So happy with my experience of Alba vets. Staff are always so nice and friendly and really listen when you are talking about your animals. I really feel that they all genuinely care about all the animals that go through their door.

Very clean lovely staff a lot cheaper than other vets, I can't name but begins with In...... that all I can say on them. Albacete was recommended by my son and daughter and I thank them. I couldn't say bad anything about this vet.

Can't thank Alba vets enough especially vet Louise and her team. Our dog Luna became quite ill a couple of months ago and we were slightly lost as to what it was and very worried. Luna has a tendency to eat anything and we were worried she had eaten something on one of her walks. Turns out it wasn't and she had suspected Canine Meningitis. Louise and her team worked quickly to diagnose and treat her. 2 months later and we have our puppy back to her health and putting on weight. Highly recommend them.

We had Nicki, the veterinary nurse, vaccinate our two cats today, and she is so soothing and calming with them that they immediately settled (even after their jags) and enjoyed their tummy rubs. Thank you for taking the time to make this such an enjoyable experience for them!

Phoned to ask advice about travelling to Europe with our dog, it’s now very complicated, and we were given the response that it is totally our responsibility to find out what we require of the vet with regards to vaccines, treatments and certificates for EU travel. Would have thought any decent vet would be able to advise us what we require and when????? We have since been contacted by the practice owner with an apology and all the expert advice we could possibly require. Booking dog in for relevant EU travel exam etc.

Take our dog Ness here for acupuncture every 4 weeks or so. She loves coming here always gets cuddles and biscuits from Amy the vet.

My wife and I have been customers at Albavet for almost 16 years. We have two cats, Nessie (15 years) and Peppa (13 years), and they have been looked after by Albavet for their entire lives. We have had some hit and miss experiences over the years, particularly with communication failures between some of the vets and admin staff at the two surgeries - Dalgety Bay and Dunfermline. But the care that both cats have received in the past six months has been exceptional. The continuity of care has been exemplary. We have utmost faith in our vet Niamh, who has taken the time to get to the root of the problem with Peppa's thyroid issues and we believe that she brought our precious cat back from the brink. We were so relieved to have our cat back to her usual self and her antics. We are grateful for the care and dedication that Niamh and the team at Albavet have shown.

My dog ate loads of Easter candy. I took him to Alba vet and they were very loving and careful and communicated well with what was going on. Kept him overnight, gave him everything he needed and gave me clear directions to bring him home right as rain. Easy social distancing rules in place with good signage. Glad to have them to help out even during lockdown.

Friendly accommodating staff, the vet Louise was fantastic with my Siamese who is normally really stressed going to the vet. Took her time, listened to my opinions, didn't dismiss me as a layperson and took my cat seriously. Also fantastic with nail clippers, never seen them done so fast with so little stress! She even sat on the floor to give my cat an injection because the cat seemed happier on the ground. An all-over positive experience and reasonably priced too.

i have been attending Alba with my cat Coco for several years now, and am deeply grateful to all the staff there for their kindness and support. Last year (2014) Coco had to have a serious operation on his ear, which although successful, required a lot of follow up care and nursing. My own health was very poor at the time and Albavet were extremely helpful and kind, boarding Coco and taking care of him when it all got too much for me. He became quite a celebrity at the surgery and I was confident that everyone there was doing their best to pull him through his recovery. Coco is now well and happy, and I cannot thank Albavet enough. I am deeply grateful to all the staff at Albavet, Dunfermline, for the expert care, kindness and support that I have received during that time that I have been attending the clinic with my cat Coco. Yesterday my beloved boy was put to sleep peacefully and gently after a long, courageous battle with one illness after the other, and then a crisis in the night. I was able to hold him and comfort him throughout the process, and he showed no fear or stress, passing quickly away into peace. Everyone was so kind and supportive and I could not ask for a better service. My heartfelt thanks to Albavet Dunfermline and all the staff.

Unfortunately my beloved dog had to put to sleep. Taylor the receptionist gave my son who had to accompany our dog , an appointment to suit and instructions to comply with COVD. Whilst our dog was given a sedative they allowed my son to sit outdoors with him in his arms whilst he drifted of to sleep . This was not our usual vet but the service was delivered with such sensitivity and care I felt impelled to write a review . They even awaited payment till the following day , which in my experience is unheard of .

We love AlbaVet. We feel that they really care about our little elderly dog. Excellent vets, advice, great reception staff, can't say enough good things about them. We left for a bit as there was a practice closer to us, and we couldn't return faster. We'll not leave again, we think they're great.

We have attended this practice for nearly 40 years with our various pets. As usual, our latest visit was a good experience. Our dog 'likes' the vets. This visit was for annual innocculations and for worming. At the time she also received a jag against Kennel Cough, as a previous dog of ours had it, and we know how nasty it can be. I like getting a reminder by email, it means I am less likely to forget. If I have one gripe, it is that I do get emails for appointments that I have already made, and have had a few about Kennel Cough. If you looked at her records you'd see she already had it. The prices seem fair, the staff are friendly, the choice of surgery location good.

Took my puppy shadow for his first visit and they gave him his microchip and flea and worm treatment plus free bag of puppy food all for 13.49 of healthy pet plan. They are also very good with pets and shadow definitely enjoyed his first visit

I have been using The Dunfermline branch now for over 5 yrs. Having dealt with various vets.I have two retired working Labrdours. One which has had to be seen regularly over the last few years because of her age. The practice and the staff are wonderful, polite.courteous and a friendly atmosphere.The vets have changed slightly..this is normal and I've been very fortunate in now dealing with a Canandian Vet called 'Angie'.She is the best! So attentitive to 'Mints' condition,She never rushes appointments.Makes me feel 'special' with her caring attitude towards my amazing dog. She goes the xtra mile in all areas. I feel 100% confident and comfortable dealing with this Care Centre. Recently the changes made have 'Upped' the whole image and services they now provide. They even have a cool Ambulance!! and that is cool!..They also offer alternative therapy through 'Jane Hunter ' whom has dealt with 'Mint' on one occassion..again she is of the highest calibre. The highest Quality Care all round from this practice Is my personal experience with them..having trained and worked with dogs for over 15yrs Now I've dealt with many vets.
