S. C.The staff everytime I go is lovely. The vet was brilliant and make you feel welcome. I have been to other vets and the treat you poorly and you can tell it is all money. This vets are so welcoming and genuinely care for not only your pet but you too. With regards to the appointment for my cat, they not only prescribed the problem, but let me know my cat was healthy and answered any questions I have. I would always take my pets here. Thank you

M. R.Very friendly and helpful veterinary practice. The receptionists were compassionate and very understanding during a difficult time. A special thanks to the vet Mr Singh for his knowledge and calming professionalism, when we had to make the difficult decision to put our Staffy, Angel, to sleep. The staff made the process a little easier and helped us get through a tough time. We did not feel rushed saying our goodbyes and were asked if we would like Angel’s paw prints taken which we received in the post with a beautiful card. A memorial candle was lit upon leaving the consultation room which was a nice touch. If we get another dog we shall be using Vet4Pets at Stoneferry. We cannot fault the veterinary practice and would definitely recommend taking your pet there.
D. C.Previous vets in Hull; Kingston in particular, Main priority is money. Spent thousands with Kingston(insured) I was 10 mins late for appointment; Traffic. They wouldn’t see my dog, Even though he was in pain( I mean think about that!) Ever since being with Vets4Pets, Straight away I noticed it’s not all about the money with them. I’ve been twice and both times be pleasantly surprised with the care of my dogs and asa customer.

I.I am so pleased with the experience I’ve had at this vets. They rushed to get my puppy in when he was poorly and we’re so good with him. Dev in particular was incredible, he was so good with him and didn’t want to push my pup to cause any fear when he wasn’t feeling well. Whilst being so reassuring to me at the same time. He explained everything that he was doing and answered all of my questions. Every single member of staff I spoke to while Ernest was poorly were fab. The reception staff had tissues ready when I was upset and worried and each time we visited they greeted Ernest with his name which just showed how much they care. I’m so thankful they got my pup sorted quick and back to his usual happy self.
M. H.The vet/nurses really do a great job here with my cats and I’m always satisfied when I leave. However my cat was booked in for his castration early morning so the building was closed, rang the bell close to our appointment time and no response. We were waiting outside for way too long with my very scared cat.. baring in mind there is VERY busy and noisy traffic outside and road works… this made my cat absolutely terrified and probably made his experience a whole lot worse than it needed to be. We were still waiting at 8:45 which was supposed to be our appointment time. You’d think they would be aware of how loud the traffic is, especially at that time in morning. Other than that, they are all really friendly and helpful! Overall would recommend.

S. T.Had our first appointment here on 5th November. We took our 7 year old staffy who has suffered from birth with allergies. We were previously at Kingston vets in Thorngumbald, and although they are good, the prices are ridiculous. With 4 staffies , one with a dodgy eye, one with Cushings disease and one with allergies constantly and the oldest, who thankfully has no illnesses gets a tad expensive. Vets for pets is £15 cheaper per dog than Kingston vets for their annual boosters. My little staffy had a consultation and the vet prescribed the highest dose of apoquel ( previously we were only given 5.4mg) and I bought loads of them at over £300. Waste of money. So, all on all I am really pleased with our first visit. My poor pooch has stopped itching and scooting her arse all around my conservatory carpet!!

F.Both our Rabbits are currently registered here, and though you might wonder about the quality of a veterinarian practice within a pet shop, all the staff I've ever had dealings with here are genuinely lovely and care so much about the animals they see. Always a friendly face on reception and the vets themselves are fantastic with our pets.
Obviously this practice is aimed at smaller animals due to its size but I can't recommend them enough. Excellent plans available for small animals to help save money on potential visits.

M. S.Myself and my husband cannot thank the staff, nurses, shop floor staff and Vets who treated our dog Denny after he had been bitten by another dog. They got him in straight away and attended to him to alleviate his pain and discomfort.
They were all totally wonderful and I and my husband are so grateful for their assistance when Denny, our dog couldn't walk, they stretchered him in.
They are all just brilliant.

R. S.I took my puppy for his first visit I was slightly anxious about his vaccinations. The staff were all super friendly and the vet was so lovely with my puppy. I asked her lots of questions and she offered me lots of advice. The reception staff were equally lovely and helpful .

