If we could, we would give Roundwood Vets a 10 out of 5 stars. Such a fantastic practice, with their friendly yet super professional and uber helpful team. Whether it's a treatment, general health check or just an annual vaccination routine for our kitty, we’ve been given the best and most attentive care. Thank you very much!

Tooth clean for my cat. The cost was around£250. They suggested 2 extraction £450 additional cost. Pets at home vets are £60 per extraction when doing a scale and polish. These guys wanted nearly £700 and same with pets at home is £330 greenford . They were able to see my cat when many places now are not registering new pets so I am grateful. I think they did a good clean and my cat was well cared for. I used to live on roundwood road 8 years ago, in the day there were drunk and high people around. My 3 year old wants to come to the vets next time but not happy about the area. Parking is hard to find, many bays being residents. Not the vets fault but it is a really sketchy area. For these reasons I might change. Positive side: attention and care to post pet treatment. Cat seemed to be well cared for and teeth well.cleaned. they are organised and efficient with booking an appointment. Negative: parking is difficult, church rd. Has some sketchy characters. Expensive for.additional extractions.

Overjoyed to have found this excellent practice so close to home. I wish we’d registered our cats with them sooner. Very thorough, genuinely caring and friendly yet professional. They have treated our cats for both serious and minor conditions: they are very knowledgeable and refreshingly up to date with current treatment options which sadly has not always been our experience. Exceptional service, my frenchie has what seems to be a range of allergies and Dr. Joe and the team at Roundwood have gone out of their way to get to bottom of the cause, not just simply giving medication but actively searching for alternatives. We were litter picking the canal and pulled a bag with six live kittens out of the water. We didn't know what to do, and contacted Roundwood Vets who immediately offered to check them over for us. At Round wood Vets you always get a friendly greeting when you arrive also to your pet which is nice, Dr Hannah is very good and checks your pet all over and checks their weight and never forgets to calm your pet my talking to them. If you have email Roundwood Vets reminds you to administer the next flea or worming treatment to your pet as this is often forgotten by yourself. So all in all they are very good and well deserve the 100% I have given them.

It was heartbreaking to have to put down my almost 14-year-old chihuahua a few months ago, but the vet I saw was extremely compassionate, sensitive and sincere. She made what is an horrendous experience for any pet owner a much easier one because of the professional way she handled both my dog and myself. I feel so lucky to live round the corner from this wonderful vet practice. I used to drive a 2 hour round journey to take my dog to the vet who was looking after her when I rescued her, because I couldn’t find a vet I liked in Islington where I used to live. I have been bringing my cats to Roundwood Vets for 13 years. This practise has always delivered an extremely high standard of care. Such nonsense about the previous vet who was always very dedicated and highly professional. When one of my cats passed away with kidney disease last year he went above and beyond the call of duty to try to do everything he could for her. The level of care could not have been higher. Before Christmas the practise was taken over by Hannah and her friendly caring team. The practise has had a great new revamp to bring it up to date. The very high standards continue, and have been further improved with the excellent new facilities. Hannah was great with my cat. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive by the receptionist who is very friendly and helpful. My cat is doing very well thanks to the great care he has been getting. Do not hesitate to take your pet to Roundwood- they are in very safe and caring hands.

I recently attended Roundwood Vets after an emergency came up and my vets were closing. They took my pet in immediately and treated him before a few other scheduled appointments, working late into the evening due to the extra appointment. They were able to quickly treat my pet and did thorough checkups. Unfortunately, my pet rat went on to die later at the Royal Veterinary College, however, I feel that had I come to Roundwood Vets sooner then it might have been a very different story. My previous vet would simply diagnose the rat as "a little wheezy". However, Hannah was very thorough in her assessment and laid out clearly the possible causes and secondary causes to his respiratory issues. They seemed to be really friendly with their clients and knew many of them by name. One lady left gifts for them, which suggests to me a great level of thankfulness and kindness toward the staff whom she trusts. They're worth visiting if you're in need of help with your pet.

Excellent young vets and very considerate and kind receptionist. My elderly cat needed a dental scale and overall check up. The vets were superb. He last had a check up and tooth cleaning at one of the big vet chains where he was prescribed kidney medication costing £30/month. The lovely specialist vet dentist at Roundwood gave him dental x rays showing all was well, as well as a thorough dental cleaning After comparing his current blood tests with the previous she advised that he would most likely be fine on the specialist kidney safe foods without extra medication. My cat is rejuvenated! The overall bill was almost 50% less than bill from the big vet chain and their care has given me back a happy playful cat. Nobody tried to push any extra service or treatments. I love this practice

As a new first pet owner I was delighted to find out about Roundwood Vets. My Aunt has lived in the area for 40 years and had heard nothing but great things about the new vet and her team from other pet owners - you're the talk of the parks!! Needless to say I have not been disappointed Pixie has been so well looked after and Dr Hannah takes the time to explain everything to you so you leave feeling informed. The receptionists are extremely friendly and welcoming and the nurse very helpful and understanding when I rang with concerns. All in all, a fab vet!

