I've been using The Cat Clinic for about 4 months now for my elderly cat who has renal failure, heart murmur and dodgy teeth. The first vet was pushing me to get quite pricey dental work done (which I was prepared to pay for if needed) but she has left now and the second vet has been brilliant, making clinical decisions clearly that are best for my cat and putting my trust back in this practice. I'm happy to recommend them for your feline needs.

I just hd my first appoimtkent today and I couldn’t be happier. Finally a place were they actually care about my wee panther, processes explained clearly. Also, a place were assistants and receptionists are sooo nice! That totally changes the experience. Thank you guys for your work.

At the superb age of 18 we had to say a final goodbye to Minnie and all the staff at The Cat Clinic played such a huge part in making this as peaceful and respectful as possible. The staff did all the tests they could and helped us kindly, professionally and respectfully come to this decision that was the right thing to do for Minnie. We dropped her off about 11am and tests were taken the same day to help with the final part of her journey. The staff not only looked after our Minnie but us also. We had to leave her for tests and I thought she would be petrified without us there but when I went back later she was very calm and clearly had been looked after very well indeed. We will be eternally grateful to all the staff and would highly recommend. We will adopt cats in the future and certainly be back. Thank you The Cat Clinic for helping Minnie and us.

Best vet ever, been going there for the last 8 years and have aways been fai with vaccines and care for my cat. I never felt pressured at doing anything, and they really care about the animals. I would highly recommend it

Lovely little vet, always able to get an appointment. Staff are super friendly and treat the cats really well. Not the best for trying to find a parking spot but other than that, it's great!

The staff was so friendly and accommodating - I am brand new to the area and had two kitties suffering pretty bad "pet lag" from their Transatlantic flight, showing worrying signs of lethargy, disinterest in food, and dehydration. The Cat Clinic helped me get registered and made time to see the kitties THAT morning, giving them an IV and anti nausea shot that helped them get through the rest of their malaise. The girls are now settled in to their new digs, are totally adjusted, and most importantly - perfectly healthy - which I completely credit The Cat Clinic for. What a wonderful vet!

My cat has been a patient here for several years and we have always had pleasant experiences. They have a schedule that allows for appointments outside of the usual 9-5 if you work full-time and in emergencies they have usually been able to find openings the same day. The doctors are gentle with cats and professional with their owners and are happy to answer any and all questions.

I joined this clinic over a year ago and both myself and boyfriend thought they were the best set of professionals. Our cat was sick and was diagnosed within a couple of days after we first took her. They were so good in helping us deal with her heart disease and when the time came for her to leave we could not have asked for a more kind, helpful.and engaging set of staff!!!!

Absolutely wonderful vet clinic. Been taking my cat here for over a month and we could not be happier with the treatment she's receiving. Staff is very friendly and professional. I feel like my cat is getting the treatment that she needs ,and the doctors really care. Doctors in this clinic will not push unnecessarily large amounts of medications on your cat ,and if your cat is nervous - they'll make sure to space the appointments out as much as possible to reduce your feline friend's stress while still providing excellent care. Could not recommend The Cat Clinic enough.

So a little background information for new pet owners. The cat clinic is a little more in terms of cost than some other places. Now I know not everyone can afford it but if you can, then I would say definitely consider them. 1. They now have a service where they come to your house. 2. As there are no other animals such as dogs in the clinic your cat, specially if it's a indoor only cat will be more relaxed. 3. The team there know what they are talking about. Everyone is cat made so you quickly realise there is a lot to learn. 4. If you are getting your cat neutered which I would definitely recommend you do as soon as possible then the cat clinic is the place to get this done. There is no cat cone after the operation and trust me when I say this, your cat will appreciate this.. The level of professionalism and service is second to none. I wouldn't use anywhere else. Not because they are bad, but because I trust the cat clinic with my best friend.

Best cat vet in Edinburgh! We've been going here for years, they're always super friendly and really care for the cats. As they're a cat-only vet, the cats are much less stressed then when there's dogs and other animals around.

The vets at the Cat Clinic are superb. We’ve been bringing our cats here for years, and we have always had a fabulous experience (I’m sure the cats would beg to differ). It’s super-quick to get an appointment, and I’ve never waited long, either. Being cat only, it’s less stressy in the waiting room for the cats. Good selection of cat toys and food, too.

Having been to a few different vets in Edinburgh I can safely say that this is one of the best for cats specifically. The staff are really caring and have a great 'bed side' manner for upset, worried cat owners. They obviously love the animals they treat and take great care to make sure they have found the cause of the problem. They are also good at fitting in emergency appointments and helping make the insurance claim process as smooth as possible. Highly recommend to all cat owners in Edinburgh.

My kitten had a chronic diarrea for more than 6 months when we contacted the cat clinic the first time. In no time, they addressed the issue: the problem was diagnosed soon - the medication given worked for the first time - they recommended what to do next. The cat is happy and healthy ever since. Compared to other vets, they have been absolutely upfront. During the diagnosis, instead of suggesting the cheapest option and then when inconclusive moving to more expensive and so on (at it happened with other vets), they immediately listed all the options and left the choice to me. Also, I didn't have to suggest anything - this might seem pretty obvious but again in the past I had to do my own investigations and suggest exams to do or even look for medication that I was told was inexistant and found out it was not. With the people at the cat clinic is another story: they are competent and prepared - not even once I felt like I could not trust them. Whenever I will leave Edinburgh, they are the service I will miss the most!
