at, the vet was so patient handling such a small creature and made sure he had the correct medical cream, and showed me how to apply it. Was able to make my appointment on the day and they were very understanding when I had to call to say I'd be late due to a delay. Friendly staff, and good animal care. Only downside would be prices, but that is more than usual with vets, as most run high in regards to bills. But pets are worth it and I was glad I chose to go Gortlands.

Today I took our wee yorkie to get her nails cut as they had over grown due to the dog groomers closed. Bella is a nervous dog and the nurse came out and took her in, and very helpful. She came back out after a short while and sorted. A great we team of vets and nurses! Took very good care of her! A very understanding and caring team. Our we dog very comfortable tonight. I will be back, and we came all the way from Lisburn.

I travel 50 mile to these vets, as I have been taking my dog for 7 years. We then took our other dog for just over a year. The younger dog is only one when he became ill, they were very quick to see him and start treatment. Your pets are your world and you want them to be in the right place and this is a place I trust and well worth the travel.

Lovely, caring vets. My cat is a traumatised rescue kitty and taking her anywhere is very stressful, as she is extremely distrustful of people. The vets here are kind and patient, best case scenario for a frightened animal.

Sadly needed to have my beloved Duke put to sleep today. I cannot thank the staff at Gortland enough for the gentle and dignified way his passing was handled. Also the compassion shown to me and my 3 sons who were with him at the end. Even though it was the end of the working day we were able to spend as much time afterwards with him as we needed to and this made a very painful experience so much easier for us all. Many thanks to all the staff there from the receptionists to the vets themselves.
