I had the unfortunate accident of my dog being bitten by another dog, and the complex situation of being new in the area therefore with no registered vet. Rouken Glen Vets were amazing in their response time as this was an emergency, disregarding if my dog was registered or not, he was seen within the next hour, and received amazing treatment, from a very kind vet and great front staff. I’d recommend this vet wholeheartedly. It’s very good to know that there is a vet that can offer amazing services with caring and genuine staff members. This accident allowed me to decide which vet should I register my pet with - and it is definitely this one! I would give 6 stars but 5 is the maximum :).

The best vets ever they went above and beyond for my rabbit cookie thanks to Karen and Dermot for having just a little faith when all the odds wer stacked against they gave it there all they are the reason I still have my cookie bunny today they truly are my heros and I can't thank them and all the other staff enough I totaly recommend them they don't see just rabbit like most they see a life like any other and treat it just as good and that these days is priceless so thank you from the bottom of our hearts from cookie bun his best friend mog and all there's hoomans too xxx

Lovely atmosphere, staff at all levels who genuinely care and I’ve had an exceptional experience with this vet as my dog was diagnosed with cancer and referred on to a specialist. Emma definitely went above and beyond with her support (and knowledge) through the referral process which made a very emotional diagnosis a little bit more manageable.

We've recently changed to rouken Glen around 3 months ago due to very bad experience with Vets4Pets in which they told us to either pay up or they'd dump our dog who they received from emergency vets on the streets then tried to charge us for drugs and fluids that the emergency vet had already supplied them! Anyway since changing to Rouken Glen we have had two incidents one with our eldest chow chow fozzy in which he was recovering from an MRI for an on going Spinal issue in which they were great managed to get him and checked up no problem all. Recently we had an incident where two of our dogs got into a fight and we were afraid they had damaged ones eye. The vet seen us the same day. Put our mind at ease and did everything not only quickly but also clearly explaining each step. They've never had issue with us paying our excess and claiming from our insurance and they've also allowed us to defer payments as I'm sure you're well aware with everyone struggling at the moment a sudden £400 vet bill can be quite difficult to manage all at once! Bonus is they are in the park so the dogs are always excited to go see them! Even if they don't know it 😂. Overall I'm really happy we switched and hope our experience there is just as it has been, perfect.

I rescued an Alaskan malamute cross 3 years ago ...I took it here to get registered and a health check up ..I remember Dermot the veterinary asking me loads of questions especially if I had had this breed before and his look of concern when I had said this was my first dog( found out later novices shouldn't have this breed) ..but he gave me loads of useful tips to get him settled and for me to get use to being a new pet owner in these 3 years I have had loads of concerns and worries and each time I have been able to call and I have been given advice or suggestions over the phone or they have gave me the next available appointment and check my 43kg pooch who is the worst patient ever over ...over 3 years down the line with help of this vital veterinary clinic me and my boy are doing amazing and I would no longer call me a novice...more a quick learner my storm is the best thing that has ever happened to me I never wanted pets or kids ...but my decision done in haste was the best one I have ever made and this team of experts ensure that I will always have vital support and I would recommend them to anyone novice ,expert and all animal lovers

My dog has problems with her ear. They have treated her twice and no improvement. I was there recently and again they gave her steroid tablets.Her ear is still largely swollen and annoying to both her and me.I feel as though they want a quick fix and not looking at the underlying problem.

Moved my dog to rouken glen vets a couple of months ago. He went in to be neutered today and i was very anxious as my dog absolutely hates the vets and starts to panic whenever hes near one (especially as im not allowed in with him because covid).The vets were brilliant with him and managed to ease him which is an absolute first and were able to complete the procedure which i was so happy with as the previous vets i was with told me they would never be able to do because of his nervousness around vets! A big thank you to all the staff for being so kind and caring and doing an amazing job for my dog! Best decision ever moving to these vets and they never let you feel like anything is impossible with your pet. Thank you to nurse claire for calming him down as soon as we got there this morning!! Highly recommended.

We have 2 sight hounds these guys are great. They are gentle and care about animals. The practice isn't foolishly money grabbing like some commercial vets we made the mistake of visiting when new to the city. I am a loyal customer and would recommend these guys in an instant.

Excellent. I was recommended to this practice after being very let down by another practice when my cat died 4 years ago. The care and support I received from Richard and his staff for both me and the brother of my cat who died 4 years ago was just so different and has restored my faith in the profession. My cat Benni was19 years old and had a very happy life, thanks to Richard, Alannah and the team he had a peaceful death in his home. They even followed up with more support for me. I cannot praise them enough.
