Lovely small Malaysian restaurant. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Curry laksa noodles is super tasty, if you like coconut that's the one to choose.

Great food which is very authentic and delicious. Portion is generous! I love my mi goreng and prata. Will highly recommend this restaurant. It is child friendly too but you may need to fold your pram as the space not very big.

Delicious food, excellent service; went there due to a recommendation, completely new to Malay cuisine and really enjoyed it. Waitress was lovely and helpful in guiding us, portions were generous and the vibe was lovely and chilled out. Gets busy fast around lunchtime so get here earlier than 1pm if you can!

Very good quality food , juicy deep fried tumeric marinate chicken very tasty , and the juicy satay and the satay sauce , and the curry laksa very nice don’t feel too heavy with the curry laksa . The portion is normal , wasn’t too huge like other place . Worth to visit again

Lovely Malaysian cuisine and very attentive customer service. Tables outside perfect during the pandemic. Food is excellent Malaysian grub, had the nasi lemak rendang, the lemak was very tasty and the rendang was full of flavour. Great food and wonderful service. We got the nasi lemak with chicken curry, kuey teow, and malaysian tea (teh tarik). It was nicely decorated and in a good location to get to!

Good food, lovely people, decent prices. We were a little early for the full menu (as opposed to breakfast) but they were kind enough to let us order curry laksa and char kuey teow anyway. Guess it was quiet. The food was very tasty, which is the main thing! Unfortunately we scoffed the kuew teow before I remembered to take a photo.

Amazing TRUE Malaysian food. Under NEW management 8 months ago. The Wat Tan Hor is as GOOD as you gets in Malaysia. The nasi Lemak RENDANG iswhat you die for. And many other dishes like curry Laksa, curry chicken, roti canai, curry puff, prawn noodle - har mee, Hainanese Chinese rice & many more. Each time, I go there for my meal. I end up buying more takeaway home for next day. As so many choices to choose from. And I want to eat them ALL. Highly recommended. Is a true gems of Malaysian, authentic food. Yummy.

5 stars: Great service by Kak Zakiah & co, cosy ambience, spotlessly clean cafe. 4 stars: nasi ayam hainan, teh tarik & horlicks are on point; nasi itik & karipap are average. Will try the newly introduced nasi kandar & any of the noodles next time we visit. 3 July 2021: Tried the nasi kandar. Even though it’s the second priciest item on the menu at £15.90, the fish curry alone (which can be ordered à la carte) is well worth it! Next mission: asam pedas. Not a fan of the Cantonese style noodle. Downgrading to 3 stars.

Good honest Malaysian cusine. Nice little restaurant with authentic Malaysian dishes. There were 3 of us and we had: Wa Tan Hor Noodle - Cantonese fried rice noodles with silky egg sauce. Penang Char Kuey Teow Noodle - Malaysian stir fried flat rice noodles. Kari Laksa Noodle - Egg noodles served in a bowl of coconut based soup with chicken, fishball, shrimp, tofu and boiled egg. All very good, and will definitely visit again to try some other dishes. We also ordered a drink of Sirap Bandung (with grass jelly) - see photo. However, it was rather disappointing, so will try something else, next time.

I love that it opens in the morning so you can have your nasi lemak and teh tarik for breakfast. But i would like to taste more santan in the nasi lemak and a bit more sambal too. The curry laksa comes in a light thin gravy but very delicious nonetheless.

Price is a little high for the common South-east Asian cuisine and I think could've been readjusted more sensibly. However for what you pay, the quality is great. Try the duck rice, the meat is the most succulent and tender I have ever had, rice just pack a wholesome coconut punch. Magnificent.

Really enjoyed the food here. Very good roti canai. Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The chicken curry that came with it was very tasty. Mee goreng Mamak not super authentic but a good effort. Nasi Kandar was also very good and reminded me of home. Curry puff pastry was excellent but the filling somehow was not as tasty as I was expecting. Service was attentive. I will definitely return to try the rest of the menu.

Delicious food. The Curry & Rendang were very tasty, so was the Nasi Lemak. Fluffy rice and a very good sambal. Had 2 types of Kuih( Malaysian dessert ), of which good ones are hard to come by , and they were a nice treat. My Malaysian mother in-law is an amazing cook which has set the bar high for my expectations and I have often left other Malaysian restaurants dissatisfied, yet to Putera Puteri I will definitely come back .

I had always wanted to visit this cafe the first time I saw it and I did it tonight.. i was a visitor to London and I live far away from my country, missing all my Malay food. I had nasi Lemak with teh Tarik!!. And duck rice to take away. It was a friendly atmosphere and the food was amazingly authentic!!!! The meat of the duck itself was so tender and tasty!! I will return to this cafe again when I return to London!! Highly recommended for those missing Malay cuisine!!
