C. A.I would like to thank the pdsa for helping tia my 4 year old cat on Friday 11th 2022 at 9.20pm I found tia at my back door she was hit by a car . Thankfully tia hadn't broken any bones but she can't walk on her back legs and has an injury on her side. I'm now having to put ab incontinent pad on her due to her having trouble to go the the toilet. But I'm so used to see tia on the first photo lively running but now she can't. I just wish the government will put a law out on cats its not fair . I was so traumatised but thanku pdsa u saved her and tia will appreciate that.

M. W.Again after 6 years. I still give 5 stars. The staff are wonderful and are a massive credit to the charity. They are friendly polite and understanding. We took Roxy here for over 6 years for a number of things she was always looked after from checkups to treatments. She sadly passed away on the 22nd September 2022. But Roxy was treated with the most amazing respect and so where we when it was time to say goodbye to her we were given time with her ..but thank you again to the staff. You are a credit and amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone.

F. H.Had to book an emergency appointment for a 13 week old kitten. Kitten got an appt and life saving treatment the same day. All staff were excellent, very professional and the vet was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Could not fault the service provided. This charity really is doing a fantastic job of improving the lives of animals that may not otherwise have the luxury of veterinary care. If only private vets were capable of reasonable and fair pricing too; it would take the pressure off this excellent charity.

L. “.Took our cat here for an emergency appointment. Managed to get one the same day. Car park is horrific. Very small, only one disabled bay almost always occupied by someone without a badge. Very noisy inside, took a long time past our appointment time to be seen. Was in an out with the vet in less than 5 minutes. There was alot of people lurking on the slope making it a struggle just to get into the door. Small waiting area. Friendly staff.
S.Sadly we had to take our dear dog here on his final day. All the staff showed extraordinary compassion and sympathy at a very traumatic time. We were so glad that he spent his final minutes here in their care.
N. C.Helpful and supportive, this is an overnight partner to Vets4Pets in Nuneaton. As with Vets in Nuneaton pet care is hellishly expensive so insurance is definitely needed. I was surprised to have to pay all fees and claim back but guess vets have had issues with non-payment in the past. Pet well cared for and documentation showed detail of his care. Had to chase up with their insurance team as pet insurance hadn't received it after a week so unable to claim back initially, but eventually got through and was sorted quickly.
B. P.After using my local vet & nothing being resolved with my dog I was told about P.D.S.A they are excellent vets & solved my poorly dogs problems within the 1st visit and her ongoing care has been exceptional. My faith in vets has been restored 😉

D. C.I've only just started to use the PDSA, been twice in the last two months, once to see a vet and one to see a nurse, with both of my Chihuahuas. Both times I've been fitted in really quickly, lovely vet & nurse, really helpful and friendly. Sorted both problems out and lots of helpful advice! I have to pay as not on benefits, but much cheaper than my usual vets.

J. S.I can't understand the negative reviews. The staff/vets at PDSA Coventry were outstanding during the treatment & recovery of my little dog Millie. Without them she would not be here today & I'll gorever be grateful! THANK YOU! It always beggers belief when the charity gets poor reviews when as a charity, they are helping the pets of people on low incomes who otherwise would not be able to afford to get them treated- Or 24hour service. Not for the first time my dog has had this life threatening illness... and not for the first time has my pooch pulled through. This was my first experience with pdsa Coventry and their compassion was just what both millie & I needed to get through this ordeal ❤️

Considering they are charity based there professionalism is brilliant they have saved my black and white cat munch's life twice he's now 6years thanks to Pdsa . And was great with my miniture Yorkshire terrier puppy Keanu age 14 weeks (3 1/2 months.
I think the only thing they need to change is a ticket system because standing in that line which is sometimes out the door people cant get in or out, for as long as we have to kills my legs hips and back. And u cant sit down you will loose your place. Its donation based but I give them £30 everytime I go. It's worth it x

