Transferred from Castle Vets in Barnard Castle. Immediately called me back as soon as my pets details arrived and got us booked in first thing the next day. We did have to wait due to emergencies, but the vet and reception were lovely. Vet was very attentive, allowed us both into the examination room and asked very thorough questions about the problem (a marked improvement over our previous vets). Very compassionate and much more reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.

After being quoted £650.00 to have a lump taken off dog. A small loose lump we went here. Wow what a Welcome treats for dog let us go in examination room with our dog. We were quoted £150.00 to remove what Lesley said was a wart. We were impressed. I couldnt have had better service shame its only 5 stars. The receptionist when I called gave me a rough price so made appt. 4 tonight. Same price by which time Castle Vets @ Barnard Castle had sent our dogs records over then blamed the dog for growling last visit. That dog is like a child All i heard was a loud bang into examination room door as though she'd tried to get away. Lump was tender Mummy or Daddy not with her. Any Wonder we changed vets to Pendragon vets a 54 mile round trip but our dog comes first so booked in 4 operation. My partner said when we'd saved £500 less consultation fee No that doesnt mean I can have an extra £500.00 Xmas present. Id said if it was £650.00 We would just get dog operated on & I did'nt want an Xmas present. So he been Funny. Bless Him He a Great Guy.

Proper animal care by a team who really love your pet. We made the change and chose Pendragon as our Primary Animal Care Provider a year ago and now we wouldn't take our 2 terriers anywhere else...they love going. I can't recommend this practice highly enough. Top class.

Our 1st visit but seems to be very efficient and clearly explained things to me. Very busy even though we're still on lockdown.. very happy with them.

Have an 11 year cat with a cancerous external growth caused directly from being vaccinated at a different vets (according to that vet's pathology report). The growth was removed at the other vet's but returned a few months later. Pendragon was recommended due to our move to this area. Philippa, our vet repeated the procedure, I believe to a higher standard than our former vet but a few weeks later the growth returned. There may be no helping our otherwise perfectly healthy cat but the inevitable might be delayed with the medication Philippa has subsequently prescribed. We'll see. We do at least have hope and are impressed with Philippa's professionalism, knowledge, caring and positive attitude.

Pendragon Vets are no longer based at the address above, they have relocated to the business park above the Grammar School. I found them to be friendly, efficient and very caring. They helped me tremendously when I unexpectedly acquired 2 rescue dogs and I highly recommend them.
