Great vets practice. Always able to get an appointment when needed (even during lockdown) and Debbo the vet is professional, friendly and clearly cares for his animal patients. I will always take my cat and hens here if they are needing treatment. Highly recommended

Absolutly great and amazing service, from start to finish, we use both abbydale and Hucclecote vets as they are linked, if we can't get to see a vet in one they always find us another option in the other. All of the staff are polite and understanding in both branches, and show care and kindness to all pets. The vets also word things in ways that the average human being can understand rather than using complex vetinarian terms that only they would know. The receptionist at both abbydale and Hucclecote are extremely helpful, they are always happy to answer any questions, if they don't know they always find out there and then from the vet. They are also very happy welcoming people, not only to me but to the pets too. I would reccomend aas to anyone with a pet. Always relieved 5* service.

I had my first cat in 1980. Since then I have owned 21 cats and rescued hundreds. I am a knowledgeable and experienced cat-owner. I have never experienced a veterinary practice more caring and professional than this one. A few years ago my male cat "Spotty" was very ill and had to be euthanised. Rather than just shave the cat's paw and inject a full dose of barbiturates - which I have seen many times (and witnessing the shocking instancy of death), Michael gave him a sedative dose, which was gradually increased. It allowed me to stroke the animal and say my last goodbye. I was then asked if I was ready for him to be put to sleep. It was a very dignified and peaceful end. I was upset obviously- but greatly impressed by this sensitive approach to a difficult procedure. Michael is the best veterinary surgeon I have ever experienced. The level of care throughout the practice is first-class. Ps. If you love your pet you need pet insurance. Pets (like life) cost money...

I'm so glad I met these Vets. Not only are they incredible at what they do, but they are really friendly! I have two dogs, who both needed to be spayed. I could hardly see the surgery cut, and today I only see the scar if I REALLY look for it. Both my girls seemed completely unconcerned that they'd been operated on, so I can only assume that's a good thing! Again, highly recommended, and have encouraged my parents and friends to join with their pets, which they've done and are just as happy as I am. No issues, whatsoever. I hope I rarely have to go to the vets, but I feel like my pets are in very safe hands.