W.It was our first visit to vets 4 pets with my dog Toby who is now 10 years old I recommend them highly I phoned up to explain about my pet and asked if they had any appointments I explained what was wrong and the lady on the reception asked me if I could come in the following day I was very highly satisfied on how quick I was able to get an appointment once I arrived I was not waiting very long and the vet came out to ask what was wrong why I have brought him in I explained she took him into the room spent a good 10 minutes or so with him and then brought him back to us and told us exactly what was wrong and explained the treatment he had an ear infection it its only been 4 days And Toby’s ears are clearing very well looking forward to another visit even if it is just for a checkup

They were the only one who made an effort to get my puppy seen and who seemed interested in helping me. Treatment was efficient and he is now feeling better so thank you

E. L.My dog was due annual booster and check up. He is very anxious dog with strangers, does not settle and becomes very agitated. When booking the appointment the receptionist assured me that they deal with many similar dogs and I was not to worry. I was given clear instuctions regarding procedure when arriving for the appointment in lieu of Covid restrictions. End result - everything went smoothly and my dog had a full check up. Vet and associated staff were courteous and showed a caring nature throughout.

O.Vets for pets at stoneferry road were amazing. My rodent had an operation and the entire cost of the consultant, medication and operation was £220. This was over £100 less than Kingston vets. They cleaned my pet up so well. She recovered wonderfully. They even rang me the next day to see how she was. Excellent care and manners from the amazing staff!
A.The receptionist was very efficient and polite. The vet was lovely and kind, and could tell she really cares about the animals she treats. She explained everything really well

T.My baby girl suffered a spinal injury and they was all kind and compassionate the vet gave me chance to try and see if she improved without sticking unnesscary charges or false hope on myself and my family. He treated her and myself with dignity and respect. He gave us chance to get her home pain free for few days so the children could say bye to her. When she deteriorated with little hope of recovery he didn't give us false home or charge us stupid prices in stead he offered a calm and loving place to say our goodbyes and end her suffering. He was so loving with her in her final minutes and the after care was truly heart felt. In the saddest of time an during a heart breaking choice to lose a member of our family the vet supported us to give her a pain free peaceful loved goodbye.

S.All of the staff were fantastic and treated us with compassion and sympathy throughout the entire process from initial injury assessment through to x-rays and explanations of extent of injuries and potential costs as well as possible implications to our animal in the future. Unfortunately we had to let our boy go due to severity of his injury as we felt that the only reasonable surgical option would have had a negative impact on his future quality of life. We didn't make this decision easily but we all agreed that it was the right course of action for our boy. We were given the time we needed and felt that the staff couldn't have done anything more for either us or our boy.

S. F.Explained issue over the phone, got a call back to collect something to help get a sample, took sample next day and received medication within 15 minutes. Did not have to stress my animal and take in as they were attentive and asked many questions on the phone
E. G.We brought our 12 years old hamster in for her nails to be clipped. The staff were lovely and despite the hamster being nervous they handled her brilliantly and dealt with her nails swiftly. My daughter felt that they really cared about our pet because of their friendliness and it helped them both feel at ease.

S.Given current circumstances around covid 19 the staff from the front door to the staff in the vets was brilliant, the store was under new guidelines to keep social distance and only so many were allowed in at one time. The reception staff made sure our labrador was entertained during our wait with plenty of treats, the vet was very professional came to collect pennie from 1 of 2 designated vet waiting areas and he had full PPE on there was barriers around the store to keep your distance from staff and customers.
The vet took pennie off me in the waiting area and he took her in the room did her full health check and gave her the requested vaccinations and he came out the room with pennie and he gave his virdict from the full Mot and we was sent to pay which was great!
We then wondered around the shop so pennie could pick a new toy and she walked it to the till to be bought then decided to have a massive poop outside the shop door, as embarrassing as it was for me the staff couldn't have helped me more thankyou stoneferry for making someone with clinical depression and severe anxiety feel normal in this time of need I cannot thank you enough... M. G.I started using this vet just under a year ago after reading the facebook reviews but just wanted to add to the google reviews as I don't feel the rating reflects the quality of the practice, in my opinion.
Last year I had a 13 year old Cocker spaniel who I had never settled on any particular vet throughout his life because I just didn't receive good service, advice, treatment for whatever reason so was not loyal to any vet. Anyway I took my spaniel and he was seen by Dev who took time to explain everything, unfortunately my dog had developed a brain tumor a few months later and had to be put to sleep, this was my second visit to this vet and Dev was great throughout this painful process too.
Since then in November my lovely partner got me a puppy who has so far had 4 trips to the vet 3 for vaccinations, micro-chipping and worming/flea treatment and once this morning for a bit of care for an upset stomach. I called with a bit of a concern and was told I could see the vet within 15 minutes so we went and Dev made the time to see us and again explained everything.
I find Dev to be kind, professional and informative, the receptionists are always helpful and friendly too. Needless to say I have found the vet I want to stick with for the foreseeable future.

He treats Rolo (Chocolate Labrador) & Bobbi (Greyhound) and I trust him completely. On this occasion, I saw his colleague to treat Rolo's ear infection. Rolo is much better and in the process of ear drops.
