Had been advised to pts kara after a rta with a van, due to her hind leg being crushed and front leg degloved and unstable, Ross was amazing, he took brilliant care of kara and was confident he could operate, I'm so glad we did, we are now 2 yrs on, kara is walking on all 4 legs and back to being the happy, bouncy collie that she was, thank you 🐶🐾🐾

I have had my rabbits going to McDonald Vets for over a year now. I have always felt the staff put your animals first and strive to make your interactions with clinic as positive/professional as possible. I love the PetsApp for contacting the practice and have never felt I am being a bother. When calling the clinics, the receptionists are just lovely! I am extremely pleased with the Roundhouse Veterinary Hospital (and other McDonald Vet practices) and I am very thankful my bunnies have them to rely on!

The Roundhouse Vet hospital saved my rabbit when he had gut statis and stopped the progress of a parasite that could have left him disabled. They quickly diagnosed arthritis in my other bunny. The vets are kind and knowledgeable, give great advice and the reception team are really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Molly our 1 year old lab was booked in to be spayed by key hole surgery. Emma the vet was excellent she explained exactly what to expect and took to Molly straight away. From start to finish I could not fault the experience. Staff where excellent and would highly recommend them

The vets here have provided care for my cats for about 3 years now, they have always been friendly and very competent in handling them (including one of my cats who is very nervous). The practice itself is very clean and comfortable, it also has separate areas for cats and dogs which I really appreciated.

I had the terrible task of putting to sleep my fur baby and best friend. He was everything to me and my family,Jet was a lovable lab retriever and we had the honour and privilege of having him in our life’s for nearly 13 years. At this awful time the vets her were absolutely amazing, and gave my baby the dignity he needed and deserved A lovely room to sit and cry buckets of tears and he was treated with love from start to finish. I did not get the names of the 2 lovely girls who treated my boy I think one was Julie. Both girls were first class and me and my family ( 2 grown up kids, who knew jet as there everything ) turned up also to say goodbye, and it was not a problem. Lovely paw prints taken and presented in cards a lovely touch. Thank you once again for making this hardest day of my life so much better by providing my gorgeous boy with the ending he deserved. Many many thanks.

The place is lovely. Staff are great but i had to pay £75 pound fot 5 tablets and a prescription and was told to get the medication on internet. Its cheaper. I think they charge to much because they no how much we love our pets. Pets for us is cheaper.

Rachel in reception was so very very helpful in what was a very difficult choice. She helped us arranged to put our big old boy, our malamute odin, to sleep when his behaviour changed and he became unpredictable. Unfortunately odin had began biting and got family members quite badly, broken hand or stitches. Sadly it turns out odin had cancer which is why he probably changed. Rachel organised for us to collect medication to calm him prior to leaving home, alice (sorry, i think) the vet, came out to the car and gave him some more Sedation because of his size, he was easily 90kg!! It was painless and peaceful for our boy at the end and im so very grateful to everyone at the practice that helped him over the rainbow bridge and back to my mum.

Couldn't be more pleased with how we and our pet were treated here during an early morning emergency as a new patient. Covid measures were in place and very good. We felt safe and happy to leave our beloved pet overnight to be cared for. If you want the very best then this seems to be the place, we will be returning here as our dedicated veterinarian. The follow-ups and consistency has been above reassuring for us. Every staff member has been fantastic, giving us 100% of their time and attention. They really seem to care about their patients and are confident in their jobs.

On balance, would recommend if no other options are available. Our dog managed to break his tooth on Friday night, and we had to take him in on Saturday. On the plus side, we were able to make an appointment, and the vet who spoke to us on the phone was professional and kind. It seems that our dog received good care, as far as we can tell. On the other hand, the communication is awful and really not sufficient, and the reception staff is not doing a good job explaining what is happening. We had an appointment at 1 pm, arrived at 12.50 and were told to wait "in our car". Well, we don't have a car - not everyone does, and it's silly to assume that all clients would be driving. So we stood in the cold (there's no waiting area of any sort outside) for an hour, my shaking dog (in pain) in the gusts of cold wind. During the pick up, the situation repeated itself. We were told he'd be ready as 5.20 pm, arrived shortly after that time and couldn't get anyone on the phone (because of Covid you have to ring while standing outside), finally got someone to answer good 20-30 min later, were told it'll be "a wee minute" by the receptionist, so kept the taxi meter running. Another half an hour later had to call and ask whether we should let our taxi go, and were not given a particularly sympathetic response by the receptionist. Why not call and just let us know that "a wee minute" is turning into a significant wait? I couldn't feel my feet from the cold at the end of it. Just better communication would've changed so much. Any attempt at providing the information on the estimated wait times.

