The staff at Vets Now Belfast were amazing at a time where we last our beloved cat- wee lily . They expressed such genuine sympathy and were so respectful towards us as were going through such a difficult time. We opted to have wee lily cremated and they were extremely helpful and it was done with such dignity for our wee lily. When we picked up the ashes just two weeks later the vet helped us put the ashes into an urn we had chosen after recognising that we were going to find that part difficult! Professional, gentle and extremely caring, thank you so much.

Cant thank the staff enough at Vets Now for looking after my girl Jinx. I was beyond stressed with her being unwell and having to been seen by the emergency team! The staff were so reassuring and professional which helped me. She is back to her old self now! Thank you so much again.

We had use vet now for our cat when she was attacked by a dog as it was out of hours. We were told of the costs upfront and she was in the best care available. my only criticism would be that the prices are designed for people with pet insurance and is unfriendly for people without.

I found this vets practice very professional and caring. They dealt with my pets care very sympathetically. As I know pet care doesn't come cheap but in the circumstances as in my oppinion it was an emergency they did not dig the arm in as I have found in the past with other practices.I would highly recommend this out of hours practice in the first instance at Hillsborough.Thank you for everything Ernie Cooke Banbridge.

Great service by the vets themselves after my dog was knocked down. I am disappointed with their insurance services - I paid £25 for them to deal with my claim but only received updates from them after I kept contacting them and am still awaiting my refund.

Sincere thanks to all the staff at Vets Now that attended to my young Pug puppy who had fallen down some stairs. The Vet and nurses examined and assessed him and thankfully there was no fracture. It was a very worrying time but all the staff were so good and attentive and were able to reassure us that he would be alright. Very efficient service by caring staff, which is exactly what you need with an emergency vet. I was kept aware of my pets condition, potential treatments and full cost so that I could agree to anything before it was carried out. I hope to never have to use them again, but it's so reassuring to know that my pet is in great hands if an emergency ever occurs again.

Very efficient. Saw him very quickly even though it was 3.30am My dog is very anxious. They kept him calm and checked him over thoroughly. He needed an injection and we were back home within 30 minutes. No fault with the vets whatsoever

After talking to the vet for only 10mins i knew my dog was in good hands with her looking after her. She also made it clear that i could phone for an undate as often as i needed to which was something i needed to hear plus she always made time to give me an updated when i did phone. Fantastic bunch of veterinarians who have helped me twice with my Boston Rocky, once when he lost an eye and again 2 weeks ago, I didn't know who to turn too so I rang vets now based on my experience with them for his eye.(it was a Sunday morning) We woke to find Rocky had died in his sleep they told me to bring him up once we gathered ourselves and they would take him. Once we arrived they advised us on the best option for us. We now have Rockys ashes home. Thank you again for all your help and support in our difficult time.

Treatment and care was first class. Regular updates helped us. Sadly our boy did not make it. The vets and staff done everything they could for him. FYI; Their Out of Hours fee is £232 before the dog is even seen, then whatever treatment is added on. edited: I recieved a response from them explaining/justifying high price but i was in no way complaining, hence my 5 star rating?! i was simply including info i myself would have found useful prior to my visit.

i had to bring my dog Bella in as she had 3 seizures in under 24 hours , the staff were friendly and very helpful and reassuring as i was quite upset , they kept my dog in overnight and they even sent me a txt message during the night to let me know she was sleeping and content , they also were very patient with my numerous phone calls . great service , thankyou

My dog Beauty had been vomiting and just not herself lifeless I was extremely concerned! Contacted Vets Now as out of hours. Beauty was seen by Natasha one of the vets who checked her bloods, scan etc and was eventually allowed to come back home! My wee dog was cared for by the amazing and dedicated staff here for two nights. They went above and beyond to help and reassure you they would take great care in the dogs well being. I would highly recommend to family and friends. They keep you updated every step of the way

I used this vet for an emergency appointment and the vet provided a good service and they were knowledgeable and helpful. However, they give low estimates and the final bill I got was 20% higher than the estimate I was given. It appears they give a low estimate to get you to agree on the treatment then ramp the price up once it comes time to pay, knowing people will have to pay because the treatment has been done. For some reason anti-biotics are more expensive from the out of hours service? Are the anti-biotics working double time?

It’s a relief for pet owners to know there is a fantastic out of hours service available at Earlswood on the Belmont Road. We have used it twice for our pet when she needed emergency care. On both occasions she received fantastic care. Thank you.

