K. O.Took my dog Jerry Lee here on Saturday as an emergency after eating a chicken carcass. The staff were excellent. The vet who examined him spoke to him very calmly and examined him thoroughly. After that, a plan of action was laid out. He was treated and released later that night. They also notified my own vet. In a stressful time for Jerry Lee and myself, they excelled. Thank you

I will forever be grateful to both of you for your professionalism and experience which helped my boy massively. There is a set fee to be seen, which lets you know what to expect, and extra costs are not exaggerated.
My experience was excellent in our time of need.

M. l.My own vet sent my elderly dog here for the night. Prior to this we seriously considered putting our dog to sleep because he was so ill. The Emergency Vets were kind and straight forward advised us to hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Were very clear about the cost. Delighted to say my dog went back to my own vet and is now lying in his bed at home. Thank you so very much.¹

After a thorough examination they laid out what I should do next and undertook to contact my own vet with their findings. Overall, an excellent service and a calming approach at a time of stress. S. C.We opted to have my mothers very ill cat to be admitted to EVG over Christmas as our own vet was closed and we did not feel that we would be able to provide him with level of car that he required.
Not only did the staff at EVG care for Artie, they diagnosed the underlying cause and got him to standard of health that we only hoped that they would be able to.
The vet called us personally twice a day while Artie was with them to keep us up to date with his condition and steps that they had taken. This was very reassuring for us and the standard of care provided, not just to Artie, but to the owner as well was of an exceptionally high standard.
The information provided to us when he was discharged was again of a very high standard and was very helpful to us with regards to ongoing care etc.
I would recommend EVG to any pet owner who thinks that their pet requires a high level of care in a medical environment staffed by really nice staff who genuinely care most about their patients.

E. H.Absolutely fantastic service. We took our pup here late at night on a bank holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. He had eaten some chicken bone and wasn’t himself so we called it was suggested we take him in. We were nearly an hour away from the vets and were really understanding of our situation kept him in over night and called us updates often. The vet was fantastic and took us through all the possible outcomes and helped us with the best treatment plan. While it may be a little expensive, when in an Emergancy they could not have been any better and worth every penny to know our dog was going to be okay. Would highly recommend. (Also Mickey (our dog) loved all the staff!)

P. M.My dog was admitted for an overnight stay but I really did not expect him to last through the night. He did, and he is laying beside me here at home fast asleep. I was fully updated and informed throughout about his progress and the explanation about his condition, emergency care and the plan for ongoing treatment was thorough and clear. I'm delighted by the level of care shown to my wee dog and pleased to have been referred to EVG by my own vet. Whatever quality time Bailey now has left is a real bonus as I really thought he was gone last night and I can't thank the folk at EVG enough.
