Excellent as always. It is such a relief to have the vet come to my home. Duds is easily stressed and the cat carrier/car journey can be too much for him. Dr Shaw was patient with Duds who was calm and co-operative. Nothing is too much trouble for VetKind. Sourced a Flea/Worm spot on type which wouldn't upset Duds sensitive tummy at a competitive price. All in all I am happy to recommend VetKind. Knowledgeable staff, professional, listen to your concerns and don't dismiss you as a crazy cat lady! Duds after Dr Shawn's visit.

This is an excellent service. Friendly, efficient and reliable. Bitsey my 8 year old female cat found being taken to the vet in the past a traumatic experience. The vet came to our home today and engaged with her and accepted her yearly jag without difficulty. The cost is also very reasonable. Can’t recommend this service highly enough. 🐱

My elderly rescue cat is absolutely petrified of people, apart from Dr Shaw, who he really likes! I've had him over 10 years and she's the only person who's ever managed to get near him without major drama, she can even give him injections. I'm stunned, she's magical, can't recommend enough!

Excellence in veterinary care Martha is a lovely professional with the most up to date knowledge and expertise. The best in Edinburgh. Julia is a fantastic vet who is also extremely professional supportive, kind and helpful. I feel I can relax and trust Julia and Vet Kind always have the pets best interests at heart which is a rare thing these days when other vets are very money motivated. I feel after having animals for over 20 years that I have finally found a vet I can trust. Emma is always very kind, helpful and lovely too. Just needed my old Jack Russell checked over at home...just moved here from Cornwall which will affect the dog....she seemed to have a tummy upset/ not drinking ....Vet was really warm welcoming and professional. Needed a base line to know she is linked in with a vet here...and not leaving your home...really fantastic service and thank you .....

We had never used Vetkind, but were recommended from our vet once we decided to make the tough decision to put our dog to sleep, and wanted to do it in the comfort of our own home. I sent an email and left a voicemail over the holidays, which they returned within a day, and scheduled an appointment for a few days later. They were very happy to work with our schedule and Mhairi was here at the exact scheduled time. She was very kind and considerate, and we didn't feel rushed. Mhairi answered all of our questions - even the silly ones - and put us at ease. She was great with our Bindi and made her final moments very special. Putting your pet to sleep is never the ideal situation, but under the circumstances, we had the perfect scenario and it wouldn't have been possible without Vetkind and Mhairi. Thank you so much.

I am absolutely delighted by the service given by Vetkind. I have 3 cats all of whom were completely relaxed during their annual boosters visit. No more stress trying to get them into their baskets and into the car for a very stressful drive to and from the vet. A much more pleasant experience for all of us! Mhairi is excellent at connecting with your much loved pet and helping them to relax. I would definitely recommend Vetkind for your pet.

Martha comes to visit our elderly cat now, as we really didn’t think it was fair to drag him to a clinic for check ups anymore, given the stress it causes him. She is absolutely lovely and Frankie is quite happy to let her examine him (though I think the treats help!) Brilliant service

Vetkind are the only vetinary service to use. This amazing and dynamic team care for my diabetic, 9 year old moggy, Mr Jim. Martha was amazing, very calm and professional. Never had a vet to the hosue before, but because it's been impossible to get Pebbles into a carrier. A vet coming to the house was the only option. My beautiful 8 year old Shar-pei/staffy Cross, Alfie was diagnosed with Canine lymphoma in July and I watched him go from a happy, playful, energetic and chunky boy to a boney, restless and lethargic lad. He was so full of love and kindness and knew always how to cheer me up. The vet that was taking care of him wouldn't have allowed me to be with him in his final minutes due to covid19 and I couldn't have lived with myself if I hadn't been by his side. With a little look online for home euthanasia I found vetkind and with a heavy heart booked an appointment with Louise. She was exceptional with Alfie, she gave him treats, which he absolutely loved, finishing off the entire packet. Once he had passed Louise gave me some time to mourn until Alex from icare arrived, they made my beautiful boy comfortable and made sure I was ready before taking him away. They both gave him such dignity and respect, even when leaving. I am very thankful for them both being so strong and professional during one of my hardest moments. I seriously recommend vetkind to anyone.

Mobile vets: What a great idea! Having looked after many Bengal cats over the years and struggled with bringing the very reluctant stressful cats to the vet (and subsequent cancellation of plenty appointments due to disappearance of said cat!), I am grateful for Vetkind. This is our third checkup for our cat with Martha, the last two being from her previous practice. She suggested giving the cat some gabapentin two hours beforehand to sedate her, as Ninja gets too anxious to be examined properly. When the capsules got lost in the post, she even dropped them round in person. I think this is the first time Ninja has been fully examined as an adult, and as she was all relaxed, it was very thorough. Martha was lovely as ever, very helpful and kind, and gave us plenty of time. It makes such a difference being able to have it all at home, especially as I'm disabled and struggle to get out, and it's such a relief to know that's she's in fine fettle.

Very happy with my experience with vetkind. Martha helped me with my dog export and import, which is a complicated process. Both her and Mhairi always make sure all the treatments comply with the policy and contact DEFRA or lab directly in needs. Their charges are reasonable (except for the fee of blood test which is a bit higher than others due to the size of the company). Martha is professional as a vet and also considered, giving lots of good advice and assistance, more like a friend. My dog lovers her and my mind is simply eased with their reliable work.