This practice has been taken over by a new team . I took my dog there today for booster and flea and worm medication. The receptionist was very friendly and polite and on meeting Hannah the vet I was very impressed by her . She took time to examine my dog and let me ask questions and told me lots of useful information with out preaching. Most importantly my dog was at his ease and relaxed at what normally can be a stressful situation for him . He was well cared for and picked up on how much the vet and the rest of the team obviously love animals and really care about there welfare . I was extremely happy and have no fears about going back . If you want the best care for your pet I would recommend this practice.

I recently came across Roundwood's after my dog walker had passed on positive feedback from other clients of hers. I decided to call up when my dog was due her annual check up, Hannah and her team couldn't have been any more helpful. The receptionist was lovely and Hannah gave my 6 and 9 year old niece and nephew loads of info on looking after the puppy they got for Christmas which was really appreciated. I had a great experience at Roundwood Vets 😊 I had taken my dog Poppy to my previous vets as her paws were sore and her skin was flaring up, however they seemed to just throw various drugs at her without really investigating the problem. I had heard Roundwood Vets had been taken over and the website looked good so I took her there. The staff are all so friendly and I feel like Poppy is in much better care. Would highly recommend!

I bring my cats here for their yearly check ups and inoculations as routine, however it is when your pets have a crisis that their expertise and caring really shows. Been taking Freddie to Roundwood vets since he left his mommy. He's gone through all his initial vaccination, Castration and also a dental surgery to take his massive baby upper canine out. I have to say he absolutely love going to the vet and love Hanna and the entire team. the whole experience has been fun for him since he was born. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to ask them for any advice. The team is so welcoming and super friendly, just like you're hanging out with your pals. Can't wait for the renovation to be done so we can take Fred in for puppy school.

Fantastic team - everyone is so friendly and down to earth the entire team get involved with every family and pet that walk through the door. We have a 2 year old German Shepherd who's wary about who he lets touch him. Within the first 20 mins of being here he's so comfortable with everyone. By our second visit he was showing off his tricks and cheekily giving those puppy eyes for the treats like he does at home. Dr Hannah is just great really soothing and takes her time with everyone, addressing all our concerns immediately. Highly recommend this place!

We took our Staffy Popeye to Roundwood Vets when we rescued him from the Mayhew Animal Shelter, and the practice have more than exceeded our expectations. The people there are friendly, professional, caring, and the service is second to none. We took our cat, Minnie, to Roundwood vets for the first time last month, and can't recommend the team highly enough! The receptionist was friendly, professional and knowledegable. While, Dr Hannah and her nurse were thorough and put both us - and the cat! - at ease during an otherwise stressful first vaccination and microchipping. Extremely well served. From the moment I knocked on the entrance door before their opening hours and was let in and being informed that opening the premises was at 8.30 am (customer service/reception took immediate action correcting info on Google of 8 am opening). The Vet and assistant inspected Peter. our cat informing what was wrong with him and what action was to be taken. They kindly transferred him to a clean pet transporter as ours was not clean enough and said that Peter would be taken care of. The result were very good and after returning home Peter the cat was back to normal and the next day completely back to normal. I give 10 out of 10 for the team work managed by the owner vet. Although I thought the services charged were over our budget I made every effort to honour to pay the sum asked for as was honest and just. Thank you very much for taking care of our Peter!

I found Roundwood Vets practice very professional with all the staff warm and friendly. The new practice started in December 2015. Hannah the vet took good of our cat Marilyn and put us at ease.

Roundwood vet is an amazing clinic. They quickly got to the bottom of my dog's problem and gave me the correct medicine to fix it. unlike the other vet I had been going to who only medicated the symptoms, Roundwood medicated the actual infection. Now my dog is happier than he's been in weeks. And, to top it off, they were cheaper than the other vet.

