Our dog developed an eye infection over weekend, I called Wolfe Vets Chiswick for the first time onMonday 26.07.2021, the secretary was kind enough to squeeze an appointment at the end of the list and later managed to give an appointment sooner due to a cancellation The Vet did the examination and clinical diagnosis correctly and prescribed Antibiotic eye drops. He then opened the box of the eye drops and gave the first dose of the eye drops to our dog However once at home, I was disappointed to find out that the eye drops were not new as there were signs of usage; the bottle was half full and it missed the plastic security ring around the neck of the bottle. The box of the eye drops was tatty with sign of usage (one can distinguish a used box from a new box) I am not sure If this was an intentional act as otherwise it would not be professional. According to the medical regulations and safety issues no used fluid medication should be used for another patient. The current remaining amount of the eye drop solution will not be sufficient to complete the course of treatment, I have now to take our dog to another Vet for another consultation and prescription paying once again for the treatment. Unfortunately the initial good impression was overshadowed by the later discovery.

Staff are always friendly and ready to help - through good times and bad. But most importantly they take the care of your beloved furry friend seriously- couldn’t trust anyone more with their care. Thank you team! All the vets are great but a special shout out to the girls at reception for dealing with my crazy anxiety when I visit! ❤️

We brought our puppy to Wolfe vets after reading the reviews, as we were not very happy with our old vet practice. We were not disappointed. James and his team are brilliant, they have taken excellent care of our puppy in a number of occasions. The most recent one was when he needed urgent care due to an infection. Thank you for everything!

Had a disappointing visit a few months back to which James was wonderful and super quick to respond. Recently I have returned to the practice, and honestly can say this is the best vets in the area, and would not recommend anywhere else. They truly care for all types of animals and won't be put off by even the most challenging of pets, they don't judge and are just there to support and care for your fur babies. It is the calmest my little one has ever been in the vets and they were understanding when he chose to make some noise and took their time with him, making sure he was as comfortable as he could be in what he finds a super stressful environment. I have to thank the team and apologies for my previous upset, it must have been a bad day and I intend to be more understanding in future as I really appreciate the service and time given on our recent visit and look forward to seeing the team again in the new year.0

I can't recommend Wolfe Vets highly enough. James and his team have been amazing after we brought our cat milo to their practice in a critical state.They kept us informed and updated throughout the process until milo was fully recovered. They even allowed us to visit him and were fully honest and open about the situation.

My dog has a phobia of vets from before we had him, and in the 4 years I have had him, I had never before been able to manage a successful vet visit where we accomplished what we set out to do. When he injured his dew claw, we were at a loss as to what to do to help him. We visited Wolfe Vets for the first time and they did an amazing job with him. Through their calm and confident manner, they treated the problem and helped work with him to overcome his fear of the vet. Amazing work, and I’m so thankful to have found them!

We needed a great vet to support us, as we had a sensitive situation and were very cautious about which vet to go to, so we went to Wolfe vets on recommendation from our vet friend who is now living abroad. They really went above and beyond from when we called, trying to find a time they could squeeze us in last minute today as our dog Wookie just passed away after a cesarean at an emergency vet hospital elsewhere and we wanted to check her orphan puppies are OK. All staff handled us with amazing sensitivity, compassion and empathy, they were so sweet and caring, they were all really lovely people. The vet we saw, Georgia, was so helpful, gave us great information and advice and was so caring. We then also spoke to a great nurse who gave us very in depth advice and answered all our questions patiently to help us care for them and made us feel at ease at a time when we are all very fragile. Feel so grateful to them all and that we have found such a great vet to take our babies from now on! They really aren't like any vet I have ever visited, really great staff, it's so clean, but also a great atmosphere and I trust they do everything they can to help and do their best job! Thank you all so much, we look forward to bringing our babies back to you for their check ups!

I chose Wolfe Vets having read the reviews here and am so glad I did. I have a new puppy and it's also my first dog. James and the team were amazingly patient with the pup and me! All members of the team we met were lovely and tried their absolute best to keep my little pup relaxed. Have signed up to the Wolfe Pack which is great value. Slightly concerned I'm going to spend too much money on the cool stuff for sale as I bring the pup in for vaccinations over the next couple of weeks! Thanks again and see you soon.

Fantastic vets with a great atmosphere and happy, knowledgeable staff. We brought our puppy whippet for her second vaccines as I had concerns at another vets. As new dog owners we had a million and one questions, queries and worries. Georgie was great and gave us simple, direct advice (with humour!). We left feeling great and our pup wanted to go straight back in for more treats and attention. Highly highly recommend.

