Rose, Gemma and the team were absolutely lovely at what was an incredibly difficult time for us. Our much loved Lexi became ill so quickly over the course of 24 hours, visiting the vets twice throughout the day only to have to call the out of hours team a few hours later…. Rose fully examined her, explaining everything as she went along, letting us ask so many questions and providing us with options to proceed followed up with giving us the time and space to make a decision. I am truly grateful for their help and compassion and the way they cared for Lexi was second to none, thank you

Will, the vet on call on Sunday 5 June was absolutely amazing, so caring towards our beloved dog, Wesley, wish Will could be Wesley’s permanent vet. He was so knowledgeable, informative and kept me and my husband up to date all the way, and explained everything fully. He was so kind to Wesley ⭐️

They took Shadow straight into the back when we arrived. The vet kept me informed several times. My only criticism is that once he'd had his X-ray and found out how much he was insured for it was a little negative. She did say that if they operated it would be a very long recovery. I did feel a little pressured into my decision to let him go. I still feel guilty about not giving him a chance. On the whole though I was very satisfied with and I think it might be just wishful thinking as I miss him so very much

I had to take my cat to out of hours after he had vomited string. (vetsnow are not my own vets surgery) the system is you phone when you arrive andd then someone comes to collect you. 35 minutes later I have to call again as I had been forgotten. When finally seen it was advised surgery would be the best option. (the 3 stars are solely for how they handled me as I was very emotional and the vet was very compassionate) 2 and a half hours later I'm called with an update to say he hadn't gone in as there was a more pressing surgery. (an anxious wait to hear nothing had happened) 3 hours after that I'm called to saay he's awake but they couldn't find any string so given that i had cut some off when he vomited it up they believed there would just be a small amount in the oesophagus. 2 days after surgery my cat passes the remaining string nearly 2m. I'm currently waiting for them to call me back to explain how this could have been missed.

Vets Now were fantastic! From the very first text to say they were awaiting our arrival and sending directions, to waving us off with our sad but very well cared for puppy. We were provided with lots of information regarding Winston's care and overnight stay and all the staff were really helpful and considerate of our situation. In the nicest possible way, hopefully we won't be seeing them again, but would be more than happy to have them care for any of our pets and highly recommend their services.

Very happy with the service provided by Vets Now!
Emergency situation with my dog on Saturday evening which required surgery and all of the staff acted very quickly yet informative and advised on their findings and the surgery required followed by a further phone call at 2:00am informing the surgery was complete and my dog was recovering.
Brilliant customer and patient care from the second we arrived and I am very happy we knew our dog was in safe hands.
He is now back home and recovering and we couldn't thank Vets Now enough for their high quality of care, honesty and general all round friendliness!

My rottie went in on Christmas eve after having to have a major operation on her tummy. Naturally I was absolutely heartbroken to not have her with me but the ladies here made me feel so much better by ensuring she had the best care. They kept me updated every couple of hours to start with, then on Christmas day explained that there had been a lot more patients arrive over night and would struggle to update as regularly, but said i could ring whenever. So I carried on calling to check up and every single time they always took the time to let me know how she was, regardless as to how busy they were. The vets, her assistants and the receptionists were all exceptional with their service. Luckily I was able to pick her back up on boxing day, and when I arrived, the vets said they were sad to see her go because she had been such a lovely girl to have in. I felt so proud.
I can't honestly explain how grateful I am to have had these ladies look after my baby. Thank you all so much!

Called them on 21st December as my dog started bleeding profusely but was in season. It was horrific. I was pretty much told to wait & see what happened but take her to a vet in the morning if still concerned. She was put to sleep 2 days later as she (apparently) had a tumour. I feel I was given false reassurance.

Our small dog received first class service from the emergency team yesterday, and despite not returning home with us, we were relieved he was comfortable in his final moments.
The emergency team kept us in the loop, every step of the way, which was appreciated.

We took our dog there recently when he had an emergency issue with his medication. Rose and the team were wonderful and could not have been more helpful. Talked us through everything step by step and clearly explained the options available to us. They were friendly, caring and compassionate towards our dog as well as us and we felt in excellent hands during such a worrying time. Thank you so much, you are all really appreciated.

I cannot praise these people highly enough. We had to take our German Shepherd Max here on Sunday, unfortunately he passed away in the car before we got there but the staff were so kind and caring letting my wife and daughters spend time with him in their consulting room to say our goodbyes. Then they kept him in cold storage for us until we collected him for burial last night. They even provided a cardboard casket for us to bring him home in. And the charge for this amazing compassionate service... nothing! In these times when everyone is out to make money no matter the circumstances it is so comforting to know there are still some honest genuine companies out there. If I could give you more than 5 stars I would. I will be making a donation to the RSPCA in lieu of payment for your service. Huge thanks Nick, Gayle, Hannah, Natalie and Charlotte.

