Our cats always return from a trip to Beechwood as happy and relaxed as if they'd never been away. Martin is helpful, communicative, and really looks after the cats. He is accommodating of their needs (one has a particular diet), and we always feel confident when they go to stay at Beechwood that they're in good hands. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I cannot thank Martin at Beechwood Cattery enough for the care and attention he gives our cat. We know she is in good hands when we are away. We had tried several cattery’s before and our cat always returned to us stressed and upset, but at Beechwood she is well cared for and nurtured. The accommodation is great, with the choice of Indoor only or outdoor space. It is clean and well maintained. The process for dropping off and picking up is straightforward and it is great value for money!

Outstanding cattery! We took our 1 year old cat to Martin at Beechwood Cattery for a 10 day stay and he returned super happy, content and confident! Martin is very generous and showed us around the cattery both as we dropped him off and picked him up. Our cat was so relaxed when we came to pick him up and it was clear he had been so so well looked after. Previously we had taken him to a much more expensive cattery where he returned distressed and meowed for days afterwards but after being at Beechwood Cattery we will not go anywhere else! Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Beechwood Cattery enough. After being allowed to look round the cattery in detail before I confirmed my booking, I felt extremely chilled and very relaxed about letting my 12 year old cat stay at Beechwood. On collection he didn’t seemed stressed at all, which he used to be when collecting him from a previous cattery. I’m convinced the reason for him being so relaxed was because he was so well looked after and received attention during his weeks stay. Also, I have never been allowed to take his own blankets, beds, toys etc., before to any other cattery, so this was a huge plus for peace of mind that he still had his own home smells, and comforts around him. I certainly wouldn’t hesitate in taking Alex to Beechwood again, first class cattery and first class service.

My cats had their 2nd holiday here in July. Martin was yet again fantastic with them. They had a lovely area where they could cuddle up to sleep and access to an outside area to run and have fun. They were well looked after and happy. Martin sent me some pics which showed them settled and calm. If you’re looking for someone to look after your fur baby/ies while you are on holiday etc then Martin is the one. My girls will be holidaying there again if I go on any more holidays. Thank you Martin. As cats do, they wouldn’t speak to me when I got them home!

My cat Lennart stayed just over a week while i was away back home, everything was brilliantly organised, very straight forward rules, drop off & pick up times and payment options. He had a spacious room and i got regular updates, which was really good, as it was his first time away from home. Will definitely 'visit' again next time i need cat boarding! 😊

I've been going to Martin at Beechwood Cattery for just under a year now. I've lived in many places and as a result have used many catterys but my bengals have never been as relaxed as they have when they come back from here! I know they're hard work, being bengals they're noisy and generally quite high maintenance so I really appreciate the patience and care that Martin gives to them. 2 very happy bengals once again, thanks!

My elderly cat needed a place to stay during a house move and Beechwood was recommended. It had been a while since she had been in a cattery so I was a little bit nervous. But Martin was lovely and reassuring. I was shown where she would be and the routine. It looked great, with lots of room, sunlight and comfy places for her to sleep. Martin also sent me some emails letting me know how she was getting on. Super reasonable price too. Would highly recommend!

I had to use Beechwood when I was flooded out of my home at extremely short notice and with no idea of how long I'd be boarding my cat there. Her stay ended up being 34 days and Martin was a great communicator throughout. Rosie came back to us happy and well-fed. She had her own cozy pen with blankets, toys, a scratching post and everything she might need. Knowing she was being cared for so well removed another layer of worry from a very stressful period for us. Thanks Martin!

Martin was great, we were in spain for 1 month (meant to be 2 weeks) as he looked after our 2 cat’s. He had no issues with taking care of them for their extended stay, he was great and we felt very relaxed that he had them as we can tell he is a cat lover and genuinely cares. He is very relaxed as well and nothing is a problem to him. We could not recommend Beechwood Cattery any higher. We appreciate everything you done. A genuine 10/10 and many thanks.

Martin is the loveliest guy and takes pride and proper care of all the cats that are there. My 7.5 month old kitten has just came from spending the week at the beechwood and shes as happy as a pig in muck. With a special thankyou to Martin as he went the extra mile on our return to Scotland we had to quarantine and martin dropped her bk off at our front door will defo use this place again in the future. 😀😀😀😀😀

I dont like leaving my cat with anyone as she is a pamperd pouch. Heather and her staff couldnt have been anymore helpful. They told me dont bring her food as we stock all the brands lol included in the price. Highly recomment great location and no daft dogs. Nothing worse than taking your cat in to discover its also a kennel.

First time putting my 6 1/2 month kittens in a cattery due to building work on my house. My kittens were very well looked after by Heather and I would have no hesitation to rebook. I would have left them longer as the work on my house is not finished however I missed them soo much

We’ve been bringing our cats here for years, Heather is amazing. You can tell she really cares about the cats, I even heard that she cooks them a turkey dinner for Christmas! All dietary requirements of your furry friends are taken into account, you have no worries leaving them here, they are in safe hands.

I always worried about placing my cat in a cattery but could not believe how relaxed and happy she was after staying at Beechwood. I have complete confidence that while I am away she is being cared for to a very, very high standard. You can tell straight away upon meeting the owner that this lady is 100% dedicated, not just to her business but to every individual cat there. I'll always be a loyal customer due to the amazing treatment my pet receives every time she stays there.

I am leaving 3 stars because Molly was clearly looked after while my partner and I were gone, as she was well groomed and not in much distress when we got her home, and nice we got free Dreamies. However, we never got shown where she was going to be sleeping in, and I wasnt happy that when I went to collect Molly, she was in her carrier alone in the woman's conservatory, not sure how long for, but we waited a good 10 minutes when we got there, and woman came back saying she was "chasing away a fox" which lessened my confidence in the place. When we got home, one of her toys were also missing, and it was the toy I first gave Molly when I rescued her and it was her comfort . I would use again only if nowhere else was available, but if I can manage IL be sticking to Kittochside cattery, not Beechwood!
