Kathryn has a special affinity and calming influence with animals. Our cats picked up on her positive energy and took to her straight away; which made for a great, stress-free experience. She gives very good and honest advice, explaining everything really clearly. She is certainly the nicest, most caring and trustworthy vet we’ve met during 32 years of pet ownership. We've been using Kathryn Scourfield as our at-home vet since we brought our dog home 18 months ago and she has been flawless. She can't do a neutering on our kitchen table, clearly, so she worked with a veterinary surgery to sort all that. A visiting vet strikes me as a much better option than dragging your dog to a place which it associates with scary smells and sad dogs and pain.

My cat was very old and ill during the first lockdown and Scourfield Vets (Katherine) came to our home to put her to sleep. It meant a lot to me and my daughter for our family pet to go at home and not to have to put her in a basket and take her to a surgery for a socially distanced procedure and passing. I have used Scourfield since with my new rescue cat. He was a stray and big and a bit swipey! Having a vet who can come to him at home has been part of him settling into his new home. I have been very grateful for telephone advice as well as the home visits. I would not change to a surgery based service now.

First time I used an at home veterinary visit for my very shy cat. I wish I had known about it earlier. My cat was much less stressed than going into a clinic and the vet who came was lovely and genuinely interested in her.

Needed the vet recently for a bit of an emergency with my cat, and the vet was here within an hour. Clearly explained what the issue (probably) was, and left some medication. Probably a life saver, in this instance! Came back a couple of weeks later for her annual checkup and boosters and spent time with the cat ensuring everything was fine and back to normal, on top of the usual checks that they do. And the cherry on the cake is that she's cheaper than my old vet who wouldn't do homevisits during lockdown! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kathryn is the most incredible vet. I sadly had to have my cat put down last week and Kathryn was utterly wonderful. I was let down by my vet only a few hours before they were due to visit. Their only recommendation was to attend the clinic, which I didn't want. My cat gets very stressed at the vets and turns aggressive. I called and spoke to Poppy who was sympathetic to my situation. Kathryn attended that day, only a few hours after my phonecall. She went through everything with me step by step and ensured I was ready at each step. She took time to talk to me and get to know my cat. She was so gentle with him. She gave him the peaceful and dignified end he deserved. He took his last breaths in his favourite bed, in his own home with me at his side.
