I had an appointment with this Vet today and to be fair the Vet herself, was very nice. Nothing to complain about. I can admittedly say that I was in the wrong as I am registered with another vet who I couldn't get an appointment with and due to severity of the issue with my pet and sheer desperation, I phoned an old vets (this one) that I was registered with years ago. This vets could see my pet asap. Obviously, doing what I thought was best for my pet. I took the appointment. On arrival, I was told that my pet needed an Xray due to prior surgery with my current vet, so I innocently said to the vet that I will book in with my current vet (Again non the wiser that there was an issue with visiting another vet). The vet said if my current veterinary couldn't Xray my pet soon, she could get my cat booked in Asap. Which was really appreciated. I phoned my current veterinary practice, to book in an Xray while I was in the Blantyre Vets (again innocently done, not thinking anything was bad about visiting another veterinary). The receptionist overheard my conversation on the phone and intervened while I was still on the phone. Her attitude was very rude and abrupt. The thing is, she was right about what she was saying. I never realised that I couldn't go between two vets. I was just trying to get my pet seen too asap, incase my pet's leg was potentially infected. Overall I was in the wrong by doing that, but her tone and how she handled the situation was extremely unprofessional. I was so stressed and overwhelmed because I just wanted my pet to be seen and feel better. But having a cheeky receptionist rudely interupt me while I am on the phone, tellling me that I am in the wrong, in the most confrontational manner, was just so upsetting. If she had waited till I was off the phone and had a polite professional tone, then I would have accepted it alot better. But no one comes to a veterinary practice to be spoken to like that. There is two receptionist one who brings her dog to work and the one everyone has written a review about. It's such a shame because the veterinary practice is fine. The receptionist just needs to perhaps think about the way she conducts herself professionally as she works with the general public & more than half of the time, owners are bringing in sick pets, who are already stressed about this. The receptionist doesn't need to be adding anymore additional stress on top of that. She perhaps needs to consider another job if she isn't happy with dealing with the general public or change her attitude before it does escalate higher than one of the many negative reviews she has had. This review isnt just blame, blame, blame as I do understand I made a mistake on my side but the approach to dealing with it all, was certainly not done nicely. She even ended it with saying that I wont be returning to the veterinary again. You would have thought I was being aggressive towards her, or had stole pet goods with the way she said it. As though I had done something extremely bad. It was so unnecessary and all very disappointing.

My dog was due his booster and health check... did not have to wait long for the appointment...very happy with service provided...the vet put my dog at ease and was happy with advice given ..would highly recommend

I have just read a bad review regarding Lynn the receptionist. I am shock and disgusted at the comments. Lynn has been at the surgery for years and has always went above and beyond for clients. She is always helpful and an overall nice person. People are being horrible and forget how comments affect people. Its bullying. I couldn't have had better experiences with Lynn and I want her to know that. I appreciate you and your hard work.

Excellent veterinary practice. Lyn on reception is pleasant, helpful and very professional. Emma the vet has been looking after my old dog to a very high standard that I am delighted about. I have been attending this practice for many years and highly recommend coming here if your looking for exceptional care for your pet.

Brilliant information and help, caring and eager to help with advice or treatment to your furry family members. Literally got the diagnosis of my cat having diabetes within 5 minutes of seeing her, this was confirmed after blood tests, but a simple check and a smell of my cats breath and we had an answer to her problem. That is knowledge that reassures me that I have my pets under the care of a practice that know what they are doing. Totally recommended.

Emma the vet is always very helpful and Jayne the nurse is excellent with the 'fat cat' club. Managed to get emergency appointment at short notice and when needed to go back same day as stitches out, another appointment with no trouble. Great team.

Darcy went for her yearly vaccinations. The vet was very pleasant and caring. She examined Darcy thoroughly and was very patient as Darcy is a very wriggly wee dog. The receptionist was friendly too. Would highly recommend. Thank you

My dog was taken to another vet whilst I was on holiday who failed to figure out what was wrong with him. As soon as I returned I took him to pets n vets who correctly diagnosed and treated an illness which is often fatal. Great team there.

Good doctor but the reception staff could use some training, not professional manner. They also ditch you if you are 5min late, but bag no issue keeping you waiting like 30 min if you arrive on time.
