Reviews of The Moggery Rehoming Centre

At the Moggery, the cats are the priority. You're vetted as a prospective owner and only invited to adopt the cats that will suit your home and lifestyle. We've adopted a little girl who is, so far, the noisiest, cutest little ball of fluff. She'll be sure to keep our two adult cats in line when we've properly introduced them.

Brilliant people doing a fantastic job. We had to re home my late father in laws kitten. They were very friendly people. And they have informed us that he has been re homed to a new family. Can not praise them enough. And its charity run.
Please donate if you can. Thanks.

I volunteered here and theyve really done an amazing job to home the cats and give them a safe place. Really enjoyed my time volunteering there, my favourite was Gaynor 😻
One suggestion Id like to make is to maybe make a instagram and post photos of the cats to help with more adoptions!

Brilliant place! A kind and caring team of staff who helped us to take in three gorgeous kittens. Be advised, there is currently some issues with rehousing black as they're undesirable for some reason. Try and adopt these cats if possible

A wonderful place with very caring staff and owner. It is very very evident that the cats and kittens are the priority. The phone rang non stop whilst we were there with injured cats and the lady said take them to the vet we will pay no problem. If only more people loved cats as much, high recommend to anyone looking to adopt.

Was initially a little unsure what to expect, but they were so friendly and helpful, and helped us find the perfect cat for us! So much more approachable and personable than the other cat adoption centres we contacted in Bristol. We will definitely direct others to the Moggery in future!

I got my furbaby from the lovely ladies who run this place and I couldn't be a happier cat mom. The kitty was exactly as described in appearance and temperament. They also gave me wonderful ideas on how to cope with her in the beginning as she got used to her new home. Now my cat is a happy, playful, confident and affectionate girl and I'm a proud cat mum. Thank you!

I been lucky enough to meet some of the team at the Moggery when collecting cats to go to the neutering clinic at Langford.
They're a very dedicated team who do amazing work, and have helped so many cats find their forever homes.

This place is very friendly, but it is a normal house, it's difficult for found.
But i understand, the direction of this organisation prefers pay for food or things like that, and choose pay less for walls, it a fine way i agree.
We are going to this organisation , because we looking after kitten who is need a loving home, and the woman who we answered us, is very friendly, understanding and welcoming, that is very good.
I would hardly recommend this organisation even if you looking for give a cats food as gift, or looking for looving your next family member.
Thanks for reading me, and sorry for language mistakes, in gact i'm french and i learn English but it doesn't good at thi time.
I can't add a picture, because we are discuss with staff, but nothing can be take in pictures, maybe the next time we travel to rhis place i take a pictures of front the house for hwlping people to found this place.

We visited The Moggery today to donate some food. What Christine and her team of volunteeers do is truly amazing.
Not only were we impressed by their commitment to looking after-and rehoming- cats in need, we were blown away by what this registered charity is doing to support the youth of the community. They work closely with the Duke of Edinburgh award system giving purpose and structure to the dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers.
There was a clear focus on doing things the right way, with posters on the wall showing costings of neutering/spaying and all necesssary treatments for the cats that arrive with them.
We loved the fact that Christine was specific about the cats favourite meals. If you are looking to donate, they LOVE Felix in jelly. Or, if you fancy treating them, Glenryck pilchards in tomato sauce is a firm favourite!
We can’t wait to go back to help out. We also hope if you are reading this and looking to re-home a cat, you will make contact with this loving charity. 🐈❤️

The Moggery is a cats' rescue centre run entirely by volunteers and headed by the delightful Christine. As with other pet rescue centres they have a fairly long list of conditions for potential adopters, but they are drawn up to ensure their cats are safer and happier in their new homes. The Moggery exists entirely on donations- and costs are considerable for food, litter and vets' fees etc. Christine is a star, she equips both cat and adopters/rehomers with a wealth of useful pet carriers and useful information and she will always advise and assist should a cat become unwell. There are a lot of cats at the Moggery, each with a heart-wrenching history. My own rescue cat was found at the age of one, heavily pregnant but luckily she gave birth to 5 kittens at The Moggery. She was a wonderful mother and now all the kittens and mum have been rehomed. It is such a caring place, and if anyone's considering getting a rescue cat or kitten they should ring The Moggery first to meet Christine and to view the available cats. There is nothing better than offering an unfortunate feline a safe and loving home. In return they will enrich your life and provide endless fun and love. The Moggery is a wonderful place which I recommend to anyone wanting to take on a cat or kitten. Check out their website!

The Moggery desrves ten stars really due to the dedication of the founder, Christine, and her wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly to keep the place up and running purely on the donations they receive. As soon as you walk in there are cats and kittens in every room - even feral cats who come to the back door for food! They are understandably careful about people asking to rehome a cat but the support offered to new ownners is second to none. The cats and kittens have all been rescued or taken in if someone's circumstances change to prevent them from keeping their cat. Having rehomed my own cat from here, I'd encourage anyone looking for a cat/kitten to try the Moggery first. You often have to leave a message on their phone but they always call back. This is a fantastic rescue centre.
