All the workers at the PDSA New Cross are amazing people and I'm extremely grateful to them for the excellent care, attention and genuine compassion, (when I recently had to have my lovely dog, Parsley, unexpectedly put to sleep due to tumours), they have given to my pets and myself. I am recently unemployed and have been a client of the PDSA since. Without this very hardworking organisation, very many people, like myself, would not have the absolute pleasure of being able to have pets in their lives when not in a financial position to afford private vet fees. We are able to keep our pets in good health. This charity provides very excellent veterinary treatment and advice, either at zero cost, or an extremely reasonable low cost. They are incredibly hard working people. Sometimes the wait to see or speak to a staff member may seem long. But the clinics are extremely full and busy. Especially during this covid time, I imagine their clients have tripled to say the least. I would like to say thank you very much to the PDSA for everything you do, I am really grateful to you. I would urge anyone who is able to, to donate to this amazing charity. Thank you PDSA.

Thanks for your services PDSA you did an excellent job operating on my cat so, a massive thank you for this, you did a fantastic job -please keep donating everyone as these people are amazing at what they do and was straight with me about my cat. My cat is now recovering in Thamesmead and I hope she will continue to do so. The Vets were very nice and professional people and done a great job. Just one downside, I felt older lady with short grey hair at reception is a little rude and unprofessional, especially when you have patient owners coming in worrying about their pets lives and your met with somebody like her who seems to only be concerned about how busy she is and how she is feeling. I feel she should get a job elsewhere if she is not happy there which, clearly she isn’t. We all have been affected by Covid in different ways but no way, would I speak to my customers in a rude manner as she did especially, when I was already upset my cat had a life threatening illness.

We had our GSD put to sleep today we cannot fault the veterinarians they were very accommodating and sympathetic and we would like to thank them for their compassion and sympathy. All those years used to work next door & didn't know this place existed. My pet came for his first check up & vaccination. A busy pet hospital where the receptionists were upbeat & pleasant. What can I say!!! What a pleasant experience (completely shocked 👀 did not expect this). Reception staff fab, both on the phone and in person, vet fab. Both sets of staff knowledgeable and friendly. I was there on behalf of another and didn't have a good experience at a previous free vet when I accompanied them not long ago. I take my own pet to a private vet but I left pdsa New Cross thinking WOW!!! Are they for real, my next thought was that I would much rather take my own pet there (unfortunately I am not eligible)😭. They were attentive, caring and so thorough with their assessment and treatment plan. Showing much care for both pet and human. 😍. PDSA you are amazing wishing that you were our first experience 😘

Helped when my cat needed them. No help when he died though. Had to arrange cremation myself. Not a word on their services to me till I called to arrange collection to get him cremated then they tried to sell me their version. Too little too late.

My Cat became ill no warning I called the Hospital as an emergency to notify staff I was on my way. The Staff where amazing the response was quick and efficient.... The vet was absolutely brilliant and he knew exactly what the problem was including the triggers .. My visit was short and sweet however I left the hospital with more knowledge which will now empower me to support my cat moving forward. Truly Appreciated to all staff at PDSA New Cross. The services at PDSA have been First Class. The staff see so many animals each day and whenever I've had to visit their centres I have always been greeted in a friendly and professional manner. They looked after my poorly rabbit (who nearly didn't make it) very well.

Amazing Hospital. I take all my unwanted bedding and old towels and they are so grateful. Always there with a friendly smile and the vets themselves are fantastic. My Bonnie who is a staffie hate the vets but they are so gentle with her' she becomes at ease right away.

Long long wait, took 2hrs past appointment time. The older lady behind the counter is incredibly rude and should not be front of house. The vet was abrupt and barely listened to what I was saying and then after spending 3hrs there she just told me to keep an eye on my dog who had been vomiting and more for 3 days....

Brilliant vets I'd definitely recommend them. They dnt charge the earth and if your on benefits they'll ask for proof then you only have to give a contribution but you've got to pay for any injections that your pet may require. They allow you to either pay on the day or at a later date and they tell you whether your in credit etc.

Very helpful and caring staff. They really took care of my cat. Waiting times are quite long, but it is to be expected with an animal hospital that only ask for donations, unlike normal vets that cost the earth. Very grateful to the PDSA. If you use their services please help them out with a donation as much as u can.

Excellent care given to pets, nothing bad to say apart from the telephone line, it takes hours if not more to even be able to get through at all, to make an appointment. I do not see any reason for the line to be constantly blocked as when you go into the vets, the reception desk is empty not busy. very difficult to communicate because of this. Other than this big problem, the PDSA do a great job!

Full of helpful staff who are sometimes rushed off their feet. It can be packed out at times or empty at other times. It's clean and tidy and staff treat people with respect but that isn't always returned by some of the people who visit with their animals

My dog was very ill, I rang the hospital and they told me to come straight away. When I got there, they came outside and got my dog and took him straight in. He was seen quickly. Sadly I had to lose him but they were very caring. Try to give a donation if you can. They do their job very well.

I've used the clinic ever since it opened and have had good service generally but it's more difficult to get appointments which can only be booked a day ahead to see a Vet, this has been more difficult ever since the charity opened up elegability to include those on a further range of benefits. The clinic is very to a busy route and opposite New Cross Station. The building is clean, dogs and cats owners sit in separate areas but often the dogs owners sit near the cats or alow their dogs to make a lot of noise which is very distressing for healthy ones, let alone the si k ones.

They couldn't of done more for my dog who was viciously attacked by 2 other dogs. Staff were lovely and amazing. They saved his life.

They are very good for the emergency service they offer at a low cost to clients who qualify for help..The vet treatment is less bespoke than high end vet clinics, but it's acceptable. My cats have done well here.

I first started off with the PDSA New Cross when my dog was just a puppy actually 2 weeks old I left New Cross and moved to Croydon and then was transferred PDSA Croydon I was with them for 10 years right up until 7 weeks ago when my dog was now 13 years old he started off with the PDSA and ended up with the PDSA when I had to put him down because he was very sick PDSA is one of the best vets you could take your dog to actually all pets the staff are fantastic it's just me now not getting over me having to put down my baby it makes me very sad but PDSA looked after my boy from the beginning to the end great people staff are brilliant very helpful you can't go wrong great
