The pet plan isn't terrible but you don't get much for the overall annual cost. The reception staff seem to be unsure about what they are doing and have previous made errors which suprise, suprise said I owed money. It's only due to the fact that I keep better records than they evidently do that I could prove they'd made a error. You can't sit down in the waiting room (signs saying you can't sit) which is annoying. I didn't even get to see the vet so I have no evidence that a thorough check or any treatment was actually given to my pet. The majority of pandemic restrictions are over so it seems odd that they still won't allow people in the room when their pets are being examined.

The service was efficient and friendly, and the receptionist and vet were both wonderful at explaining things clearly and took very good care of Frank! As an adopted cat, we were worried that he’d be anxious and sad after going to the vet, but he was perky and relaxed on the way back and is back to his bouncy self after the vet prescribed some anti-inflammatory drops for his sore claw! The staff understood our anxieties and were very reassuring, and the lovely receptionist explained the monthly plans available to us so we can ensure Frank gets his full care and vaccinations. Overall great service and wonderful staff.

After feeding a stray I took him in and got him an appointment to be neutered today. So impressed with how everything has been explained and how he was monitored. Also impressed that they’re offering a follow up call to see how he’s doing which I’ve never had from a vets beforehand. Not to mention they’re one of the only vets I’ve found that aren’t overpriced. Staff where friendly and reassuring, and they did a great job of ensuring social distancing at the practice. Thank you!

My first ever visit to a vet in years. I can easily say this is the best service I have ever received. The passion and care they show, as well as being super friendly, instills confidence in you knowing that your pet is in good hands. Therefore I don't mind even paying that bit extra as a result.

The staff at Selly oak vets for pets are all brilliant! Our cat Willow became increasingly ill after a trip to the overnight vets. Selly oaks vets for pets were able to see her in short notice which is amazing under the current circumstances of COVID-19, despite being very anxious, when we left her with the vet (Nick) we knew she was in good hands. We were extremely appreciative of the thorough examination and tests that were conducted, and the communication was brilliant. The examinations and course of treatments were explained to us clearly and we were also given options with varying levels of cost depending on how far we wanted to go, which was very considerate. Being on the one of the health plans Vets4Pets have on offer also gave us discounts on some of the work done... hooray! Thank you so much for looking after Willow with such care, we really appreciate it.

I had a little stafforshire bull terrier. I went into vets4pets once, whilst she was alive, just to get her nails clipped. The nurse who carried this out was so lovely and friendly, my dog Rosie, warmed to her straight away. Because of that, so did I. I now have Charlie, years after Rosie and vets4pets was the first place i rang as he needed his injections and the pdsa, who i have Charlie registered with and Rosie before him, are only open for emergencies. Where vets4pets animals go in an emergency, so all is good. He will be going for a small op soon and I have every faith that Charlie will be taken care excellently.

As soon as I rang and explained what was wrong with my guinea pig the receptionist found an appointment. Very friendly team also. The vet asked me in detail how my animal had been and asked about other pigs in my herd. She had been treated like a queen and everything was explained in detail and then shown to me in terms of medicine etc

Wouldn't say it was bad but nothing great either... I was in waiting area and another lady came and let reception know that she tried to call (she was very polite) and reception start saying how she is here alone and cannot answer all the calls (in not very polite way) . When I took my cat in the room doctor wasn't really attentive to be fair ... I advised that we have "vac for life " package and she started having discussion of that I had to bring the proof of that, once I said that this is not a first time that we coming to this surgery only then she checked profile and calmed down. Also she started discussion of how my cat's leather collar wasn't good for him ... I explained to her that he had previous for 3 years and when we tried to replace with different one he lost it in 2 days so we came back to leather one she wouldn't take in it ... If the leather collars are so bad then why they selling it ?

Always been easy to get an appointment but I've always felt that they've rushed for xrays or blood tests. Twice now I have not followed their advice and in 2 days my cat has got better. Saved hundreds of pounds

The vet was AMAZING! When I have been to other vets they never really cared they just wanted to get on with the other appointment but at vets 4 pets they really cared about every think the vet really looked over my cat (daisy) and ask lots of questions about her and she even weighted her I would recommend vets4pets to every one! The receptionist Was so nice they helped me when my cat (Daisy) she had a accident in her carry case and they cleaned it out for me which they didn’t need to do that and they was really happy to help. so she didn’t have to stay in a messy carry case. I am over the moon that I found a vet as nice as this one thanks you so much! xxxx

The receptionist was really rude, didn’t smile or anything. She was behind the protective glass and was bearing a mask and as I’ve stepped a bit closer because I couldn’t hear what she was saying I’ve been told to “stay away”. Didn’t explain anything about the new process, just took my pet and told me to leave wait in the car. Didn’t explain about the healthcare plans or anything, just tried to get rid of us ASAP. It was my first visit to the vet and it was unpleasant

Although it was tricky getting upstairs to the vet, the receptionist was friendly,and the nurse took time to reassure my dog,rather than just giving the injection straight away. She offered him treats which meant that he didn't notice the injection ( although we couldn't do the same trick with the Kennel cough inoculation).Each time I've been there, I've found the staff to be friendly & not condescending like other vets can be.

On the whole a good vet practice and good covid restrictions in place however when I received both my flea tablets and my worming tablets one was for a tablet when I had been prescribed spot on and the worming tablets were in a box for cat wormer although on prescription was for my dog. Someone having an off day perhaps.

My dog Ben needed a vet on a Sunday. My other vets were closed and the out of ours too far away for me to go. I rang and they booked me an emergency app within an hour. The vet gave him some painkillers and booked operation for the Monday. Very pleased with the service and for the price! I’m not going back to my old vets. The receptionists were very understanding and the nurses and vets very approachable!

We've been taking our rats here for a while now. The vets here are brilliant and they don't charge an arm and a leg for their service, unlike some other surgeries in Birmingham. I definitely recommend coming here!

My cat had a flea infestation and I booked an appointment. I was offered the monthly plan and for only £10 a month my cat is now protected against fleas, ticks and worms as well as yearly booster and more. They applied the pippete that last 3 months for me and showed me how to do it. My experience was very good and I will always recommend them! Thanks

Very good but quite expensive I got my dog insured with pets for vets they did take money off prescriptions and flea and workers came with the insurance ut if you havnt got this it could get expensive especially xray blood tests but I found the staff excellent couldn't fault them..

This is my second year in going to this vets, the first year I was very happy, this year not so much, I took my 13 year old dog there for his booster, I was happy when the vet said his grade 3 heart murmur was the same as the year before, which I was very pleased about, as I was worried it had got worse, then the vets said it doesn't matter if the heart murmur stayed the same, the heart could still stop, at anytime this as upset me a lot, I am worried now, he could drop dead at anytime, I really don't think I could go back, which is a shame, as most of the people who work there are very nice
