This is in essence, the best vets I have ever used, not least because they specialise in cats. The reception staff/nurses are efficient, friendly, helpful and attentive. I've given a 5 star review before but just had to reiterate just how much I rate this place. My cat has needed a lot of care recently and they always take time to explain things thoroughly and have offered me different treatment options which take into account my limited finances. They really go out of their way to make me fell at ease and I genuinely believe they treat Sam like they would their own cat. Thanks again Top Cat.

I have taken my 2 cats here for the last 5 years. They have done some minor things as part of their annual check up that my previous vet charged for. So I see them as fair and caring. They do not go overboard with treatments. Very friendly and skilled vets. Easy parking outside . Just cats and rabbits .

Martin is such a nice person, really funny and has all the time in the world for you. He really puts you at ease. He's so knowledgeable too, and even if he doesn't know something he'll tell you so! He isn't the type to just get you to do surgery etc if it's not necessary, which is something I've found at a lot of other vets, they love adding things on to your bill! Definitely not the case at top cat! I wish I lived closer, I made a long journey to see Martin and I'm glad I did.

Extremely friendly a professional cat veterinary services. Even the waiting clients, cats and kittens in carriers, seemed so laid back and nice. The vet was lovely, gave injection while distracting my kitten (he didn't even notice!) Great advice on worming and flea treatment. It is pleasure to deal with everyone there, from the receptionist, veterinary nurse, to the vet.

If you have a cat, make sure you take them to vets specifically dedicated to treat them. Every member of staff is a friendly, knowledgeable cat lover. I ring them a lot as we are having lots of problems with our new kitten's digestion. They are so helpful, give lots of advice about all aspects of care, even which insurers are the best.

I took Cat here for a consultation before getting the treatment done at PDSA. (They were able to see Cat quickly, but I am registered with the PDSA.) I was able to get an appointment very quickly, they were able to identify the problem, and they passed on the notes to the PDSA before Cat went there. They even kept him until my PDSA appointment, a lot later, so I just take him straight there rather than two extra journeys (Cat doesn't like carry cases or journeys). Excellent, many thanks to the team!

We foster a beautiful old cat from city cat shelter who use this vets. I've been to many vets across Brighton and Hove and none were as helpful and kind as Top Cat. The kind receptionist managed to fit us in right at the end of the day with Martin who seemed very busy. We didn't wait long and we're given some fantastic advice for Lily which has helped her painful gastric issue. Would recommend all day long!

Really positive experience at this vets. Recommended to me by many cat owning friends.Visited with an elderly cat over the past few months during which time all of the staff have been very informative re Belle's condition and caring and supportive regarding end of life care. A friend also took a stray cat along to them and they gave some really helpful advice when another local vet turned them away. I have now registered my other cat with Top Cat - highly recommend.

A second to none Veterinary clinic, Martin and his team clearly have a passionate interest in cat & animal welfare that goes above and beyond. A couple of other reviews have mentioned they aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and at Topcat its expert knowledge and sincere compassion. I won't go anywhere else.

Stayed open late to see my cat who had a swollen chin, I had never used them before and my cat gets stressed going to the vets but he was so well looked after that he calmed down. Great advice and care I will definitely be sticking with them!

First appointment was to get our kitten neutered. Felt incredibly confident with the vet, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about cats, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I live closer to other vets in Brighton but decided on this vet after lots of excellent customer reviews. It's a cat and small animal surgery, that appealled and makes a difference in the waiting room to the cats' stress levels. Highly reccomend for felines.

Vets here were amazing. Sensitive and loving of animals. Martin in particular went above and beyond what we would have expected with his care for our cat that had to be put to sleep, but also in particular, how he dealt with us. A very caring veterinary clinic.

Fantastic. I went to them as my cat (Mr S) isn't fond of the vet at all and tends to use teeth and claws. The receptionist was engaging and spoke to my cat and took an interest (but not to the point that it was annoying) The vet was quiet and calm and let Mr S do things at his pace. He had a lump on his tail that he wouldn't let me or my partner near, but quite happily let the vet have a look. He was rewarded with treats! The cost of the appointment, the injection and antibiotics was reasonable, and Mr S even got a toy catnip mousey at the end! I shall definitely be using this vet again as it's easily accessible, has free parking and the staff are absolutely lovely and are obviously passionate and dedicated.

Best vets ever! I was recommended by friends and despite being very far from my home, I thought it would be worth visiting as I'd heard horrible stories about vets in Brighton. The staff were so so lovely! They genuinely seemed to care about my cat in terms of both health and in general, EG asking about what he likes to play with, where did I get him, etc... The vet administered the medicine to my cat and showed me how to do it easily, unlike every other vet we'd previously visited who had said " just put eye drops in every day". The vet also told me how to check for general symptoms of illness I didn't know about, and where the cat had inflammed gums, the vet said "they aren't too bad, slight redness but he will be fine." I am sure my previous vet would have injected him with a £30 anti inflammatory "just to be sure" :| Also, the staff showed me tiny baby orphan kittens that they were rescuing since the social services ordered them to be put down! :( The staff treated my cat to a toy mouse for free too! Whoever rated them without commenting must have some sort of agenda- this place is wicked. Wasn't too expensive either. Go there! XX

The "front desk" staff were much the best I've come across, the vet was enthusiastic and keen to educate, and after 2 other vets had quoted 600-700 for dental work, TopCat were half that and I've absolutely no reservation about the quality of treatment received.
