Our beautiful and adorable cat got brought in by a passer-by yesterday after having been hit by a car. We don`t use this vets but they did everything they could do to try and save her and ultimately make the end easier. When we arrived when she`d sadly already passed away they were so compassionate and kind. I can`t thank them enough for helping us through that moment, what a wonderful and kind practice. I can`t recommend them enough, they genuinely care.

Could not have been kinder or more efficient in handling our Guide Dog's illness and death. It is a small surgery and I think there will inevitably be times when there are waits or unanswered phones. But they are working flat out and the occasional minor hitch is worth it to know an animal is getting the best and most humane treatment.

Dr Gabrielle and the other staff at Passey Place Vets cared for Moonbeam professionally and with great care and understanding. I was impressed with the lengths they went to to spare her any suffering. Sadly she could not be saved but we thank them all for their sympathy. We’ve been going to them for several years with dogs and cats and have always been satisfied.

Good prices and appointment availability during 'normal times' and during consultations the staff have always had a kind manner towards my pets. However, at times reception staff are more curt than necessary and lack empathy. During covid-restrictions I think things would be alot easier for clients if a hold system was put in pĺace on the phones (my record for number of call attempts in a day was 40) and an intercom at the front door, as well as ascertaining the order people have actually arrived. Unfortunately, I needed to have a much-loved pet euthansed here, standing at the side door with not even an offer of a chair while I waited with a very sick dog in my arms. I understand that these times are unusual, but clients can still be treated well and fairly with consideration, remember, it's not a client making a frivilous choice to pop to the vets in all cases, but people who have no choice but to attend. I feel Covid-19 has been an excuse to let client-care standards drop. As an ex-Registered Veterinary Nurse amd practice manager I have seen other practices where friends work that have much better arrangements in place with minimal expense in order to retain their standards.

Only been twice to this vet practice. First time to register, the 2nd time for a health check and worming tablet. Staff seem really nice. The vet that tended to us was polite, friendly and informative. The dog liked her too! Bonus!

All the staff are just so caring and lovely. My cat was admitted almost on deaths door and then diagnosed with a rare illness. The main vet (I'm so sorry I forgot her name - she has grey hair and is very friendly and kind) patched her up and helped her live for another year before she had to be put to sleep. The vet was empathetic and kind at a very emotional time, almost as though it were her own cat. Could not recommend them enough.

They have been most helpful and kind. I volunteer for an animal rescue charity and sometimes need to request a local vet to help with an emergency casualty. Passey Place Vets have helped without question, even during lockdown. Several other vets including a large brand in Sidcup were reluctant or outright refused to help. Avoid the big brands and use this great local service. I will certainly use this vets when I get a dog.

This is the first time i had used this practice. I found them very caring and professional and they listened to my concerns about my pet and took them on board. They took very good care of my pet and gave good advice regarding after care. I would definately recommend to anyone and use this veterinary practice in the future. Their prices are extremely reasonable,dare i say cheap but there is no compromise on the quality of care or seeing to your pets needs.

I have many different pets (Dogs, tropical fish, rats and snakes) and every time we've been to this vet it's been amazing. My greyhound had a trapped nerve in his spine; they eased his pain and helped his recovery very quickly and made sure he stayed healthy with followups. more recently, one of the rats have had 2 abscesses that they quickly fixed and another went in for a tumour removal today. I booked the appointment yesterday, she was seen for a consult today and I took her home tumour free today. the original price for this was £95 for the full treatment including consultation fee which they lowered to £88.50 as the surgery was easier than expected. They really knew their stuff which is great for those who are more inexperienced and knew how to keep their cages to limit another visit, AKA not using sawdust as it can be abrasive and hard on their lungs. They even said that if they felt the rat could not undergo surgery at any point, like if they felt the rat doesn't respond well to the anaesthetic; they would not do the operation (rats can live with tumours for up to 6 months with one, though it is very restricting for them). I could not believe I got her home the same day that I had the appointment and they've sorted follow ups for me to make sure things are ok after. This place is a small independent vet and really do care for your pets wellbeing. the staff I've encountered are friendly and do a good job. I couldn't be happier!

