Nice friendly vets. Reasonably priced and in line with others. I found the vets to be extremely helpful with my Scottish fold kitten. It is a busy practice but the staff are constantly on their feet and keep customer service levels good and efficient face to face and over the phone. Receptionist does a fantastic job. Parking is a slight challenge as there are only a few spaces in front on the main road that is followed by a bus stop.

After yet again being let down by Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital yesterday- who refused to see me and my dying cat when I phoned distraught at 8am. Saying no available appointments. No sympathy or apologies from the callous receptionist. I visited here for the first time. The receptionists were kind and lovely and the Vet Victoria was wonderful. I would recommend this practice to anyone. If I get a pet in the future, this is where I'll be taking them. Thankyou so much for helping me yesterday . I'll never forget it. Mariaxxx

I really have mixed views about this veterinary surgery. My dog has ongoing issues, of which Alex was very caring, helpful and knew the plan for my puppy's care. I feel that he never pressured us into spending more money than necessary which was fantastic. However, Alex has now left and it would seem that no one knows what to do with my dog. I am constantly calling and being promised that someone will get back to me (if they answer the phone at all) and yet no-one does. My puppy needs urgent treatment as he is suffering. Also the quote that was given to us for his surgery is significantly higher then what Alex advised it would be, yet no-one seems confident enough to do the surgery. I really do not want to change vets, but at this point I think I may have no other alternative.

My Galah Cockatoo needed to have a lipoma removed and managed to find this veterinary surgery local to me which also specialises in parrots. Alex was amazing with her and am so pleased to find a clinic thats not just after your money but really care about the health of your animals... I highly recommend the surgery.. I have many pets and this is now my go to place!

Just took my rabbits to get neutered. The service was really good, the vet took lots of time to explain me everything. They kept my rabbits the whole day and when I went back to pick them up, one of the staff explained me everything about the medications and she kept on asking if I had any questions or something was not clear to me.... They knew the names of the rabbits and could recognise them . My rabbits are really good and I really felt they took care of them and they really love animals. It’s a bit expensive, but I have to say that it’s worth it .

Our cat has been a patient here for nearly 8 years. In the last year or so she has developed various health problems so we have gone from being annual visitors for the MOT and vaccines to very regular visitors. I think this practise has a great bunch of people working there. The standard of care provided has been excellent, the regular vets we've seen show compassion and real care alongside their veterinary expertise. Test results have been communicated to us promptly and estimated costs for treatment have always been given. Suggested treatment plans have been discussed with us. One negative point-I wasn't keen on one locum vet we saw due to his manner. The nurses we have seen and spoken to have been very knowledgeable, caring and helpful. We have also started using the cattery and our cat has been fine after her stays. The cattery staff got her character worked out very quickly and again are very caring. They have made sure she has eaten and has gained (needed) weight during a couple of her stays.

Genuine animal lovers work here and they want to help your pet, not just take your money. I brought my ferret in just to buy some food and they were helpful at pointing out the cat foods that would be appropriate so I could let the ferret choose from the options. All of the staff came out to play with her and give her treats and they were a friendly bunch- even looked after her for a little while as I went to the shops!

We have visited a few times and have always been given the best advice and support with our cat. We were also offered to have her boosters done a few weeks early instead having to pay consultation fees again when we would have been back in 2-3 weeks, it's nice to know that it's not all about being hit in the pocket and they care about our pets as well as our costs.

It has always been a pleasure to take my cat to the vet practice on Hornsey road. The vets and the staff at reception are fantastic. My last visit was to organise for my cat to travel with me to Canada. Not only did he need to be checked by the vet, all the paperwork required for immigration had to be done. It is the vet Maria Victoria Smith Gijon who did it for me. She did exceptional work. She is extremely professional, helpful, responsible and reassuring. Thanks to her, I travelled with all the documents I needed for immigration and for the airline company and my cat was given calming medication and slept during the 7 hours of the flight. I give full marks (if not more) to the vet practice on Hornsey road and to Victoria in particular.

Excellent vets and cattery with a very caring team who I highly recommend. Our cat has ongoing issues so we are there often and the vet (Serena) is in contact regularly to check on her. They have gone above and beyond to support us in taking care of our cat who is probably one of their most complex patients. Treatment costs have always been discussed with us and they have made sure it is as affordable for us as possible. She is well cared for in the cattery too and they keep a close eye on her health and wellbeing.

