They are always so caring and understanding. Really feel like they care. They make my visit with a really nervous dog easy. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They were also amazing when one of my cats wet her basket. They cleaned her up and the basket. Nothing is ever too much.

The receptionist in the vets was very nice and polite (unlike fivelands receptionist). I got registered and went to vets everyone was really nice. I have another appointment for my cat hope for the same good experience like last time. I do recommend to register and use this vets as Im happy with it.

Had to take my uncles dog here a few times. The vets have always been very informative and give out some very helpful and great advice. If you ring in with a worry, they'll at least try to see you next day and pass on the information to the vet. If the vet is worried then they'll call you in same day, matter what. They're very understanding when your dog decides that he doesn't their Christmas tree and wees up it. The only niggle I have is their prices. My dog goes to different vet with the same level of care and I don't pay near as much for jabs or consultions (could be down to my vets being a large brand).

Had a very sad visit to The Lodge this evening when my daughter had to have her cat put to sleep due to cancer. The staff were truly wonderful and very sympathetic.

Always friendly reception staff and great vets. I always ask for Monika when i need to see a vet for my cats. I trust her opinion and diagnosis. She is understanding and kind and available to answer questions and concerns. My cats have been patients of the lodge for more than 10 years.

Had my cat looked after here for 5 years now. Every time I've made an appointment, the wait time has been short. The vets have always been extremely friendly and lovely to my cat and myself. Shame that covid has meant you cant go in with your pet but the staff made me feel confident and reassured :) top notch care!

Kind & totally had our cats health first, had our little cat spayed & identi chipped last monday, due to covid they allowed us to take off her dressing post 2 day op & email the pic so the vet could see the wound to assess if it was healing ok, not the cheapest but you cant really put a price on your pets health so all good 👍

When here with a cat that to be spayed had lots of problems due to cats anatomy - they have had to refer her to specialist vet with a CT scanner. Awaiting referral - vet very nice and receptionist Louise is very pleasant and very very helpful - she went above and beyond to help bless her.

Vet very good but initially had issues re payment direct from insurers. Finally got it sorted but I got the impression this is not the norm for them. Make sure you have money available!

An excellent vets. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I have taken rabbits, a cat, and my new puppy there because I have complete trust in the treatment that they will get. Parking is limited, but usually I have had no problems when I've visited. I highly recommend this veterinary centre .

Having had to take my pooch twice this week, felt very unsure as I had not been out for 11 weeks, but the safety measures were excellent. You are called by phone to discuss your concerns with your cat or dog, you leave you dog or cat in the porch, clipped to a hook, nurse will come for it, and the same procedure for collection brilliant and payment is made over your phone

Absolutely lovely vets, considerate, give you the time of day and very friendly. I would recommend this vets to anyone who feels nervous about taking your pet to a vet. They made me feel at easy because of there confidence and manner. The quality of there work is wonderful. My kitten came back home with a very neat stitch, which I was happy about. I definitely will stay at this vets!

Got a nervous of vets large dog but all precautions were taken to ensure they didn't stress him out and came out to do the consultation out side. The reception is very covid secure as is the waiting area for individual animals & their owners.

Very caring in a time where things are different they were very caring and I know my cat was pts lying in the arms of the vet who was very gentle and kind. We took in a pregnant stray cat over lockdown and received great advise regarding the health and wellbeing of our cat and her kittens. Mommy cat now been spayed and chipped at the lodge and kittens had there first injections this week and will be spayed and neutered in the new year. Great service even with all the covid restrictions and very caring with your pets. Thankyou all at The Lodge!

Was referred to this vets for an ultrasound for my dog. Unfortunately the tumour was inoperable but the care for her was wonderful. The staff were so kind and compassionate. I especially liked the candle to inform people that others are having to say goodbye to their pets.

I have been bringing pets to this vet's practice for over 50 years when it was known as Hamilton's. I think that says a lot. They have always been so caring and done everything possible to look after my dogs right to their ends. At the moment I have one dog who is quite poorly and another who is giving problems. I have the utmost faith in them. They will do the best for my animals.

Took my sister to pick up her cat after neutering. Parking was poor. Lady on reception was rather rude about where I'd parked. She said it was staff only. It clearly stated on the space... 'Customer Parking' Not a good representation of the business!

Have known the staff here for 12 years and have taken my cats dog and rabbits.would not trust anybody else with my fur babies and as iam a licencee for my cattery I also take my clients pets here if they don't have a vet of their own. Always friendly and professional.

The staff at this place are absolutely wonderful and caring, i had to get my dog put to sleep on Thursday 25th October 2018 due to a tumor, she was cared for properly and all of our feelings were taken into consideration the staff kept asking if we needed another few minutes with our dog and were happy to oblige. We also recieved a card through the post yesterday with caring words and deepest sympathies. This place is honestly one of the better ones and will treat your animal with the respect it deserves no matter what they are doing e.g. Check ups, surgery etc.

When phoning to book Lola in for her yearly boost they outlined what would be in place due to current restrictions and as always knowing how Lola gets nervous around people and pets we were seen away from other customers at a very busy time and time was taken with the vet to discuss Lola issues making Lolas trip less stressful

We started looking for a family run vets after getting fed up of the "conveyor belt" chain vets, I'm SO glad we found the lodge!!! We rescued a dog and took her to see Catherine who spent almost 40minutes checking over our new pup and answering our (million) questions...long story short our new puppy had 7 babies 1 week later!! We called for an emergency appt on the day the puppies were born (a Saturday) as one was poorly, we saw a vet (I'm unsure of her name as I was very emotional) and cannot commend her enough on how amazingly awesome she was with us! She was kind, caring and honest. I cannot recommend this practice enough, I'm so glad we've finally found a place we know will take care of our dogs! Thank you so so much! You are ALL totally AWESOME!! Emma mcgrory 🌈

Brought a stray in with a burst abscess. Was told it will be £50 ontop but they did all the treatment within the rspca cover and offered the £5 neuter. The cat is now in rescue! Staff was lovely and very caring. Will definitely return and recommend

Since we move to Hodge hill nearly 11 years ago we been going to the lodge veterinary and our dog ozzy has had few operations and been very well looked after and they explain every think to you and always have time to chat with any worries you may have and if you need to book appointments they always get dates and time for when it's best for you and we feel ozzy is always in safe hands the lodge is a home from home very relaxed would definitely recommend to anyone to go with any pets you won't regret it if I could rate them I would give 100 / 100 always fantastic staff from cleaners to reception to the vets themselves kx