We just wanted to thank the whole team here for their professionalism and compassion when we had to come on a Sunday as an emergency as our cat wasn’t well. The surgery was really busy and the vet was so lovely when she spoke to us and we made the heartbreaking decision that the cancer had progressed and it was time for Misty to be put to sleep. We were able to say our goodbyes in our own time before she went to sleep. Thank you for being there when Misty needed you.

Had to take one of my cats to the emergency vets, unfortunately he didn't survive, but at every step, from my initial phone call to collecting his ashes the people here were amazing. They made this really difficult time easier to cope with. I can not thank them enough.
I find it a comfort that there is a reliable emergency vet open.
There Covid-19 policy is very good, I felt safe while comforting my cat as he was gently put to sleep.

We had to take are lovely Dalmatian Geordie to the out of hours clinic and the quality of the service was second to none .It was a very sad time for us as we had to have our beautiful boy put to sleep . The vet and the nurse were amazing and so lovely with my boy and myself .There kind support helped so much at that awful time . They took care of everything but also kept me informed step by step of the way . Just over a week later we received a call and our boys ashes were ready to collect . Excellent service yet again so sympathetic and heartfelt . You really need lovely people like this when it comes to the end of your beloved pets life . We can't thank you enough.

I've asked for a follow up via email to your customer care address, but I'm yet to receive a response. My dog was very well cared for, my only regret is not asking more questions. The vet suggested that euthanasia wouldnt be the wrong thing to do, but no tests were carried out, so we were unsure of the cause of her symptoms. I regret not pushing for tests and have asked for further clarification on the Vets thought process. Not to criticise, but for closure. I went ahead with the euthanasia as I didn't want her to suffer. All staff were very kind and loving to me and my Dog. I just feel so much guilt that I may have agreed to it too soon.
The staff allowed me to return to the practice at 2am to collect my Dog and take her home, for her final few hours, despite me having previously agreed that she could be admitted. They made sure she was comfortable and even told me i could take her back for a top up of pain relief if I needed more time to say Goodbye, this was whilst they were already busy.
I would have appreciated knowing that I had more options with the cremation.... I didn't know I could actually attend, or take the dog there myself, this would have made the situation easier to bare had this been known to me. I was told she would be put in cold storage until the next day, where in fact she was there for four days.
To get 5 stars, I would appreciate my case/follow up request to be looked into and to be given a response.
I would, however have no issue bringing my other Dog to Vets Now should treatment be required in the future.

Fantastic service from Vets Now, this was an emergency appointment and the team were so friendly, kept me up to date with what was happening and even reassured me that Ralf was getting cuddles and some much loved Gravy bones 😀. If they were closer to me, I wouldn’t hesitate about using them as my regular vet!

Whilst I am very grateful that Vets Now could see Bob (cat) immediately, I was horrified at how much they charged. The itemized bill showed that I paid £50 for a tube of cream that costs £11.95 from a trusted online pet pharmacist and plenty of other places charge £12 for exactly the same product. And the £16 admin fee. Really? Also, Bob needed a pet vest but because they just use the premises of our regular vet they don't have access to the stock. That is ludicrous. Bob needed a vest but I had to ring round other vets until I found one that had a vest in stock in his size and then take him there for it to be fitted. That was another unnecessary journey for a cat who was feeling miserable and hates car rides anyway. The bill was so high that I assumed I would have received the same items required as if we had gone to our vet during their office hours. No issues with the staff or their care of Bob (I am extremely grateful) but the charges are unacceptable and I can see why some people might not be able to afford to take their pets to an out of hours service which must be awful for the pet and owner. Get real, Vets Now, your fees are extortionate and totally unnecessary. And before you leave me the standard response about your overhead costs, I fail to see why your charges are so high because you are using a vet practice's building and don't have the costs that the practice has but you charge triple or more than their rates. Bob is my world and I would do anything for him yet you did nothing but exploit me and plenty of others too. It's shameful!

Every member of staff were absolutely fantastic when we had to take our beloved German shepherd girl in on an emergency. Unfortunately the decision had to be made to say goodnight to her in her best interests. I would like to thank each and every member staff that cared for her and cared for us too. Truly amazing service and absolute professionalism from the start. We even recieved a personalised card from Vets Now to show their condolences. Would highly recommend them.

The treatment and care my baby boy received was outstanding. The care and compassion we received from the vet was fabulous. He was so kind and comforting. He spoke to us directly how we had asked. My boy was made to feel safe and comfortable in his last hours. Thank you so much.
C. T.
Very professional and helpful. Sadly my beloved dogs heart began to fail due to cancer. The vet explained in detail what was happening and then allowed me to wait until my husband and other dog arrived before saying goodbye. This was such an important time for me and they were very kind and patient.