Great staff and done an amazing job on our girl who was hit by a van. PDSA wanted to put her down and amputate her rear leg. We took her to Roundhouse for 2nd opinion. They have saved her and her leg and now she's on the road to recovery. Can't praise the staff enough phone calls everyday to let us know how she was and even sent pictures and videos of her to us. Amazing 👏

We took our two cats to Pets n Vets and had Helen check them over. She was so friendly and made the cats (and us!) feel at ease. We were given great advice and all our questions were answered thoroughly. The treatments they received (vaccinations and flea/worming) were not expensive and seemed a reasonable for keeping your pets healthy. We also had a couple of questions that we emailed to the surgery, which were answered promptly by Fiona with a phone consultation. Again she was friendly and so helpful and again I left feeling relaxed! This is my first time dealing with a vet without my parents (first pets as a grown up!) and I don’t see us going anywhere else.

He was so well cared for both at Queens Park and the Roundhouse, where he went for further tests and investigations. Great Vet , took my baby down today , they told me straight , she was very poorly and might not last through tests / operations at cost anything from 1k upwards , so best thing for her was to put her out her pain , was hard but best thing to do , didn’t try to take loads money off me , like some vets out there . Highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital. After a very frightening morning with our labrador, we were seen to immediately and Ciaron set out minds at ease. His explanation of our dogs diagnosis was so easy to understand and we can't thank him enough for speaking to us with warmth and understanding the way he did. The nurses who our family communicated with through the phone (due to covid) were also phenomenally nice, treated our dog with as much love as we would have and had so much time to answer questions. Every vet we've seen since, including on their video call app, have all been amazing too. Thank you all so much for your hard work.

We move veterinary practice a couple of years ago after feeling like the last vet was out for money (our cat has a long term health condition). Chris and the Staff at Pet'n'Vets were wonderful. Very reassuring about our cat's condition and very supportive about the right course of treatment. A good honest vet with good morals and great customer care. You wont be fleeced by them!

The Roundhouse saved my girl Ceejay's life in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. She had pyometra and had to be rushed there in the middle of the night. The surgeon was amazing and managed to save her despite her being 12 years of age. She went on to live another year which was so special because we spent the whole time at home with her. Unfortunately she had to be put to sleep March of this year because she couldn't pass urine and there was nothing the vet could do for her. I'm so happy it was at the Roundhouse because they helped make the hardest day ever more bearable. Many people say you shouldn't be there when your pet is put to sleep but I'm glad we were there. The vet was so good with her and with us. I could tell Ceejay liked her. When she was put to sleep we sat on the floor with her with blankets and it was so peaceful. One of the things that was heartwarming is that we got a clipping of Ceejay's hair and a paw print which was done after she was gone but the vet was so kind and treated her with respect, like she was still alive and although I was beside myself in tears that meant a lot to me and I'll always think of the vets fondly for that reason. We have since gotten a puppy called Juno and we signed her up to the Roundhouse without hesitation and she has already had a visit. She seems happy with them too, she gave the vet a lot of kisses! The good thing about the vets is that because they cared so much for Ceejay, I don't associate them with her death but more with a place where she was safe and looked after.

Great well equipped hospital. Great staff and appointments are on time. Great waiting area and very modern looking. Also has a separate desk for pet pharmacy as well. Nice clean surgeries and vets are very thorough and give a good deal of information regarding your pet.

These guys literally saved my dogs life! He was so very sick we were sure we had lost him. They kept us informed of his progress and our options (and realistically how much these may cost). A modern facility with advanced procedures spearheaded by 'supervets' who offer hope and skills within the Glasgow area. Following a broken leg my French bulldog was cared for in a professional manner akin to a human hospital with night nurses and day care updates and only discharged when the time was right. Grateful thanks to all the staff ..vets, receptionists and nurses. Harry is in rehab but has a good chance of recovery after a successful orthopaedic procedure.

And their puppy starter kit is brilliant inclusive of discounted puppy classes and grooming with their neighbours at Wizard of paws and more importantly discounted vet check ups and treatment. the circumstances we visited the roundhouse were devastating but the staff who were on the night we had to deal with the worse were fantastic. They treated Molly with respect and kindness but they were extremely supportive and gave us the time we needed to process the situation. The aftercare provided to us was really thoughtful. Cant thank them enough for their patients. The vet who had only just Molly and the family was very considerate and made this very difficult time somewhat easier Would recommend based on the care for our 'babies' and customer service to the family

These guys are always so good with my bunnies. One of them doesnt keep well and has to visit often its never a problem to squeeze us in when needs be and everyone is super friendly. The new hospital is great and separate waiting rooms is a great idea, means i can keep my buns away from all the dogs that would scare them. Oh and coffee while you wait is just the icing on the cake!

Pets and vets saved my cat in 2007; one of my terrapins in 2010 and have cared for my accident prone greyhound since 2011. Staff are great, all of the, even young temporary trainees, and everyone gives the impression they really care about every animal. Not ripping folk off regarding fees also important. Have recommended practice to lots of people.
