Having had to say goodbye to our amazing 16.5 year old English Springer Murphy who was my best mate. It was important to us to make sure we helped Bristol dogs and cats home so I took down all his cleaned toys a new bed and lots of tinned food. The work these guys do especially in these hard times is amazing. Dont buy a new dog visit them and help give a new home to the many loving dogs they have. This photo is 1 year before we lost Murphy at this time we were told to prepare ourselves to say goodbye. He loved the beach and would stand there for hours. Murphy and his sister Bramble are missed so much. Bramble and Murphy had over 16 years of holidays together ❤ and we lost them both within 3 weeks of each other just before Christmas. I cannot imagine 2 dogs that were loved more than these 2 were. Please support this amazing team in what ever way you can.

Wonderful friendly staff, very helpful, they are needed in Bristol, especially in my case wildlife that's in trouble, two baby hedgehogs found on my lawn with blue flies on them. Phoned up seen within minutes, a fabulous service.

My dog past Away back in July so all of his toys coats and anything of use went to help others they are very caring and I think they do a wonderful job. Obviously with covid there also very cautious and said it would all be sanitised but they were very grateful for Roberto's stuff and it's helped me a lot knowing it will help others x

Found a superb furry family member here..To the reviewer who said ''All the dogs have issues''.....of course they do! They have been betrayed by their past humans, maybe abandoned, untrained, unsocialised..but it IS possible to work with their 'issues'.... It is very different at the Home these days, with far fewer dogs 'on show', but this is for the animal's benefit. Your future furry angel may be here, as ours was.

They take care of animals. Adopted my dog from here after 1.5 years in the home and lots of care he came to me and was pampered his whole life. Love the fact that these animals are cared for until the correct owners are found. Now my boy has gone ten years later in forever grateful.

They do an amazing job ..if you have any old towels etc do drop them down ..there's a smallisj green bin for donations in the car park ..to the right near the door

We have had two lovely dogs from here the first was 14 when he left us and the second was 15. She left us in March. We are missing her so much that we are looking for another lovely dog now. The staff here have always been lovely. Hope to see you soon guys!!

If anyone finds injured wild animals in the Bristol area you can phone ARC and they can normally take them from you. ARC are a reliable professional animal care organisation. They have vet staff on site who can assess the animal and pass on to RSPCA colleagues or a suitable animal carer. In the case of bats, they have contacted us as Bat Conservation Trust registered carers to take on a number of bats for them. And we have been referring bats to them. Bristol Bat Rescue