R. B.Had previously had my dog registered at another vet practise and didn't have the best experience with them.
Our dog was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and whilst we were under lockdown restrictions, they didn't show much appreciation or care for our situation - apart from making money!
Was recommended to the PDSA and in the short while they helped us, I was hugely impressed that these guys genuinely seemed to care, not just about my dog but also us as a family.
Our dog was unfortunately put to sleep yesterday and while it wasn't a pleasant situation, they made the experience as good as it could be. They called the day before the appointment to make sure I was happy with everything that had been confirmed and answered every single question I had to ask.
On the day of the appointment, the staff were friendly, understanding and didn't make us feel rushed in saying goodbye to our furry family member. The vets who carried out the procedure explained what would happen when the injection was given and handled themselves with compassion whilst carrying it out.
I'd definitely recommend them to others. We also have a cat that as soon as we're able to get her registered, will be using their services also.
It was refreshing to deal with vets that actually care about the animals left in their care and their prices are very competitive in comparison to others.
Thank you for helping us with a difficult situation, it was really appreciated.

L. B.Unfortunately it doesn't cover surrounding areas on the outskirts of the city. However our cat had an unfortunate incident with a lorry and was taken there. The staff were lovely and understanding as out cat never lived. Would recommend to those that are in the catchment area.

Before visiting the surgery, emails sent to me & phone calls made to me
asking for details & photos of problem with our pet rabbit, Cinnamon 😊🐰
Again once, at surgery ( safty guidelines in place, which are to be followed.)
The vet Ed, explained at each stage, what was happening & treatment was needed,
also how to give the medication, with a follow up phone call checking on Cinnamon's health a week later.
I highly recommend, praise & Thank the staff at Coventry PDSA Pet Hospital.
N. E.My dog TYE has been registered there for 12 years. 2 weeks ago he had to get put down. The vet that day,WOW.....she was amazing, if we would of seen her 3months ago when I took him,well I say no more. Put it this way, he was sent home with Omoprozole.....
They all went far and beyond to make sure my and TYE'S last 30 minutes was perfect to say goodbye to each other. P.D.S.A are amazing, they've also put every step in to help protect everyone and there staff with the corona virus..
D. C.I very recently took my dog Oskar to PDSA Coventry as he was very poorly had a great service very understanding as I had to have him put to sleep unfortunately. Receptionists on phone and at the practice were so helpful they couldn't have done enough also the vet doctor and nurse who assisted him. Very greatful for all involved you all do an amazing job thank yo all so very much for looking after him for me !!

If you have a cat that drastically drinks too much then change the food till this improves and give it aniforte multivitamin powdered supplement. It's brilliant and goes a long way.

They welcomed us Covid securely, and looked after our dog with great care. The staff were kind, helpful and reassuring. I was able to phone for updates at any time . Very impressed. B. E.Fantastic service from the team at PDSA Hospital in Coventry. After a sleepless night and a poorly kitty I was able to get an emergency appointment on the same day. Team were welcoming and supportive and the vet was brilliant and explanatory.

If they are unable to help they will get a more helpful member of staff to assist The waiting room and the seats and the toilets are kept clean at all times.
if a pet has had an accident on the floor a member of staff will sort out the problem as soon as possible.
I have been many times with both my dog and my cats the vets and nurses and voluntary members of staff.
Emergency night-time appointments are available all you have to do is call them. We have used this service and it is so valuable.

A. O.Out of hours Vets Now treated my dog that had an allergic reaction to a bee sting. Within minutes of receiving an injection, the swelling had started to subside. Following a long sleep, the patient made a full recovery. Staff were caring and attentive and reassuring at a difficult time. Glad the weekend staff were available and acted promptly.
D. P.The staff at the PDSA are brilliant in every way possible. We took our to there emergency cover at night and had to go back following day to be told he had to have a operation on his paw. The care he was given during and after was top class and they kept in contact with u during the time he was there to put your mind at rest. Top class vets and dedicated people.