I’d like to say a big, big, big thank you to Doctor Hannah Parkin and her team for the fantastic care they gave my 2 year old tom cat Ziggy when he was very ill recently. I came home from work one evening a few weeks ago to find Ziggy listless and not interested in his dinner, a sure sign that something wasn’t right, so I rushed him to Roundwood vets as an emergency. Dr Hannah examined him and diagnosed a blocked bladder – a potentially life-threatening condition for a cat. She said that he’d have to stay in at the vets overnight. She then stayed with him all night attaching a catheter to him and unblocking his urethra which was blocked by a struvite crystal. She then drained his bladder. Bearing in mind that I didn’t take him to the vets until 19:30 and they closed at 20:00, she gave up her whole night at extremely short notice to watch and care for him which is something for which Ziggy and I are eternally grateful. She kept me informed by phone later that evening when I was extremely worried and eased my concerns a little. When I went to see him the next morning, he was looking a bit put out but also looked a whole lot better. He was allowed to go home that evening as Hannah judged it would be a less stressful environment for his recovery. All the after-care we’ve had has been fantastic and he’s well on the mend now and back to his naughty, curious self. Ziggy and I (and his brother Spike) would like to say a huge thank you to Hannah and her team for their incredibly professional and selfless care. I was extremely worried about him and their friendliness and professionalism put me more at ease. They gave and continue to give Ziggy an amazingly high standard of care and made plenty of follow-up calls to check he was ok. Every contact I’ve had with Roundwood has been exemplary and I would HIGHLY recommend this practice. Thank You!

I met the new vet, Hannah, a month ago when I went to Roundwood Vets to buy some dry food for my cat. She came across as very friendly and very professional! Hannah asked me questions about the reason why I was purchasing this particular brand of dry food. I explained that my cat had had a blocked bladder recently and that I had been instructed to only feed him with this particular brand. Hannah gave me some extra advise about how to keep him healthy. I won't hesitate at all to take my cat to Roundwood Vets when his jabs are up for renewal! I feel lucky to have such a good vet only a few minutes away from home.

Good, clean, they will look after your pet. Nice people running this place, very professional. The only thing that bothers me, is that they tend to keep on calling you, try to talk you into stuff you don't necessarily need. Even though they have good intentions, they can come across as pushy. Prices are reasonable, I would recommend this place. They are open on Saturdays, and if you call on Sunday, a nearby 24/7 vet will take your call

Very pleasant helpful reception staff. Very grateful for Dr Crina giving me two very practical tips regarding nutrition for an older cat. Even more important how to get my cat to drink more water. I purchased appropriate senior cat food...which she loved. Then placed a couple of wide angle (don't like their whiskers to touch edges) water dishes around the home...not near her food as was suggested by Dr Crina. Obviously with consuming dry food she'd be thirsty...but it's so uplifting to see her now drinking water regularly throughout the day...thank you.

Lovely people, but there's several things I'm not happy with. Even with insurance they expect you to pay for treatment beforehand. My dog had a simple ear infection and required 14m Otomax Ear drops which are under £10 online, but sold to us for over £25. Considering they charge £45 for a consultation we should have been given the optopn on proving a prescription be instead we are charged the ridiculous amount of £168. I'm starting to think they are more concerned about making money than anything else.

A good vetinery surgery with very nice vet's. The only reason that I didn't give it five stars was because I was charged £25 for a 3g tube of eye ointment that I later found online for £7. If your looking for a good friendly vetinery surgery I highly recommend them however if your not paying through your pet insurance I recommend you Google the price of any medication first.

We came in with a very sick rabbit. Dr Hannah did everything she could do. We took our Pumpkin home, but during the night she took a turn to the worst. We called Saturday morning and got an appointment for 12.30, the practice closes at 13.00, when we saw Dr Hannah she decided to anisthacise our Pumpkin. She asked one of the nurses if she could stay on longer. Unfortunately our Pumpkins little heart gave way and she died. Dr Hannah called me and broke the news gently. I'm very happy, even in such hard time, with the service provided.

From our very first visit in February this year "Stompi" (cat) and I were made so welcome and this made me feel at ease. I was so worried about about "Stompi" he really was a poorly cat, he's 14 years of age now so i naturally thought the worse. I went in to see "Hannah" she examined "Stompi" He had to have a few tests done.. Turned out to be Diabetes! So i went to again to talk about his treatment, diet and shown how to give Insulin etc. He is still having more tests! All i can say is Thank Goodness "Stompi" is in wonderful hands with "Hannah" also "Sam" (nurse) she has taught me a lot "Thank you.. The lovely Agata & Joanna (Receptionists) Nothing is too much for any of them, i have made a good few phone calls in the past few weeks, i couldn't wish for better! "Hannah" You're the BEST! Much Love & Thanks from me (Meows & Purrs) from "Stompi" (Hugs) I would HIGHLY Recommend every Pet owner to use this Vets 100%

I had a wonderful experience bringing my kitten Arya in for her vaccinations. The receptionist was lovely and got loads of good advice.

I thought they were good but I feel that they are a bit overcharging and have doubt about their experience and knowledge lately. So I have changed my vet to somewhere else.
