Everyone at The Grove Vets, especially Andy, have been invaluable to us over the past week during our dogs pregnancy and whilst we’re adjusting to life with a new born pup. Nothing has been too much trouble, and I mean nothing. Friendly, professional, accommodating and reassuring. Everything you could ask for in a vet. Strongly recommended!

Just had the most amazing service! Didn't charge for the needle biopsy - not like many vets who charge for every swab! Very considerate about keeping our cat from the dog in the waiting room, and then carried our obese cat all the way down the road for me! I'd been worried about taking the cat to the vet because they usually treat me like a criminal because my cat was obese. Not so here, just some sensible, realistic advice. The vet's whole manner was sensitive, kind and caring. 10 stars out of 5!

Andy and team are absolutely great, and offer a personally invested commitment to your animals health like I've never known. They're open about what's right for your pet, whilst thinking about affordability and they're happy to discuss homeopathic treatments too. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my boy and his allergies!

I had a lovely first visit last week. The practice itself is clean and modern and feels welcoming. Andy was friendly and knowledgable and everyone there helped make our new puppy feel relaxed. I really like how Andy spent a lot of time talking to us - he gave us a lot of advice but was not pushy at all with his recommendations. He really listened and worked with us to find the right solution for both myself and our puppy.

I cannot recommend The Grove Vets enough! Andy and Amy are a fantastic family team and have given our dog the best care since we have registered with their practice. I have been so impressed with the compassion and knowledge that Andy has shown us since caring for my dog. Andy is always available to chat over the phone and has on numerous occasions helped me to make informed decisions about my dogs care, whilst weighing up and discussing the pros and cons to enable the best outcome. He has been fantastic at looking at the whole picture when caring for my dog whether it is a clinical or behavioural issue, and always has time for me as an owner to discuss options in detail. It is clear that Andy and Amy really care about the animals they see and look after them so well. Can’t thank them enough for all their hard work. Me and my better half registered our cat with The Grove Vets, and have been really impressed with everything about them from day one. They are extremely professional and competent, warm and approachable as well as very knowledgeable. They have clearly made a great effort to adapt to covid-19 as well, and we were still able to meet Andy face to face (socially distanced) and talk through all our concerns, which was really appreciated and helped with our anxiety around our pet. What is really nice is that although the set up, available care and expertise are obviously world class, it has a really local and personable feel and you get the feeling they make a big effort to get to know both you and your pet. We highly recommend them!

The fact that this is family run means my pup will form a relationship with Andy and Amy and know my pup well. We re-homed our cat just at the beginning of the Covid-19 social distancing measures and Andy has been brilliant. Our initial check-up and the follow-up calls have been much appreciated. Took pity on a worried Grandmama looking after her granddaughter's hampster who became ill during 1/2 term. Had an appointment with Amy within 2hrs. Diagnosed, given meds and instructions of how to give it, not an easy thing to do! Amy's care and help was excellent. Hampster has now recovered and is back with her owner.

The Grove Vets in Russell Grove, Henleaze operated yesterday on my 13 or 14 yer old whippet who had a very large limp on his elbow. They also cleaned his teeth, cut his nails and operated on his foot (he has had very painful corns). He is fine and they are the best vets I have ever found and I am 72 and had dogs all my life. I cannot recommend Any and Amy and their team highly enough. THANK YOU GROVE VETS! Three weeks ago tomorrow Andy and Amy removed a cancerous mass from my whippet's leg. It is an amazing piece of surgery and my 14 year old is fine. Thank you AGAIN to Andy, Amy and their amazing team!

The Grove have been looking after my two elderly cats for the past few months now. They have been excellent, even picking up on the root cause of why one of my pets has been unhappy for a while and putting us on course to sort it out and we have a much happier cat. Our previous vet had missed it entirely. The clinic is well spec'd, clean and laid out thoughtfully even allowing social distancing for their current customers. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

As a new puppy owner, we couldn't be more pleased with the approach at The Grove. Our vet (Amy) is highly knowledgable, and patient with our first-time pup owner questions, including following up shortly after our visit with more detailed information. Some simple things, but we really value being able to see the same person when we revisit, and the fact we've been able to book an appointment at short notice, as well as the fact that the phone is answered (or our call quickly returned! Despite being an independent practice, we were glad to find that it was not more expensive than the larger practices/chains across Bristol. Would definitely recommend.

We first went to Grove Vets when our 9 month old kitten urgently needed spaying during lockdown. Andy spayed her observing social distancing and spent time explaining everything to us. We decided to take our 9 year old Jackapoo to him for her immunisations as she has a phobia of the vets and has had to wear a muzzle to have her injections for the last few years. Andy was amazing with her, he spent time making her feel relaxed and was able to inject her without muzzling her. She didn't even yelp! Grove Vets is now our new vets.
