C. N.Our nervous rescue dog Max is so anxious about the vets. However the staff have been brilliant and have always made time for him to help build up his confidence. He gets better each time we bring him, thanks to the staffs patience and understanding.

L. P.Reception staff really friendly. I was offered an appointment within a few hours of my phone call. I was called in from the waiting room on time and the vet was really friendly and explained everything in detail. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the visit!
K. M.We left Broughton vets because we'd moved house and had to travel much further, plus their out of hours vets were so far, it was the practical thing to do. I recently returned when my lurcher was limping because my new vets were not answering the phone.
I feel like their covid restrictions are reasonable, I have no concerns waiting outside as I think it's less stressful for the dog. You don't feel forgotten, they were really quick to come out, I wasn't waiting long at all. We saw Monica who I felt really understood the concern I had with my dog's history and the obvious worries that comes with a Greyhound cross and limping (the dreaded osteosarcoma). She took an extremely thorough exam, didn't rush at all, and explained everything really clearly. I went away feeling confident that I could contact Monica with any concerns and that I'd been taken seriously. Bessie feeling much better now.

J. A.Great dedicated vets who do their own out of hours work and will do home visits if required. Both not so common in many practices now. As a bonus they are very reasonably priced. Update 2021 - Sadly the practice no longer offer 24hr care. Their out of hours service is provided in Kettering!

The response to calls is second to none. Francesca is a lovely person she is patient and caring and gave me all the time I needed to spend time with my dashund Kylie to the end.

We sadly said goodbye to our old Labrador 3 months ago. The vet and nurse we dealt with took their time to ensure that we were comfortable with our decision, and explained the procedure to us so that nothing would come as a surprise. They also discussed the aftercare options to us in a kind manner. We really appreciated the time they spent with us explaining everything as we had never had to go through this experience before. We were never made to feel rushed. Poppy was made comfortable on a bed and then drifted off to sleep very calmly with us comforting her. Although I still get upset thinking about it, I couldn't have wished for a better experience for her. The vet then allowed us to spend some time saying our final goodbyes to Poppy in private. We are very grateful to all involved.
We have since felt a big hole in our lives, and are now about to get a new puppy. We can't wait to take her to meet the team!
