Brilliant food and very friendly and quick service. I've been to a few middle Eastern restaurants and this is definitely one of the best. The kibba (lamb stuffed balls) are the best I've had. They were also very helpful, squeezing us in without a reservation

First time visiting Mina’s. Restaurant was relaxed and staff were friendly & welcoming. I enjoyed a Lamb meal, best lamb i have had in a long time. I've been visiting Mina's for some 16 years now, and my wife's family even longer. I can't fault the food, can honestly say I have never had a bad meal, the quality has remained consistent throughout the years and the staff as friendly as ever, the atmosphere is lovely. It's small enough to feel intimate but not claustrophobic, take your time to take in the decor and enjoy a cocktail or two as you work through the menu, it won't disappoint.

I have been eating at this Restaurant for a few years now, my partner has been eating here for some 17 years!! This restaurant is lovely and small with the friendly service but the food is always fantastic. I would, and have recommended Mina’s to anyone. Please support your local family businesses as this one is amazing!! We had takeaway food today, and was just as good as being in the restaurant. I have literally never reviewed anything on Google but I had to say something! We got a take away and it was just exactly what we wanted and more. We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant, starting with the yummy appetizers that we thought we filled up on, to the sweets. The Main dishes were great. We were a group of ten, including children of different ages and very picky ones. Their signature dishes of Mina lamb and chicken were full of flavors. My son ordered garlic bread/ was the best!!. Clean, nicely and tastefully decorated. Very unique, highly recommend it, especially to anyone visiting from overseas.

I will start this review by saying I have loved Mina for 15 years since I lived in Cardiff from 2005 for 2 years. Every time I go back I book a table and it is always amazing. This time however, I was really disappointed. I had to preorder the food due to covid resrtictions, and despite them having it written clearly in back and white they got the order wrong. I had a meal with meat delivered when I am vegetarian. They then proceeded to tell me just to take the meat off and give it to my boyfriend and said they wouldn't replace it with anything vegetarian. It was really hard to talk to them without having to talk loudly as they were obviously standing a way from the table. After trying to enquire about alternatives I gave up as the other diners were staring. It isn't acceptable to think a vegetarian will eat food that has had meat on it. There was no apology or any attempt to make this right. I fear I won't be returning on my next visit.

Visited last night for the first time and we'll definitely be back when we're visiting Cardiff. The food was wonderful, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Service was friendly, attentive but not intrusive. All in all a great introduction to Lebanese food.

A very nice restaurant. The staff were so friendly, and the food was tasty. I was particularly impressed with my main - the lamb was very tender, and the sauce with it had a lot of flavour. The only downside is that I thought the starter (mezze share) and the Lebanese wine were overpriced for what they were. But I'll definitely go back.

So me and my house mates tried this place for the first time today. We ordered for collection. The man I spoke to on the phone initially was very polite and helpful in providing me with the information I needed about the menu so that was a good start. The order was as follows for the 4 of us: 1 x Mina Lamb 1 x Mina Chicken 1 x Selection of 6 Mezze for 2 1 x Falafel 1 x Baba Ghanoush 1 x Tabboule 1 x Leban-Bi Khayar 1 x Baklava 3 x Arabic Bread The food was super tasty! The portion sizes were good, the selection of 6 mezze for 2 is good as a main meal for 1 and the Kiba Lamb pieces are definitely worth a special mention. Both the Mina Lamb and Mina Chicken were very good both in portion and quality and had lots of flavour. The Baba Ghanoush was also delightful, very good for dipping bread or mixing with the rest of the food on your plate. Overall a very good experience and I will more than likely be back soon. There are only 2 things I can think of that weren't great. One being the bread, it was tasty and I definitely enjoyed it but the portion was small for the price considering how cheap bread is to make and when comparing to similar restaurants, your the the first I've come across that actually charge for it. The second thing would be that by presumption the food was probably done and packed about 10 minutes before I even arrived at the restaurant for collection because by the time I got home (and I took it home in a professional delivery bag) some of the food was pretty cold. Both of these things are minor inconveniences but I feel it's good for both the restaurant and the customers to know of them. As said above, overall a very good experience and I will be back soon!

We just happened to be in Cardiff and wanted to eat. We did a search and this restaurant sounded pretty good. So we drove over and went in to initially be told we can’t eat there due to reservations. Fair enough, it’s not a huge place. As we’re leaving I believe the owner came over to us and asked how many and if we’d be more than an hour. After we answered he gave us a table and we ordered. The service and food was great, well worth the stop and very grateful they could accommodate us. Next time we’ll make reservations before hand since it’s worth the small amount of effort.

First time in Mina, on recommendation of friends we enjoyed a birthday dinner for eight last night. Two tables of four for our party we were socially distanced. The food was delicious, we started with their mezze assortment for 4 on each table and amongst the mains we enjoyed 3 different steaks, lamb, chicken and tiger prawns. Not much left on anybody’s plate. They played a great recording of Happy Birthday for the most embarrassed 17 year old! Great atmosphere, the place for a family get together. Thank you Mina.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Great service, great decor, wonderful food!!! Shish kebabs beautifully tender and slightly chard, slow cooked meats that melt in the mouth, incredible sauces. One veggie main dish which is very good and amazing tapas.

I had never tried Lebanese food before visiting Mina, but I will definitely be having it again now! I've rarely been to a restaurant where the food was cooked so perfectly and with such attention to detail. The restaurant is small, but has a great, cost atmosphere and is very reasonably priced. If you've also never tried Lebanese food, this is the place to try it!