We went on a Saturday as our rough collie had problems after he was neutered ,, they were amazing the nurse and vet there made sure the outcomes was the best interest of us and our dog not the managers pocket ,, you could tell it was more than a job to these ladies I wish they worked in my vets all the time !! Thanks for making us feel safe and not putting any pressure on us

Superb out of hours service by a vet and veterinary nurse who really cared for our dog. Claire the vet and Kelly the nurse were fantastic and gave first class care and treatment to our German Shepherd Merlin (and to us) when we took him in last night to have an abscess removed. 100% recommend the service. All members of the team were so professional.
L. K.
We've needed their services three times this year and, on each occasion, their knowledge, care and compassion has been outstanding. I would happily use them as my regular vets if I could. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Very helpful and compassionate during a traumatic time when we had to make the most difficult decision with our beloved 15 year old border collie Ruby.
B. W.
Very professional but more importantly they are extremely caring and compassionate towards their patients. They looked after my little dog overnight and gave her the help she needed to recover. I am happy to recommend Vets Now and would not hesitate to use them again.
T. W.
The vet explained what the process of tests would be to identify the problem & kept me updated with the blood results. The diagnosis was Addison's disease which is a very difficult one to identify but it was spot on. Fantastic service & a great bunch of friendly professional people. I would highly recommend them.

We had to have Our dog and best companion Put to sleep after nearly 16 years of having him ' we can't thank them enough For what they have done for us , They Were so kind and thoughtful At our most Lowest time.
Very very professional people once again thank you.

Extremely understanding of a grown man in a panic over his tiny Shih Tzu dog.
The dog was suffering mind blowing seizures and I was totally at a loss, frightened and scared that I was going to lose my beloved pet. Over 3 days and nights she was nursed back to full health by Clare, Emma and the team.
Not only did they treat the dog but they managed to calm me down and kept me informed the whole time.
We as a family and me personally can’t thank them all enough.
R. W.
Our dog had a high temperature and the team took great care of her, their covid measures are good and effective. The cost, being on a sunday, was rather high and I wonder how many people would neglect their pets health in the same circumstances, put off by the cost.
J. H.
Absolutely amazing place. Cannot fault them at all. The staff deserve so much praise, from the girls ok reception, to the nurses and the vetinary surgeons. You are all a credit to the company. Thank you for taking the time to look after us and explaining everything in a lovely and calm manner. We've seen you twice with our boy at the moment and also on the past and every time you have been superb! Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to everyone there!

unfortunately we've had to use the emergency vets a few times for our Dane. But they have always been caring, professional and kept us informed. Sadly Blu passed away at the last visit but the way theyve been has been amazing and made a difficult situation less painful.
F. M.
We can’t thank the vet and nurse who looked after our dog Hamish enough. They were very compassionate at what was a very difficult time for us. They helped us to make an extremely hard decision and we know it was the right thing to do.

Arrived about 7:30pm told of an emergency and vet was running 1hr late. After going through triage and seeing the vet we left at 11:40. Huge bill (£300)because we have insurance we were charged £17 for the privilege + a blood donation (this should be my opinion). Otherwise care was good
R. M.
I am writing this review as a concerned pet owner, we had to use Vets Now as our Springer Spaniel Ralph had eaten something he shouldn't yet again, this happened over the Easter break and our own vets were closed, we have used Vets now on a number of occasions and can not condone the wonderful care received, but i feel that the charges are ridiculous and certainly need some investigating. On arrival this particular weekend within twenty seconds we were asked if we had insurance! Ralph had tests, imaging and was kept on a drip to keep him hydrated cost £1100. We were told as a result of that he would need surgery to remove the obstructionat at a charge of £ 3500- £4000, how that can be justified as he has had the identical surgery at our local vets at a cost of £800. I can not praise the high level of care that he received from the vet and veternary nurses, but would appreciate a reply as an explanation of costs, sadly Ralph passed away due to repetative surgeries causing lesions.

Excellent quick out of hours care for my poorly boy. Kept up to date by phone as unable to go in with him, and offered choices of care.
In and out within the hour.
Couldn't ask for more.
Thanks.
Claire and Ramsey.