Great practice with friendly and skilled staff. Been coming here for years with my cats and they are very reliable and care deeply for the pets. Only downfall is it really needs decorating in there! Old blue tack and handprints. It doesn't feel very sanitary in there, could do with a kick of paint! But that's only asthetics of course

You won't find a better vet, we have a rescue dog had been very badly treated in the past, Passey Place do all they can to put her at ease. She is very nervous and can't stand going to the vet but they do all they can to take care of her. Their ideas on Face Book covering all animals are great, they care even take in strays and help them as much as they can. Their resent idea of a cave for animals who are scared of fireworks etc., was one of the best ideas and help us a great deal to help our pet. Would not go anywhere else.

We've been going here for 14 years and the service has been excellent, sadly, over the last 6 months it's gone drastically downhill. The admin staff are very disorganised, the main vet; Miss Sinclair, seems to be doing the work of 3 people and on the verge of burnout, whoever does their accounts keeps messing up and one of their receptionists will never admit they've made mistakes and can be quite sharp sometimes. Hopefully things will improve in the new year, it's such a shame.

I have been using this vet practice for about ten years, for a variety of animals. I have bred and kept several different species and have also helped my mum, who has been a dog and cat breeder for many years. This all means that I have dealt with quite a few veterinary practices over the years, and I am happy to stay with Passey Place. Currently we have dogs, cats and rabbits under their care. The continuity of care is great as there are two full-time vets, and some part-timers who fill in when one of them is unavailable. One of the full-time vets has been on long-term leave until recently. The veterinary nurses have mostly been there a long time and know their stuff. I like the way they remember so many details of my animals and clearly take a great interest in their work, and genuinely care for the animals. The staff turnover amongst the nurses is low compared to most vets, which has to be positive. One of the nurses has a special interest in rabbits. The charges are reasonable compared to other practices - most of us find vet charges a shock, but when you look around, the training and the equipment do cost - try comparing it to the charges at a private hospital! When this practice saved my dog's life after a horrible accident, I was surprised at how low the charges were even though it was an emergency, as it came out as the same price friends have paid for routine operations. One thing which particularly impressed me was that the vet suggested that I buy some particularly pricey medication online and just pay them for the prescription, as there were internet suppliers which could undercut the price they were supplied at. Their charge for a private prescription is only £5 at present, which is very reasonable compared to some other surgeries. Like many of us nowadays, I always check things out on the internet as well as consulting my vet. I have been impressed at the fact that, even when I have asked Ms Sinclair (one of the partners) about something obscure, she has always had an up-to-the-minute answer. She is down-to-earth, and doesn't try to promote expensive treatments. In fact, she has sometimes advised me against various costly treatments on the grounds that she thought it would be stressful for the animal. I really respect her - and I'm not easily pleased where vets are concerned. She won't necessarily tell you what you want to hear, but she will give you an extremely well-informed, honest opinion, and if you are someone who wants to know details, she is happy to discuss in depth. This is not an all bells-and-whistles surgery. They do not have all the latest gadgets and will refer you to a veterinary hospital if your pet needs scans or procedures that they do not provide. However, they have all the essential equipment, do their own X-rays, and do on-site blood analysis, which not all surgeries offer (my GP doesn't!). As you can tell, I am a happy customer here; Iong experience of this surgery has left me confident that my animals will be well cared for.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Claire the vet, for not giving up on our 6 month old hamster James, after he developed a tumor, other vets would not even attempt the surgery to remove the tumor or wanted a considerable amount to even try, Claire was very Sympathetic and caring, as could see how much James meant to my 8 year old daughter, took james in on the tuesday and was operated on that morning, picked him up in the afternoon, very bright eyed and Tumor removed, would recommend this particular vet to anyone for there furry friends, fantastic care and exceptional service. Vets are very good especially Mrs Sinclair, we have been a customer for about 25 years but about 1 half years ago a new receptionist started and we have been over charged on more than once and she can be be quite abrupt and rude, but I would recommend the vets as they have allowed treated my animals very well
