The best vet which I have ever experienced. We have seen a number of vets whilst being with medivet and each one was professional and caring. It was Betty’s first ever visit to the vet. I found all the staff friendly, professional and kind at Medivet Southfields. I feel extremely lucky to live so close to this excellent surgery. It’s so reassuring to me, knowing that Betty has a knowledgeable vet we can turn to with any of her health concerns. The vet was outstanding with Betty, who is a very timid. I really couldn’t have been happier. When you have concerns for your beloved pet’s well-being there is nothing more important than the high standards of care by the kind and knowledgeable veterinary surgeon. I have no hesitation to recommend Medivet Southfields most highly.

Medivet Southfields are so lovely and professional, I get a different vet each time but they're all so good and proper. Been going to this place since I got 2 cats over a year ago and I have a good experience each time I go, both with the vets and when I call the reception. Even at busy times, you know they give you the best attention they can and they hear you out every time. They also send you reminders of when your pets need a vaccination booster or a check-up, as well as a newsletter with blog articles full of quick tips on how to best take care of your pet and on any dangers to avoid. You can get a monthly care plan as well, meaning you won't need to pay extra for some necessities, such as flea and tick treatment. 5/5!

Dr Rui It's an amazing person,always ready to help when I have my pet's sick, no matter if it's day or night, week or weekend , he always there for them. I have been bringing my two cats here for a few years. They have had a some unusual problems, but Rui and the team have always gotten to the bottom of things. I've never felt like unnecessary tests were ordered, and they sincerely have all the pets best interests at heart. Rui is an excellent clinician, and nursing team is also top notch. We are very lucky!

Rui and the team are the very bet in London. Compassionate, caring, and understanding. Their love of animals is totally obvious, and they are very very good at working together with owners and pets, providing top class treatment. I am very grateful to them all for making me and my fur baby feel calm and well looked after.

We just switched vets as our current one wouldn’t see our dog with an emergency for three days. I phoned medivet on Saturday, registered my dog and saw the vet two hours later. Great service, not to mention that our dog loved all the staff, he usually is really scared of vets...

Don’t hesitate if you want the best pet care. This practice offers the most incredible service. Rui is an amazing vet who always goes above and beyond to support you and your pet through the maze of veterinary help and shows vast knowledge and experience. He is professional, charming and kind. The whole team are extremely compassionate and efficient. The premises is basic, but clean and everything works as it should.

What a wonderful practise to have on our doorstep. One of our cats unfortunately was knocked down by a car and for 10 weeks we had to bring him into the vets on a daily basis to have bandages changed and medication administered. Rui, Sarah and the whole team were wonderful throughout - you could really see the love and care they feel for the animals in their care. I really can not rate them highly enough.

I constantly tell people about how kind, caring and wonderful this practice is, and have recommended it to pet-owners in the area already. The staff make me feel comfortable, they explain things clearly and keep me calm, and on top of that they treat my beloved cat so well. I have to come in often, as my elderly cat has ongoing health problems, and they clearly understand the impact this has on me as well as her, and make great efforts to ensure that she is happy and comfortable, and that I am informed and calm. I can't thank the staff, in particular Rui and the nurses, enough for how easy they have made what is a difficult and upsetting process, from the friendly welcome to the informative follow-up. I actually enjoy coming to the vet in some way now, and my cat gets lots of love and attention from everyone, so (aside from the invasive tests) it seems like she quite likes it too. This practice understands the important place my cat has in my life, and the pain of worrying about her suffer. I'm not sure I would be dealing with this so well myself if it hadn't been for the kind and talented people at Southfields Medivet.

I cannot praise the team at Medivet Southfields highly enough for the love, care and compassion they have always showed to my gorgeous boy Billy and equally to me over the last 5 years. Billy has not been the easiest of dogs to handle at the vets but that made no difference to Sara and Rui who understood he was frightened and looked after him gave him the care he needed. We had to say Goodbye to Billy 2 weeks ago and the love and kindness received by both Billy & I on that day will stay in my heart forever. Caring and treating animals is not just a job for the team here, it's what they were born to do and I trusted them with my best friend and knew that he was always in the safest of hands. Medivets Southfields have a brilliantly dedicated team that work hard to improve the health of your nearest and dearest pet friend. My cat Louis has had the best care from Dr Rui, Sara and her team. They have a lovely manner and understanding hearts and will do everything to make our furry friends well and have the best lives they can. I want to personally say that Sara is so dedicated, friendly and speaks furry language to our little darlings and puts them at ease. She cares very much about them all. I cannot recommend Medivet Southfileds highly enough. My Burmese Archie has been a frequent visitor, and Rui, Sara and the rest of the team have been nothing short of brilliant at taking care of both of us! They communicate quickly to put your mind at ease during serious illness and work extraordinarily long hours to make sure your pet is comfortable. They are a dedicated and caring team that put animals at the centre of their work.

These guys are wonderful! We recently got a kitten and they have been nothing but amazing from day 1, getting appointments is easy, the nurses and vets are all so friendly and very kind to the animals. Can't recommend highly enough.

We've been visiting Medivet for 16 years and there's no where else I'd trust with my cat. Rui is excellent; he always has the animals interest at heart and has even become friends with our (very) sassy cat! The rest of the staff are lovely too :) A big 'paws' up!

Although the care our cat received was very good, the communication and general organisation of the service we received was poor. We were not called when the vet assured us we would be, we could not get updates about our pet who was admitted over night, we had to call multiple times to speak to a staff member and we were not given the correct follow up appointment. In addition, we found the payment and insurance process very inefficient and poorly managed meaning that our claim has been delayed nearly 6 weeks simple due to poor communication. Being down roughly £1000 for this extended period without the claim even being sent off by the vet is not what we expected at all when we registered with this surgery.

I have had my Labrador, Teddy, with Medivet in Southfields since I adopted him 2 years ago. Unfortunately Teddy, being mischievous, is a frequent visitor, having had sticks stuck in his throat, eating things he shouldn’t that have caused tummy problems and he’s had various other ailments along the way because he’s a complete ruffian! The staff have been incredible every single time, going above and beyond what one could expect. Teddy actually loves going there. If we go for a walk in the vicinity, he drags me to do the door so he can go and see all the staff who are now his very good friends, and if they are closed, he looks genuinely disappointed. I can not recommend the practice highly enough. A big thank you to them for everything they have done and continue to do for my pooch. We are big fans!

They used to be very good but something happened over the last year or so. My cat who by the way is super friendly and social is now going mental every time we go to the vet(hissing, scratching, the works), after having spent a day there in August and they brought him out wearing those massive protective gloves... Not sure what happened to have scared the cat so much that it was needed but ever since then he is uber scared of the vet. I do some cat sitting for a few neighbours who incidentally all used to go to Medivet and we all agreed that the main vet doesn’t seem to like cats and he is quite rough with them. We all now switched to Voo vets in Wandsworth and we couldn’t be happier.