L. M.There is no urgency, no call back despite being told your on the list. Prescribe medication that doesn’t work as they don’t read the history. Snotty receptionist. Poor poor quality of care.
However, I have recently had vet called Ed call me back, he is brilliant and genuinely cares about the welfare of my dog. Ed has changed my opinion of the service completely, so Thankyou !!

P. T.Covid restrictions still very strict. Quite long winded process to get seen. So much so that I had to go elsewhere. Does not feel like they are geared up for emergency visit I'm sorry to say. But that was just my personal experience on the day.

They treated Oscar with the love/care/consideration he needed but unfortunately he had to be put to sleep

K. P.I unfortunately and unexpectedly had to have one of my cats put to sleep last week after his health suddenly took a turn for the worst. The staff at PDSA Coventry were prompt and attentive and the vet took Loki straight through upon arrival. The vet (I think his name was Ed?) was extremely professional and sympathetic throughout and answered all my questions and didn't pressurise me one way or another. Sadly, the best option was to have my boy put to sleep and the vet explained things and reassured me. Despite the current Covid-19 restrictions, I was still able to see and comfort Loki in the final moments before the final injection and then was given as much time as I required to be with him and to grieve afterwards. The vet put me in touch with CPC to arrange an individual cremation as well. Given the difficulty of such a scenario for myself to deal with after 14 and a half years together, I cannot fault the PDSA Coventry and am grateful for their time and effort in trying to help Loki and for helping me make the decision to make his passing swift and without prolonged suffering or deterioration.

A. S.The vets are really good and very helpful, however we had a lot of miss communication going on. The manager of the place says one thing and the receptionist another. I had to change my rabbit's neutering appointment just because the receptionist was being very difficult and rude and I thought it is not worth it.

I. T.My little dog passed away I called the pdsa hospital about 2.15 am they told me to take him to them as I wanted his ashes they were very calm and friendly let me stay with him for awhile. I have been using the pdsa hospital Coventry for nearly 3 years the vets are friendly and professional they really care about the animals they see two of them I would have trusted with my life unfortunately on has gone away the other is doing more admin work but from the receipton staff to the pharmacy all very professional and thank them for looking after Gizzy.
R. O.Fantastic very caring friendly helpful staff & doctors. My beautiful dwarf rabbit bleu had to be admitted over night at the hospital & i was extremely upset as he is a house rabbit & has always been in my company from a baby. The doctor assured me he was in good hands as he was very poorly, i collected bleu the next day with some medicine they gave me to take away & within 2 days he was running around bouncing about & back to his self. I can't thank the PDSA enough & i just like to say you guy's rock! You made a very sad man very happy again. Thankyou for looking after my boy.

Mist vets these days are just after money and dont care about your pet however you can see at the pdsa all the staff are polite , friendly and really care for your pet and work hard to provide the best care they can for you and your pet. We cant thank them enough for what they did for us and we will always be very grateful to them. If you have a pdsa shop near you then please donate what you can to this great service and cause.

M.I sadly had to take my dog meeka to be put to sleep the nurses were really good but going back to collect her ashes was a different story another dog who was very distressed was waiting to be put to sleep and the owner struggled to hold her distressed me greatly i feel the vets could have done more to alleviate the owners stress and more importantly the poor dog herself very traumatic for everyone waiting to see the vet not happy at all.
R. S. B.The care for the pets is very good ,the only reason I have held back 2 stars is because of one of the receptionist. She is a late middle aged woman who looks like she was the donor in a personality transplant. She is abrupt and downright miserable. Peaple use the pdsa became they cannot afford vets bills , but she make you feel guilty for doing so .

A. D.Visited during early hours of morning with my frenchie who had epilepsy. Regretably at only 4 yrs old this was his final and fatal seizure. The vet on duty was very caring towards both my very ill frenchie and myself and my husband. The vet called and spoke to us a couple of days after and discussed what had happened. He felt our pain and that means a lot. 3 wks on and I have just collected my boys ashes. Thankyou to the Saturday am receptionist again proffesional to the last. Poor lady was as upset as myself and I couldn't even speak to her. Thankyou all for caring x
