The best vet in Scotland. Michael and the team always take time to explain the diagnosis and go through alternative approaches. We moved around Scotland a bit but always come back to Ardmory for annual boosters and checks. Prices are very reasonable and you never feel rushed.

Just the best vets, staff are lovely and the vets are soooo nice. The team really do care about your animals and go the extra mile, nothing is ever a hassle. Each visit you learn something new as the vets explain everything in great detail, giving you reassurance. The prices are so reasonable too, showing they dont just care about the money and they are in it for the animals. Our Arlo was pretty ill when we got him and the clinic has nursed him back to health and i wouldn't tryst anywhere else with him. Speak to any local outside waiting and they will tell you the same. Thanks so much for all you have done for our crazy boy, hes now a thriving wee menace.

Took our new lurcher puppy to Ardmory for his 2nd vaccination and so glad we did. Staff were very friendly and informative and gave great advice on how to keep our pup healthy and happy. We've now registered there and feel very reassured.

Very helpful kind & friendly vet we registered our rescue dog here in 2016 and wouldn't want to go elsewhere. I've never before had a dog who got excited when going to the vet's but Codie loves coming here. I think she has a wee crush on the vet!😂. I would highly recommend this vet

Fantastic practice Michael is so understanding with charley everyone is fantastic from start to finish . 30th January 2020. We would like to thank Michael and all the team for all their love and attention shown to our beautiful Charley 19 years old who passed away peacefully on 28 January she loved going to the practice and hanging out with them when getting tests done we couldn't have ask for any more a brilliant practice with the best team ever thanks a million for everything Ellen and Noreen

Fantastic team who take the time to understand your pets needs and come up with innovative treatment plans that work. It's important to support independent practices but after experiencing many different vets in the past, Mike and all the folk at Ardmory vets are the very best. Our previous German shepherd, Zander was 10 when we decided to switch vets and take him to Ardmory. He had joint issues and was in a lot of pain and we had basically been told there was little could be done for him by our previous vet. Mike introduced a new drug protocol and we got 3 more years of Zander behaving like he was a pup again. We wouldn't take our 2 new German shepherds and beloved parrot anywhere else. Amazingly caring team who put the animal and owner at the centre of everything they do.

Michael is truly amazing, our staff Alfie was a patient at the practice since he was 8 weeks old. Michael had so much care and compassion towards our boy. Alfie had a neurological disease and even before he was diagnosed Michael has a rough idea what it could be. From then on our boy attended the practice & nothing was ever a bother. I always knew Alfie was in the best hands. Sadly in September 2020 my boy crossed rainbow bridge, my heart is still broken. But thank you to Michael who looked after Alfie and gave him nothing but 100% care and love. Thank you to Alan, Karen, Stefanie & also Emma. You are all amazing keep doing what your doing x

Outstanding vet, extremely reasonably priced, honest, reliable and wouldn't order tests for my dog, as he said he didn't need them. He was right. Can't recommend this practice and the wonderful people who work here highly enough.

There's a lot of words I could use to describe this clinic. Fantastic, brilliant, caring and many more. My dog was very sick. She was diagnosed with cushings and diabetes. She was on a very high dosage of insulin but to little effect. Then Michael took her home for a couple of nights and got her settled. She is now back to full health running round like a two year old. I can't thank Michael and his team enough for all the effort they put in to getting her right . They are all clearly animal lovers. Thanks .

This is the best vets I have ever used in the last 10 plus years I have owned pets. Michael and his team are amazing, they explain everything clearly, simplely without talking down to you. Mick is a wonderful vet, so caring and professional. He has tended to two of my cats, including sadly helping my wee Maddie pass peacefully six years ago. More recently he has helped enormously with my more recent wee pal's nervous skin condition. She was in a terrible state last month but due to Mick, she's more or less sorted now. She's very timid and it's hard to groom her without terrifying her but while she was there he gave her a good comb and cut her nails.. she now looks fab and feels much better. Thank you so much xx

Would not take my dogs anywhere else. Michael and is team actually care about our pets. My boy was nervous for his jags so Michael massaged him and gave him the shot without him realising. This is in contrast to other vets who suggested sedation. Great price, great Morales and great people.

Very good small animal vet. One of the only vets I've found who knows ferrets well. He takes time to talk to you about your animal and explains any medicine or procedures. Highly recommend this veterinary practice.

Michael and his team are the excellent. They are the best practice to take care of your pet. Our chinchillas are looked after by them, it's hard to find vets with experience of these animals. Also they put in an extra valiant effort to try and save our youngest(3yr) chinchilla, Chilli. The care and commitment was beyond just being a great veterinary team. They genuinely care for the animals under their care. It's only a shame I can't give more stars.

Micheal was great, he showed true compassion for our pup, his advice was impartial and honest. Rocco got his first set of injections, he made the whole process seem like an everyday thin, with minimal stress, Rocco was un-phased by Micheal's checks. I would recommend without a doubt this surgery, and I will certainly be using ardmory for all future required vet trips. Thank you for all your help and advice!!

Fantastic vet! I'm certain that I owe my little ferret girl's life to them after all they did and continue doing for her (very impressed with the care they gave her when there seemed little hope), I will positively trust them with any future pets of mine! Worth travelling to since they seem to really try for the animals and thr prices aren't bad either. :)

Could not recommend this place any more. We have vets that are closer to us, but we choose to come here as the staff are amazing. Salem, our 3 month old kitten does not like the vet and gets a real attitude when he has his treatment. That being said, Michael makes him feel safe by giving breaks when needed & it's clear as day he really cares about the animals. If he just wanted his shift done he'd just rush it all. With Salem he only needed his jags and nails trimmed, but Michael made a point of stopping and playing with him in-between to make him feel as safe and comfortable as possible during a upsetting and stressful situation. I wouldn't go anywhere else, neither should you.

We use Ardmory Vets for our two pet birds (cockatiel and lineolated parakeet). They are brilliant as an avian vet, which can be hard to find. The team completely saved the life of our linnie when she got an infection at only 5 months old, and we couldn't be more grateful. They are helpful, kind and reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone!

Been coming to Michael and his team since we rescued our greyhound, Charlie, 5 years ago. They are hands down the best vets I've ever used. Michael sat on the floor with Charles at his first consultation, feeding him treats and gaining his trust, he is the Dr Doolittle of animals! Charles LOVES going to the vets because he knows that's where the biscuits are! Wonderful team who absolutely love their animals. Almost all our greyhound friends use Michael or Julie Innes in Hamilton, as these guys really are the greyhound experts. We travel from Hamilton, because the level of care and professionalism is second to none, if you need a vet and ESPECIALLY if you have a sighthound, look no further than Michael and his team!