James looked after our cats when he was at his previous practise. He is a fabulous vet!! I heard that he’d set up his own practise on the High Road via Next Door. James has the most up to date equipment and can also cover 24/7 which the previous vets couldn’t so we had to go elsewhere for emergencies. Now we don’t. Jame is an excellent vet and he took the time to show us all around the new premises. Very impressive. Well done James!!

He takes pride in what he does, has a natural affinity with the animals but also with the people he works with. Our puppy is no longer anxious about attending appointments and that speaks volumes. New and state of the art practice. Really professional team. Health issues are explained clearly as is the course of treatment. Definitely feel you are in safe hands here with people who are passionate about pets and their welfare. The Wolfe Pack scheme also ensures you get a reduction in fees as well as regular flea treatment etc. My pet only had one treatment but the insurance claim was handled really quickly by Wolfe Vets without me getting involved. Great veterinary practice & a real asset to Chiswick

So it was my first time with the vets. I took my fluff babies, fifi and keeya. I was nervous as I felt often rushed or dismissed by previous vets. But I was very suprised to not find that here. The vet listened to all my concerns and provided me with really good advise. The care shown to my girls was very important for me as well. It wasn’t all prodding and poking but stoking and kisses thrown in. The receptionist team was lovely too but there was one called Dominique who was amazing. I had a mini melt down (not rude towards her but just very stressed) as I left my phone and card at home. It was near closing and I wasn’t going to be able to come back and collect my pets meds, but she allowed me to collect my thoughts and complete the registration of the Wolfe pack. Always kept a smile on her face and didn’t make me feel bad. I only just found out that they have only been operating for a year! Amazing! They are 30 mins away from me but worth the travel

Absolutely amazing place! They let us take Arya in for a visit so she can familiarise with the place. Our puppy was 8 weeks and not fully vaccinated but they let us do a tour around the place (in a sling) and recommended she comes in to see the vet is a lovely place! They gave us a tour of the place and it is outstanding. All the staff are lovely and helpful from the receptionist to the nurses and doctors. They have a nice shop in the front for cats and dogs with plenty of treats! Cats and dog waiting room are separate which is nice! The interior inside is amazing. Great independent vet! Happy we are part of a great vet! Parking is easy too.

We have been 3x times to the practise already with one dog who is extremely scared of the vets for his vaccinations and it was best experience we have had with him at the vets for over 4 years. Our second visit was with other dog was out of hours emergency due to back issue. James was able to get to the vets really quickly and organise the appointment for our of hours easily. This was our first time visiting. It was an emergency and James saw us straight away. He was really great with our puppy and very thorough, he even called the next morning which was a Sunday to check on our pup which was lovely. We came to Wolfe vets needing some dental work for our cat after not being satisfied with the level of care or communication at our previous vets. James and his staff were kind and considerate keeping us up to date and communicated clearly the stages and reasoning for treatments. We were allowed to view the "patient's" accommodation and the operating area to put our minds at ease, it cost then nothing but meant a lot to us. We have found during the various covid-19 lockdowns and restrictions, Wolfe vets were accessible and have provided us with quality care we are so pleased to have found them!

We have a 12 year old Keeshond troubled with Ostearthritis and we have been well supported by Dr James B. Milo has needed infra-articular injections and dental treatment under anaesthesia and we have been impressed with the quality of care & professionalism of the team. Everyone from reception , the nursing team & Dr B clearly have a love for animal wellbeing and this underpinning value is evident as a service user and very much appreciated.

Absolutely brilliant team, not just James and Viktoria but the nurses too. My husky boy had a cruciate ligament surgery and being a husky he is not the easiest one to handle during any type of vet visits. He stayed overnight and the team updated us multiple times and also let us in to comfort him (and ourselves ofc) so we knew exactly what’s going on. All is just professional, well oiled, empathetic and the best is that the surgery has pretty much every equipment in house. It was about time to open a surgery like this in Chiswick. While Wolfe Vets is new to Chiswick, Wolfe Vets' primary veterinarian James has been looking after our dog for more than 4 years. He has provided excellent care for both minor issues such as an ear infection and more serious problems such as removing a broken tooth. Our dog loves James; the only downside for us is the difficulty in getting our dog to walk past Wolfe without stopping in for a visit (and a treat). The facilities are top notch with a spacious waiting area and easy to use consulting rooms. They also stock some great treats and toys.

They acted incredibly quickly; advised us of the situation and options several times a day; were able to use their hospital facilities and testing whenever needed; stayed with Pippa over two nights; and even washed Pippa’s bed.