Vets Now Lincoln have given my dog the chance to live longer, Rafi was very poorly overnight and by the time he got to Vets Now his body temperature was very low and his blood had beginning of septicaemia, they found a large amount of fluid in his abdomen so they had to operate it was the longest two and half hours I have spent waiting for a call
Nicole was brilliant from the start explaining every situation and kept me up to date, Alana looked after Rafi for two nights and didn’t mind me calling for updates,
I couldn’t have asked for more, I know it costs money but they have all the necessary equipment to assess our pets and deal with whatever the outcome it, how I can put a price on the life of my dog who is just like one of us in the family
Rafi is now recovering very well
Thank you very much for everything
J. W.
Connor at Vets Now, Hykeham was extremely attentive and committed to helping our sick guinea pig. He thoroughly reviewed all the options with us and was very compassionate and kind, everything you could want in a vet particularly when faced with a terminal situation.
R. G.
My Foster doggy ate something toxic on a Sunday night and needed urgent care, the vets were easy to contact and very quick and had my dog better in no time, but the prices are extortionate, £230 just to be seen then another £200 for injection and charcoal medication :(
M. S.
Staff very good. As we went as an emergency the prices are very high.
We went to the vets as my pregnant dog she had 1 pup then labour stopped. Lucky the all went well and had 11 pups all doing well
E.
The care and treatment could not be faulted. The cost was over the top. Specifically, a total of £200 just for the consultation. I will change my current vets to one that offers out of houry care as a result of this.
S. L.
Staff at Vets Now are very friendly and helpful. They have put a great effort into saving our cat and kept us updated all along. I would highly recommend them.
V. W.
Our dog had suspected blue green algae poisoning. All of the staff were wonderful, friendly and accommodating we were even made a good cup of tea ! Thank you again we would highly recommend the clinic !!
K. S.
I was very dissappointed with the service, only because of the time it took from phone call to treatment, all that the vet/surgeon seemed interested in was payment.i was told to get charly there asap, due to her having1pup at5pm,and nothing else, the pups were still moving when i left home to take her to you.the ladies i spoke to were lovely, but when i spoke to surgeon,he seemed to be wasting so much time, and then he said,we ll scan and xray, then oxytocin,an hour or so past, then he rang me again to say they were going to do a c.section,by this time, and by the time the surgery took place the pups were obviously dead, why did they need to do xrays and everything, when he already knew pup was stuck and he had felt breech pups feet.even the breeder where i took charly to was really annoyed as to why where was so much messing about with my poor girl
D. T.
We took our much loved guinea pig for an emergency appointment. The staff were really sympathetic and understanding, especially when he didn't make it through.
S. H.
The care they gave to both me and my dog at the end of her time was wonderful and caring to the full.
A. L.
Despite us eventually having to say goodbye to our beautiful dog unexpectedly, the care, compassion & service we received from everyone at Vets Now Lincoln was so appreciated & truly moved us. Thank you so much.

had to phone after hours several times for our two pets when they had problems.... Could not fault the service provided!! Staff genuinely care, honest and professional, and even courtesy called to see how the animals were afterwards!

I’ve had to visit vets now a number of times over the years..... took an old stray boy cat Saturday night..... despite the covid & lockdown they were so bloody good. I can’t praise them enough for out of hours emergency care. So kind & very good. Thankyou
P. J.
Superb, caring, empathetic. Could not have asked for better care for my little dog The vet we saw is Canadian. Unfortunately I did not get her name. Hope you recognise this lady
D. T.
Wonderful and compassionate staff, helpful and caring. After an emergency admission overnight, they really were worth their weight in gold.
S. B.
My cat was in labour and having difficulties i rang the vets and they said bring her straight in and we will look at her they were lovely on the phone really understanding and made me feel at ease I would definitely recommend this vets .
Z.
Considering the nature of the visit, the team were calm, friendly and offered everything they could during what was a difficult afternoon. I cannot rate or thank highly enough everyone there and I would have no problem recommending them to anyone
J. M.
It was very busy but the vet was very kind , our dog was diagnosed with a gastric upset and given a paste to soothe her stomach , we were told it was normal to pass blood type poo ,and intestinal lining , no offer of a blood test , we were back first thing the following morning after she vomited blood , our vets put her on. Drip as soon as we got there and ran bloods ,she had severe pancreatitis , and was in over night , we are lucky they acted promptly ,so we have not got a huge amount of confidentce in vets now on occasion ,also we wanted to know why a tube of prokolin cost £48 for one tube which usually costs around £12 ,we appreciate the emergency vet out off hours fees are more expensive but surprised by the cost of this product , thank you
G. H.
Could not have been more helpful in n first contact by phone
Saw our dog straight away
The reception girls where so understanding and helpful also very kind
The Vet was 1st class in her knowledge and Exel Ed in customer care
After a full examination she explains everything to us
She even drew a diagram and
Talked us through what could happen worse case scenario and the possible costs
Diesel had a twisted stomach and all the bits that can result in fatel outcome
Any way long story short the vet did what she said she would
She spent four hours in the
Theater and it was a complete success
I can not thank this organisation inof
I will not hesitate to contact them again
And I will and have told every one how professional you all are
THANK YOU
A. W.
