Took my wee cat Frankie who was having big problems. The staff and lady vet, in particular was so helpful. Can't thank them enough. This has been Frankies third emergency visit in the last 3 years and don't know what I'd do without them. I had our own previous vet ,who I had for 40 years and when I needed help with Frankie in 2020 they let me down big time. Thank you again PDSA and will be in touch to make a further donation.

This is a fantastic service. They are all good with the animals and the vets are very thorough. My senior cat is ok with the vets there. Normally very timid and hates the vets. I hate to see her stressed so it's very reassuring that she isn't do scared with them. The pharmacy and admin staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend them.

I took Mr.Tiggs my rescued 13 year old feral cat who has been poorly for a wee while now. The reception staff, nurses and young vet were all very welcoming and caring, and gave me good advice on how to treat and help him. Absolutely fantastic, neighbours dog took ill on a bank holiday Monday, emergency vets wanted over 2 hundred plus vat on a card before they would even look at the dog ( money first welfare later) pdsa saw the dog right away as neighbour was on benefits welfare first and paramount, will be donating in the future first class service

Took my almost 16 Yr old bearded collie scruffy on Monday 14.3.22 to our east end PDSA after she had fallen ill the staff were absolutely incredible and very thorough...today scruffy had to attend the emergency vet again through the PDSA, apart from the heartless so and so at the vet we were treated very well and scruffy got 1st class treatment she received scans, blood tests and injections and we are very happy to say she back home with us. Outstanding work xxxx

Fantastic job they do, receptionist was so helpful absolutely lovely on telephone & when i eventually got into place. Turned up though and was kept waiting at door for 35 mins, my dog was very unsettled, this without anyone even acknowledging i had arrived, also i was paying for the appointment, so it was very rude. Even if i wasn't please let me know you know i have arrived. Not even an apology when nurse came to door & she was also quite dry. Just think loads of bad service getting put down to covid related in businesses & they are getting away with it unfortunately. But i know these are fantastic facilities that helps loads of animals.

Absolutely the most amazing staff ever!!! From vets, nurses, receptionists and voluntary staff, they've all been professional, hard working and IMO, ANGELS!!! They've been treating Cooper for the past few weeks, diagnosing his diabetes and the Royal Family couldn't have better treatment for their animals than we've had for Cooper. This service is literally a life saving service and deserves EVERY donation possible. PLEASE PLEASE donate, every penny counts, to ensure that our fur babies can be treated with professionalism, car and dignity when we are in a position where we aren't able to pay the fees from other vets.

Came to the vets couple weeks ago today. The vet Ben who we seen was the best. My fur baby was diagnosed with a tumour in her liver. He was great with her and with me was really good explaining and what was best for my cat. My puppy became very ill due to swallowing a squeker. It was touch and go but after two back to back operations, my wee guy pulled through. You can tell the staff in the PDSA really care about their job. They were attentive and amazing throughout and I cannot praise them highly enough. Very good but only one thing. When I was in the waiting room waiting for my turn to get my cat put to sleep I heard a gentleman already in the same situation only he was being seen to scream and cry. My ♥ fell I to despair hearing this especially when I was there for the same thing. Could there be a room away at the back of the building for these things where it's a bit private. Don't get me wrong ur Service is absolutely wonderful don't knowwhere people like me would be without the PDSA but that still haunts me and I've heard it more than once ♥️♥️

I would just like to thank the staff and vets ,who took time to look at my 17months old kitten last Friday her name was ,(PEANUT), and I knew she was I'll ,I couldn't figure out what was wrong with her she got checked and was given antibiotics,it was is if she was chocking ,she couldn't eat and kept being sick ,we sat up with her all night ,Saturday morning she brought up one of her cat claws ,if it wasn't for PDSA my wee kitten wouldn't be here now ,she is back to her lively self,I thank all at PDSA for their help .

Had a good experience and bad. Good thing 1. Had to bring ma partners dog for treatment many times. Bad part 1. Unfortunately the waiting is a first come first served basis so could be waiting a long time. Good part 2 unfortunately dog was so unwell had to put to sleep but they were very supportive as it was very upsetting. Bad part 2 useless for emergencies as had to take neighbours dog to normal vet and pay through the roof as a pup was injured from adult dog bite bleeding a lot in pain on a Friday and was told could only take emergency on a Sunday by which time pup could have been dead.

Took my old girl (cat 20yr old) here fully expecting to let her go as she was ill she needed an emergency hysterectomy, i didnt think she would be strong enough for the op,the vet i seen gave the old girl a health check including blood to check her kidneys before informing me that despite her problem she was in top health for her age (private vet never done this) and their every chance she would pull through ok. So a week on and mina has bounced back to her old grumpy,pushy self and I can not thank these vets enough. Great place that tells it like it is with a caring attitude. Thanks folks.

Brilliant with my dog.only criticism is that it's a voluntary donation you give but receptions quite average donation which really isn't bad at £20 but in shamrock st they actually tell you how much they wud expect you to donate..whole idea of this is because were not able to afford vet Bill's.. I gladly donate what I can but dont think it fair you are pressured into paying a certain amount and in front of everyone.so embarrassing if you cant afford it

these pdsa vets have totally regained my trust in vets after my wee pug had suffered threw a private vet after been giving the wrong eye drops this is why she had to have a eye removed by these amazing vets in the pdsa it has been a very long journey for my little pug but these pdsa vets have made this little girl pug 100 percent better she suffers from a load of health issues i cannot thank them enough these are amazing vets who really do care for the animals thank you guys use deserve mega medals for your amazing talented work you all do

It is in my experience a very good vet when it comes to the care given and the vets have always been friendly and informative but they really do have to sort out their queueing system! Both telephone & in person. Why have only one person at the reception greeting people and one answering the phone. Can't they switch over when need be? Like when I and 5 othet people behind me are standing literally for 20 mins while someone in front wants to chew the fat about things they should find out about on the phone or just google online, while the phone person just sits twiddling her thumbs as no phone calls come in. I only want to say my name and "got an appointment for 3 o clock" and be told to take a seat, that's all, as more people come in and the queue is literally out of the door. Its the distressed animals that I'm feeling sorry for, who are distressed enough just going to the vet never mind having to be forced to be inside each others personal space, the humans too are breathing down each others necks. Then the vets itself isn't very large so eventually a nurse notices the queue(they all do but act like its somebody else's problem) and asks if my name is there with my pet? I wish more people would have that sort of logic is reception phone girl. I guess I'm the only appointment the nurse has at that time & the rest are there for vets. I don't understand why they take on so many appointments at the same time or why so many people all come in for the one animal which obviously isn't the vets fault except maybe they should have a rule for only so many people accompanying an animal, then perhaps you could actually get a seat and find somewhere to put your actual pet because the big fat mum n dad, their 3 fat out of control kids & grannie & grannies pal with their even more out of control, undisciplined rottweiler won't even budge an inch to let your animal have any space and God forbid their poor big "loving pet" has to bite your animals head off because it doesn't like being looked at! But it is the east end of Glasgow after all! Having said that, it is a charity after all and its appreciated by me in the care they give, the discounted or free treatment and I'd still give them thumbs up regardless of all the other stuff however I just think if there's no alternative, fine, but if you can actually improve the system without it costing anything then why not!
