Really good and supportive Reception and kennel staff. Had the best interests in mind of the animals they need to re-home, whilst assessing and matching interested future owners. Site is welcoming and has areas for walking and a conservatory area for indoor one to one time. The staff want to find the best matches, so they never seem to be in a rush. All staff are doing a great job, especially as more and more 'Lockdown' animals are surrendered. Of note, a clothes recycling bin can be found at the entrance, with proceeds supporting the charity.

Amazing animal sanctuary. They really care about animals and the staff are lovely. We got our amazing Marley from them and would happily get more from them if I had the space. Highly recommend.

A really busy place with people coming and going all the time - which warms my heart. Give a rescue a home, but be patient, they take a while to settle into your home - especially the poor animals who have been previously mistreated, or have been in kennels for a while. We re-homed a border collie from Holly Hedge recently. The staff were really pleased to have found a home for him. Which shows that they love what they are doing. I can't praise them enough.

Holly Hedge is an amazing animal sanctuary. The living conditions of the animals are an extremely good trade off between comfort and space. I've never seen a sanctuary which gives the animals so much space and freedom considering the limitations of land. If you're looking to adopt a catface or a doggo this is definitely the place to go. Please take the time to speak to the staff as they know all of their animals and love them dearly. Holly Hedge are a charity. With this in mind, even if you don't find an animal you feel would suit your home, please leave a donation.

We adopted our German Shepherd from here a short time ago. They are very dedicated to matching their dogs to the right family and they like to have several 'meet and greets' before you can adopt. We are thrilled with our girl and look forward to helping Holly Hedge over the years.

Great charity. They are amazing. Doing a great job in very difficult times. Remember folks they are a charity and have been held by the same restrictions as everyone else. Please be patient it's worth it in the end. I wouldn't be without my bear for the world...

Brilliantly helpful staff who you can tell really care about their animals. The cattery manager was really knowledgeable. Although I ended up adopting a cat from a different sanctuary I would recommend anyone looking to adopt a pet comes here.

Fantastic rescue centre and very efficient. All the staff were very friendly, caring, knowledgeable and helpful. My partner and I saw 2 cats on the Saturday, fell in love, and reserved them that day. I had a call on the Monday from the home checker who came round the following day. I collected the cats very soon after and the adoption process was very quick and easy. They have a lot of cats to choose from and you can go and see any one you wish. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a pet.

Wish I could have all the animals but found the cat of my dreams. Holly hedge are doing a great job....but are a little fussy on who is allowed to have one of there animals, and I know it's better to air on the side of causion but surely an animal is always better of in a loving home rather than stuck in a pen.....that being said I've only ever heard of people having problems and never experienced a problem myself hence the high score
