We are so glad we switched to this practice. All of the staff are so friendly and the vets are just amazing. They explain everything clearly and go in-depth when they don't need to, which is really fantastic. They are so lovely and patient with our dogs; you can definitely tell they love working with animals. Couldn't recommend this place enough. I cannot recommend the team at Hyndland Street Veterinary practice highly enough. We have had many pets over the years, they’ve cared for our cats and dogs through their whole life’s. Always excellent, always friendly and helpful. No matter the situation they are kind, helpful and you really do feel that they truly care.

We have been taking our three cats- Pickles, Meatball and Kali - here since we got them. Honestly the best vets, from the front desk. They give you genuine, honest, up front advice and they are so good. Our cat had unexpectedly had kittens (neuter your pets!) and they were brilliant and reassuring. Never had a vet surgery this good in my 15 years of pets!

I strongly recommend this vet! Always friendly, always helpful, always informative. The vets here always answer all of my questions comprehensively (even silly ones) and take all my concerns seriously. The space is clean and bright and welcoming. My cat is always perfectly calm and comfortable coming into the surgery and seems to like everyone there, though I'd imagine all the staff would deal well with anxious animals too. I always feel that they're making sure I know all of my options so I can make an informed decision.

I couldn't recommend them more, they are so so so kind and beyond accommodating. The past few months have been tough for me personally, and required a lot of flexibility in my life. This doesn't usually go down very well with places you need appointments for (vets, doctors etc) but Hyndland street have been more than understanding and really met my needs and my cat. Not only that, they're a pleasure to deal with when you're there, really lovely and put you at ease. They make a wee fuss over your pet too, so you feel and they feel quite special. I can't thank them enough for helping worry about one less thing in life. And the thing is, they don't even realise it, it's just function that way. So thank you and I'll always recommend you.

I had been to pdsa for almost two weeks and found nothing out. But vets at Hyndland Street found out more in one examination. Brilliant vets.

I walk with the aid of 2 sticks and on day of consultation a seat was provided outside for me while my cat Kassidy was being examined by vet. Both vet and nurse kept me informed throughout examination and a referral to Bearsden Small Animal Hospital was made for Kassidy to see an orthopaedic specialist before we left that day. After the consultation a taxi was called for us and Claire carried Kassidy out to taxi and settled him inside for me. Kassidy was a lot less stressed than he'd been with previous vet. All calls made to this surgery are answered in a professional manner and any follow up work is dealt with timeously. I know my cat is in good hands at Hyndland Street Vets and I highly recommend this practice.

We discovered this practice through fostering a GAL greyhound. We had an old dog of our own that was near the end of her life and our previous vet seemed to be more interested in making money than our pet's welfare. The vet Michelle, even though we were new clients, agreed to put our pet to sleep for us and did so in a very loving and dignified manner. The nurse was lovely and gentle with our girl as she passed and the receptionist was kind to us. When we are ready to get another pet, we will definitely be using this practice and recommend it to all.

I fully understand at this time we have to be extra careful, but I did object to the fact I had to stand on a street corner and give the vet particulars of what was wrong with my cat and then have to sit on a chair outside whilst my cat was treated. I was fully masked up had sanitizer with me I think it could be better thought out.

They always offer the very best care for my pet rabbit, Barbarella. Normally I only have to visit for routine vaccinations and grooming but unfortunately she was recently a bit poorly. I was there nearly every day for a week as the vets did what they could to get her back to full health and I'm very pleased to say she made a full recovery. We normally deal with Susan who handles Barbarella extremely well (finding a rabbit-friendly vet can be tricky!) and always makes a bit fuss of her. I moved away from the area a few years ago but still make the journey to Hyndland Street as I am so confident and happy with the care they offer!

I moved to Hyndland St Vets at the start of the pandemic after several friends recommended them and every single person at the practise has been utterly amazing with both of my cats. They shower them with love and affection and I know they are in safe and caring hands when I have to leave them there for any reason. A trip to the vet is a trauma but both my boys know they are in safe hands and know they will get all the cuddles they need to keep their wee chins up. But it's not just the bedside manner, the vets and nurses and receptionists at Hyndland always provide the best care and I absolutely trust that they recommend the tests and procedures that are needed. Their advice is always on hand and they go out of their way, even during the incredibly difficult times of the pandemic, to reassure me when my cat was diagnosed with kidney disease. I can't sing their praises highly enough but I think it sums it up best when I know my cats are in safe hands and I trust them completely. The very best team and if you need a vet, get yourself to Hyndland St.
