Very warm welcome on arrival with Toby our Cocker Spaniel .The staff are very professional and put us at ease this being his first visit.We will be happy to bring Toby back for future visits .Thanks to all the staff Helen and Zara Anderson

After reading the most recent review I was very disappointed to see someone had such a 'bad experience' with the kennels. I have been using Valley Kennels for years and can only express happiness at the care my dogs have been given. Contrary to this prior review, it states nowhere on the site, nor have I been misled to believe my dog's would be getting a 2 hour walk every day. The girls assured me my dogs would be walked on a rotational basis. One of my dogs (an old boxer named Hugo) has a number of medical issues, and takes a lot of looking after. The list of medication and feeding requirements were followed to a 'T' and I was assured by my vet, on return from his holiday, that he had clearly been well looked after and had not looked in better shape. Also, I find the fee extremely reasonable in comparison to other kennels I have heard of, and to a lot of dog walking services. I have viewed the kennels throughout all their 're-vamping' and it's definitely of very high quality. In conclusion, I would highly recommend, and have done, this kennels to anyone who is looking for somewhere their dogs will be well looked after.

Great facility, currently very well configured for Covid safety. All the groomers are very professional & fab - even with a 50Kg German Shepherd who is a serious wimp and not a fan of getting a haircut! 😀

I have had my dogs boarded at Valley Kennels many times during recent years and have always been pleased with the care they give. The dogs go in waggy tails and come out tired but happy after running around the paddock with friends and going for a daily walk. The staff are kind and helpful.

Gerald Toal; I just read your review. You are a mixed up individual! Valley Kennels and all the wonderful team look after my dog and my friends dogs with distinction; have done for years. They are 100% professional and trustworthy and always put the health and wellbeing of their clients ahead of money. I read your review in a very positive light; to hear the team declined your money to protect my big angel from the possibility of mange does not surprise me one bit; in fact I would expect no less. Well done team; I know I don't have to worry about what's happening behind closed doors when unintelligent and selfish people like Gerald Toal inadvertyently give you a glowing write up! Thanks for all the many safe and happy years our big gal has enjoyed at Valley Kennels; only the best for us!

Just put my 9 months old Hungarian Vizsla into valley kennels for the first time - he normally comes back from kennels looking a little bit stressed out, but not here - picked up a very happy, healthy pup. He had clearly had lots of attention and exercise, and a very waggy tail!

This is the best kennels and cattery ever for our dog and cat. The staff are welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. They will keep you updated if there are any issues with your pets while on holiday which is so reassuring. They also post pictures of your pet on social media so you can see them enjoying themselves. They did wonders with my nervous dog and helped settle her with dogs and people. We can go on holiday and relax knowing our pets are safe and well looked after and they also have under floor heating for when it's cold. They also offer daycare. They are all fabulous and so knowledgeable.

Been taking my rescue dog to daycare at Valley Kennels for 3 years and can't praise the staff enough. My dog can be nervous around new people and situations yet loves going there and they always go the extra mile to ensure she happy including giving her her own paddling pool when it hot. Quite a few friends have used it for daycare and regularly for holidays and also speak very highly of Valley and say how much their dogs seem to enjoy themselves in comparison to other places they have used.

My two dogs have stayed here numerous times and always come back very happy. Staff very friendly and knowledgable. Love that they upload photos of the animals to Facebook so you can see them when you are away. My dogs are so comfortable here and I feel they are in the best hands. Wouldn’t put them in anywhere else.