There are separate cat and dog waiting areas. The receptionist was very friendly, helpful and efficient. She came to apologise when the clinic was running late. The veterinarian nurse was knowledgeable, friendly and thorough in her assessment.

I made 4 visits to the vet in 3 working days (Friday, Saturday and twice on Monday). I saw a vet called Alex on Friday (he was new to me) and then Victoria for all subsequent visits - Victoria couldn't have been nicer and more considerate. I had to make the difficult decision to have a cat put to sleep but Victoria was so helpful and kind about it - it really helped at a very difficult time.

Words aren't enough really to describe the dedication and care that this practice offers. For us and our beloved Boxer dog Boyce, these wonderful people went the extra mile. I have used many veterinary services over the years stretching the length of the country, and now finally I can rest assured that if my pet needs to visit the vets I know that everything will be done that can possibly be done. We have all been there as pet owners, worrying about the care our pet will receive in the hands of people hopefully and skillfully trained to take care of our loved one. These folks really do care. Boyce loved visiting Hornsey Vets, not just because he had to, but socially as well. We could not pass the door without him wanting to ''pop in'' and say hello. So if that is not a recommendation then I don't know what is. I can only say a BIG THANK YOU to the staff; and I mean all the staff from the receptionist to the cleaners. Hornsey Vets are unusually superb in every way. As long as I have a pet, I will trust these good folks to help me care and manage for it.

Me and Peanut the cat love Hornsey Vets! All of the staff are so attentive and kind, and you can tell they really love looking after all of the animals that come in and they obviously have a soft spot for cats! It is really handy that they have a selection of food and other pet shop staples too so you can pop in and get everything you need for your pet!

Our lovely cat Figaro was diagnosed with renal lymphoma in October 2014. Untreated he would have be gone in a few weeks treated, he could expect the average prospect of six to nine months of decent life. Over two years on, it's now November 2016, he is in remission and a healthy animal. Yes he had tough times going through chemotherapy and he looked a sorry state but it was all worth it. The dedication of the vets, Thomas, Laura, Serena, Alberto and Russell and the dedicated nurses (sorry if we missed anyone), is the reason he's still with us, it's clear they love animals. They often went above and beyond the call of duty. This is a veterinary practice of great quality and commitment to animals and we have no hesitation in recommending them. These people have woven pure magic and a free spirit still roams free. It's all been worth it and the best Christmas present we've ever had!

My beagle Lola can get very stressed before we even enter through the the door, but today was the best vet visit in 2 years thanks to Malcolm (today) and Serena (very patient and helpful the last few visits). By the end of the visit Lola was happily taking treats and even climbing on Malcolm, in the examination room and reception, which hasn't happened since she was a year old. Thank you for listening and being patient today, and managing to get a pippette up her nose. We look forward to the next visit, major improvement can't thank you enough.

We found Hornsey Vets through Cats Protection, where we got our little cat. Can't fault Hornsey Vets for level of care, from claw clipping to major surgery. The cattery is excellent and clean, and I have peace of mind that if anything goes wrong, the vet is right there. Cost wise, it's the best price in London for the cattery and struggle to recall any negative experiences with that or any vet visits. Can't recommend them enough.

We are very happy with the service provided by the practice. Our cat was diagnosed with pancreatitis when the illnes was not so advanced and thanks to the professional work of the dorctor Serena our cat is now recovered, happy and healthy. During de proccess Serena has been very supportive, always ready to talk to us when needed, and very very kind to our little cat. The cost of the treatment was always very clear and we have always been asked and guided though the expenses. The nurses did an amazing job and treated our cat with lots of care.

So pleased with the service we get from the team at Hornsey Vets, both the vet surgery and the cattery. Our cat, Klaus has been so well looked after and at every point, we have had everything explained to us and felt that they really do have ours and Klaus's best interests at heart. Nothing is too much effort and they are always happy to answer our questions, however silly they seem. We have moved to the other side of london now but still use Hornsey Vets as we trust them and that is important to us.

Hi...I don’t normally leave reviews but this vets practise is really professional and helpful..I have used them from when my cat was a kitten and never had a complaint about there service..always friendly...helpful and nice..my cat got a injured leg a few days ago..and had to take her in...the vet was super nice and spent a long time checking her over and explained full what I needed to do..medicine given and now she seems better..to top it off they called me Monday morning to see how she was doing..some reviews say that they are expensive...but what do you want excellent service and a health pet or cheap service
