Registered here recently with our little 3 year old Dachshund cross "Dexter", as aware he needed a operation to remove a growing hernia. A common problem from birth shared by all breeds of dogs. We visited James and his assistant Caitlin who undertook a very thorough pre op examination of our little fellow. "Dexter" had his operation a week later, all went extremely well and discharged the same day, together with a lovely pet vest instead of the usual lamp shade to stop biting op area. During his op it was noted he had a few small skin tags that were also removed, futhermore whilst asleep they even trimmed all his nails ! Vets don't come cheap but we were pleasantly surprised by a reasonable bill upon completion. We've been back recently for a post op free check up, together with another free visit to discuss his future health plan and wellbeing etc. Honestly this lovely new vets together with all the staff we have met are truly wonderful and care about your pet. Located under rhe Morrisons complex the free parking is ideal, also noting if you're a pet owner in Solihull, Olton, or Sheldon, consider James Horner as "they're just round the corner".

Kate Tipton/ Milly cat James and all the receptionists are fantastic. James took time to listen to my cats history, did a small procedure and advised me on treatment. I am also happy we can park in a nearby supermarket free of charge. Very clean place and would thoroughly recommend this vet practice. Thank You.

There's only one word to describe James Horner Vets....OUTSTANDING !!! James and his team were absolutely incredible when Rosie needed an emergency c-section at very late notice on a Saturday! A huge thank you to James and Fiona for their patience and professionalism throughout. The level of service here is second to none, and testiment to being an independent practice. I will be taking all of my pets here in future, and would highly recommend to anyone!!

I cannot recommend James Horner enough! Teddy had his neutering surgery this week with a follow up appointment 2 days later to see how he was getting on. The vets and vet nurses are so thorough with their work, you can really see their duty of care for their patients! As well as being extremely friendly and understanding. I really am grateful for the team at James Horner, thank you all. You will not get this service anywhere else.

Took my bengal cat because he wasn't eating . The fantastic service we received has convinced me that this veterinary really does care for cats unlike like some others who have pursued the profit trend. Definitely will continue to take my cat there. Oh and it's only been an hour and his eating and being his normal self.

Took Rosie my ginger half Maine 6 year old cat to have shave the off patch of matted fur. The nurse was wonderful and Rosie did not complain. Purring all the time. Clean bright and airy practice. Brilliant car Park. Highly recommend.

We had to move from our previous vet as they wasn't helping my Dog. Took him here he had all the tests he needed ww found out what the problem was now he's a happy Dog. Highly recommend James he really listens to you and explains everything

From speaking to Vicki on reception and Charlie the nurse to James the vet, it was perfect. They all made us feel so welcome including our puppy. They were all so professional and made our puppy all healthy again. Can't thank or recommend you all enough, would not go anywhere else.

We registered with James Horner vets only recently, after our old vets retired (Damson Lane vets) of course we were a little hesitant, who wouldn't be, unfortunately our cat Misty was taken ill the same week we registered with James Horner vets, We got a appointment straight away, very helpful and friendly staff, James diagnosed the problem and started treatment, our cat needed surgery to remove a large bladder stone, we were kept informed all the way, surgery successful and aftercare outstanding, would recommend James Horner vets to anyone, plus we had consultations with Catalin the other vet, very professional / informative and friendly. Honestly cannot rate this vet high enough.I took my 16 year old cat there and the compassion,honesty and care that James showed was so heartfelt.I just wish he had of been around for all of my cats care.If I ever have another pet I will be certainly taking he/she here.Also, not to forget the lovely receptionists.The whole place just feels so warm from the moment you walk through the door.

I highly recommend this Practice. My Springer Spaniel was old and at the end of his days (15 years) I popped in for advice. The staff were superb and very sympathetic. On the day again the staff were very professional and understanding. My Dog (Monty) was looked after until the end.

An amazing veterinary practice with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Gizmo, my loveable pug, became poorly very quickly, I phoned James Horner Vets and got an appointment the same day. Within 2 days Gizmo was diagnosed with Diabetes and placed on insulin, he is doing so much better now thanks to the care and ongoing support from James Horner Vets.

What a totally amazing practice!!! James and his team of dedicated nurses and reception staff are second to none. Our nearly 8 month old Cockapoo Poppy loves popping by for a fuss when collecting her medication. Honestly, we adore the care, dedication and love this practice gives to our little girl. Every time we pop by we are greeted with so much enthusiasm by the fantastic staff here. Would absolutely highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you so, so much James and your team….we and Poppy love you ❤️
