N. J.Always friendly, professional and very attentive and kind with my cats. Always willing to offer advice and very reassuring. We saw a lovely nurse (who I unfortunately didn’t get the name of) who put my very scaredy cat at ease, he didn’t even hide behind the computer monitor on this occasion.
I have never experienced anything but exceptional service from this clinic.
A. M.Brought our dog in for an emergency appointment at 9pm on Saturday. Everyone was so lovely and we felt like our Misty was so well looked after while she spent the night in an unfamiliar place. Unfortunately she had to be put to sleep the next day at a different vets, we wished we could have stayed at Vets 4 Pets but this sadly wasn’t the case
J. P.Very friendly receptionist. Very good communication to explain everything. Vet was knowledgeable and took time to connect and was interested in my kitten
L. G.They staff are very kind towards owners and pets. The vet I saw on the morning of the operation was clear in explaining everything to me and put my mind at ease since I was nervous about my cat having an operation. During the post-op appointment 2 days after, the nurse (I believe) was very caring and gentle with my cat and even gave her a little cuddle. The nurse had a look at her scar and it is healing very nicely which made me feel even better about choosing vets4pets, I know she was in good hands during her operation. Thank you for taking care of my baby!
A. C.Tilly, our saluki cross, is cared for so well by the team at the Kirkstall surgery. They explain things well and no question is too stupid - and I ask a lot of them. I’d 100% recommend.
K. H.The vet was very thorough explaining exactly what each dog was being vaccinated against, as it changes from year to year. She weighed them both and commented on one's weight gain, which I need to keep in check. She managed to do injections and kennel cough vaccine without additional restraint of the dogs (usually one is a bit of a wriggler for kennel cough) and wrote a prescription for flea treatments, taking great care to ensure she was selecting the correct item. She was also very gentle handling each dog to minimise their stress.
T. G.Lovely service by the nurses and vets and made my little puppy mollie feel happy and excited. I also loved how they adored mollie and say she was very cute and a happy chilled pup the service their was absolutely

G. R.My dog loves going to the vets here. The receptionists are always helpful and the vets have always been lovely and good at explaining what's happening. Last visit, we needed to get a Kennel Cough jab at the last minute and they fitted us in same day.
c. c.I phoned to ask for advice on insurance for my pet cat and spoke to a lady named Sharon. She took the time to go through and discuss things with me and was really friendly, helpful and kind. I really appreciated it and believe we should really praise Good service when we get it so thank you Sharon!
N. S.First visit to a vet. Booked two 15 min slots for both my guinea pigs as part of a well being check. The piggies were in and out in probably 7 minutes max and I was charged 65 quid. That equates to 9 pounds a minute! It might be my general ignorance about vet pricing but I was a bit gobsmacked!
The staff were fine to deal with. Would have been nice if I could have accompanied the pets and discussed more about their care. But sitting outside in a cubicle, can’t really discuss much. I thought I paid for a 30 min consultation when I initially booked it.
Might try elsewhere next time.
C. G.I've always found the practice very good. Recently I took a relatives cat to another branch for a routine appointment; sadly they failed to inform me that nobody was allowed in, so I was stood in a car park for an hour in the rain. The staff also treat customers like they were lepers.
Kirkstall however is not like that at all; the staff are doing well at making sure people feel comfortable; the fact that you can enter the consultation room with your pet is also very nice. I'm sure many people take comfort in that
D. A.Difficult to get to if you're disabled as it's upstairs on mezzanine floor, and no lift
Later found out there is a lift!!!!, Receptionist told me there wasn't when I asked and I hadn't seen it on first visit

L. Y.I won't lie, they're not cheap. However, they have the right resources to help even the most desperate of pets. My cat was hit by a car earlier in the year and broke one of his back legs. Somehow crawled back home with the broken leg (!). He needed orthopedic surgery, which was crazily expensive. Called a few vets and they said they didn't have access to orthopedic surgeons. Compared the prices of Vets4Pets for orthopedic surgery to those other places offering it in Leeds, and it's slightly cheaper. Surgeon did a wonderful job, and despite my cat being too-eager to get back on his feet again, he's healed up fine.
I also neutered said cat with them, and they did an excellent neat job. Overall very reliable.
J. S.I'm very happy with the treatment received from the vet who took care of Henry. She explained what is going to happen and gave me an estimate. On the day of the appointment I received a couple of calls with updates and to confirm which options of treatment I want to go with. Thank you Christina!

B. N.I love this vets. They really seem to care about the animals you bring in. I used to be registered at V4P in Bramley but when this opened I moved - it's closer. They've been very supportive when I've brought my cats in for vaccinations, as well as potential injuries. Its online booking service is a bit hit n miss. But I can get in promptly when needed. They're now closed on Sundays so it's worth noting that.
Z.The lady in reception noticed the children of a fellow pet owner were disturbing my kitten and she took ownership of the matter and put me and my kitten at ease. I was very happy with the way she dealt with the issue. Thank you again :)
A. D.Can't praise the vets enough! 10 out of 10 for animal care, accuracy of diagnosis and prompt treatment. Our dog have had many episodes of diarrhoea for the last 18 months and other vets were only treating symptoms. After changing to Vets4Pets in Kirkstall the vet ordered tests straight away and gave the correct diagnosis and medications straight away and within 6 weeks our dog was healthy and happy again.

C. D.Lovely careing vets. I had to have my Guinea pig put down today. And I had no money to pay with down to my last 10 pounds. They took care of my guinea pig. Showed both me and my piggy alot of respect and told me not to worry about the cost and to pay them when I get paid next. Amazing people. Kind receptionist and careing vets all round. But on the pricey side for medication. But worth it for the servise.
s. l.Always impressed with these guys. Nothing is too much trouble. The receptionists know my dogs and always make a fuss over them. Tom is an exceptional guy who I always ask to see when it comes to one of my dogs with an ear problem. He always gives the best advice compared to other vets I’ve used. The vets I’ve used previously are all about money, but these guys truly care. I just wish/hope they’ll open an 24 hr emergency centre, just to avoid Abbey Vets!!!

I don't know where he's from or how long he's staying, all I know is I hope he stays.