Had to go down for emergency vets on a Sunday which was a starting fee of £150. Have to say the vet that was on was excellent, very informative and didn’t take the pee when it came to what they were doing to the dog. She had sliced her ear, the bandaged, glued and sorted it out for the dog. Was brilliant service and receptionist & vet where absolutely lovely couldn’t fault them.

Very quick service thank you, it was around 7pm when I took my cat over. She came in the house and was not herself, breathing fast and panting.I am not sure however if it was worth six times what my vet would charge the next day. I could have waited until the next day but any humane person would have wanted the cat to get help as soon as possible to relieve her distress etc. I had no other option therefore. Surely there must be some middle ground here? In summary. Service and treatment were very good, cost was crippling.

We've had to take our dog Tizzy to Vets Now out of hours a couple of times now due to epileptic seizures. We found all the staff extremely welcoming and caring. They discussed options with us and kept us informed of Tizzy's progress as she had to stay overnight. I would definitely recommend. We hope we don't have to use the service again but if we do it's comforting to know Tizzy will be looked after.

Absolutely brilliant vets, they seem my dog as an emergency appointment as he was vomiting and bleeding. They gave him some injections and he was as good as new in 2 days. Vet was excellent in her examination and the nurses were really friendly. They put are minds at rest .

So impressed by the vet I saw when I had to rush my cat over due to breathing difficulties. She saw him almost straight away, explained everything so clearly to me and was excellent with my cat. I took my dog to Vets Now on Friday night having been refers by my Vet. She was very sick. She was looked after extremely well. Very regularly monitored. Given medical attention when required. I was able to phone at anytime during the night for updates. Everything they were going to do was explained . I was allowed to take her home in the morning. I got detailed description of what had happened during the night and given advice going forward.

I had been having trouble getting my dogs foods because of brexit and 3 of them are on special food because of various illnesses. I googled for ages and tried other dog food suppliers but to no avail. I was at my vets one day and saw petvets NI advertised so when I got home I googled their name and they had all the foods I needed so I ordered them and they were all in stock. Had to take my wee cat Buzz in for emergency treatment when it became clear to us that his urinary tract was blocked. They did what they had to do and had him ready to be taken the next morning to his regular vet. The staff were very clear about the situation and proved very helpful when it came to insurance and advice etc. Our regular vet even commented on how good a job they had done 😺

We can't rate Vets Now high enough. They saved our dog's life. We had to call them at 2o'clock in the morning as our dog was bleeding profusely. The vet was able to stop the bleeding something our usual vet was unable to do. She also followed up on Archie later that morning. We are very grateful for their care.

From the moment I rang Earlswood Veterinary Hospital, their service couldn’t have been more professional or caring. All COVID related rules were followed. Our pup was taken and looked at, and we were updated each step of the way. Everything was explained simply and clearly, and we were called at home after our pup’s surgery with a progress report. We can’t thank them enough for their professional and sympathetic manner. It is clear to me that for these people, their job is MORE than a job, it is a calling. My dog got attacked by bigger dog and took her straight down. Was seen very quickly and she got treatment as fast as possible. The vet even give me a small bottle of surgical cleaner to keepthe wounds clean. Very nice vet and reception staff. Minnie is well on mend due to their care.

I've had to use vets now Belfast twice. On the first occasion they saved my cats life as he had a urinary blockage which was really bad. On the second occasion I thought that the urinary blockage was returning so I had to use vets now again. This is an expensive place to get a sick animal treated. But, in an emergency when your beloved animal is in distress you just have to do what's best for them. Vets now saved my cats life and I will be grateful. But a word of advice insure your animal , because you never know when things are going to happen.

What were heartbreaking circumstances, were made a little easily by the attentiveness & empathy of the vet who had to perform the euthanasia of my wee dog of 12 years. During difficult situations (covid19) the protocols in place for safety were to the letter also.

The staff at the vets where unbelievable so friendly an spoke to me an my brother about what they needed to do to help are dog... price in total for are dog was £327... the price didnt mean nothing longs as are dog was save an could walk back out alive.... we love are dog so much that we would do anything to keep hm are us plus he is only 9 months old but very big.... I took my dog Murphy there after he ate a grape, the vets got him in that night. They were amazing, they took great care of him, explained what was going on and let me know about the treatment options. I would highly recommend them if you need a vet in an emergency. (Murphy felt sorry for himself after his treatment, but was back to normal the next day)
