Always difficult to write a review about something as heart-breaking as this, however Nigel and Time 2 Say Goodbye did such a good service for us that I feel I should. They were attentive and informative throughout, and the actual event was done well and with a huge amount of dignity. If you are in the unfortunate situation where you have to use this service, I couldn't recommend Time 2 Say Goodbye enough and think it is a better option than taking your animal into the vets and the inevitable stress that comes with that.
Thank you Nigel for making a hard day better.

It's been the hardest time of my life, Nigel was most caring and understanding gentleman, it was the hardest goodbye I've ever had but he made the end pain free, relaxing and peaceful for my beautiful little Lola, she was battling spinal cancer and gave it a run for it's money, I would recommend Nigel he made it stress free for her and he was a great comfort to us as a family, I want to say thank you to Nigel and his wife for making my wish of Lola being layed to rest at home surrounded by her family, I would give more than 5 stars if it was possible.

3 weeks ago, we as a family experienced the most devastating blow that our beloved Rhea had a terrible health complaint that could not be put right. My daughter found Time2SayGoodbye and we couldn't have asked for a more compassionate, kind and professional company. Angela was so understanding over the phone and Nigel was the best person we could have asked for to see Rhea on her way with all the family around her giving her love and reassurance and her brother Barney being able to say his goodbyes. We have experienced this being done at the vets with our past pets and were so glad that for Rhea we said goodbye to her on her favourite bed in the surroundings she knew and the family that loved her by her side. Nigel did not rush us, but talked us through the process making sure we understood everything. The tears flowed and our hearts were broken but Nigel gave us all the time we needed. Thank you Angela and Nigel we are forever grateful xxx Tracey & family

Sadly our 13 year old dog's kidneys failed. Our vet did not give us the option of being present as she was put to sleep. Instead, we arranged for Nigel to come to our home and to put our beloved dog to sleep in comfort. It is horrific to lose a pet, but Nigel's professionalism and kindness made it easier for us as a family. For that we will be forever be grateful.

We brought Lucky home from hospital so that he would be comforted by his familiar surroundings. Nigel was kind, gentle, compassionate and reassuring. Our beloved companion went to sleep in the serenity of his garden with both of us by his side. Such a peaceful way to leave us, he was surrounded by love and treated with great dignity. Our heartfelt thanks go to Nigel and Angela for providing such a wonderful service.

We sadly were in need of the use of Nigel's service for our beloved Labrador. Nigel quickly came to us at a distressing time (for us) which meant that our dog didn't suffer at all. He had a very peaceful ending in his home surroundings - all made possible by Nigel who was incredibly kind and sympathetic. He also made all the arrangements with the crematorium who were equally professional and kind. We feel very blessed to have been able to say goodbye this way.

Pusskins had been with my family for nearly 20 years, so when her time came, the last kindness I could do for her was to save her the indignity of the dreaded journey in the cat box & waiting in the car park at my current vets. I was so grateful when a friend recommended Nigel, as he was able to come out to my home on the same day I called. He was professional & kind and treated her with the respect she deserved, allowing me time to say goodbye to our dear old friend. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nigel to anyone else in the same position

When it was time to put our Buddy to sleep due to his health, age and current condition, Nigel was very caring and sympathetic to our desire to do this, at home. We would thoroughly recommend Nigel and the compassionate service he provides at a very sad time for anyone’s family.

Our Dog Brinkley, took a turn for the worse after a long illness. As with all pets he was a big part of our family, and as it was time to say goodbye to him, COVID meant that we could not all be there at our regular vets.
Nigels service meant that we were able to all (myself/wife and three children) be there, in the comfort of his familiar surroundings, with him as he peacefully left us. I would recommend Nigel, he has been quick to respond and showed great empathy at this sad time.

It's hard to gather adequate words to describe a very sad but special memory that Nigel helped give us at the end to Jimmy's life. For any pet owner, having to think about whether you help a pet at the end of its life is very painful, only made a thousand times worse in the midst of this awful pandemic. Vets cannot support in the same way which makes things very stressful and can involve long wait times. Thankfully, someone recommended Nigel when Jimmy became very ill, very quietly and it was clear we only had one decision to make. Rather than a terrible drive to the vets, which would have caused Jimmy a great deal of upset, Nigel came out to our home within an hour and helped give Jimmy the best end to his life. He drifted off to sleep in the arms of his family, in his cosy bed by the cooker in his loving home. We could not have wished for more, every step of the way Nigel was compassionate, kind and sensitive to Jimmy and us. We can't thank him enough for helping us say goodbye to a dear family member at home. Jimmy was safe, comfortable and drifted off peacefully.

It was a very sad and emotional day, the day we decided that our beloved family dog should be put to sleep to ease his suffering and pain. Our dog deteriorated rapidly on a Saturday morning and we could not sit by and watch him suffer any longer. We called many vets only to be told due to Covid they could offer services to help but they would be done in the back of a car or the dog taken into their surgery without our family present. Neither was acceptable. I found Time2saygoodbye and thankfully I did. Nigel got back to me after I left a message and was out to our house that Saturday afternoon. Nigel explained everything very clearly and made us feel at ease with what was going to happen. Throughout the process Nigel gave us time to spend with our beloved family pet and after he had passed also gave us time with him. I know our dog did not suffer as Nigel was very professional and calm throughout. Nigel also took our dog away afterwards to where we wanted him to go. I cannot thank Nigel and Time2saygoodbye enough for the service he provided on that very sad day.

Hi Nigel,
Please see attached image and text below for your website.
Thank you again for your help.
It was with enormous sadness that we realised that our wonderful much loved family dog Dolce had reached the end of her life. This happened one cold and miserable night in January and despite our best efforts in our state of panic and confusion, we couldn't find a vet to come out to us. We tried to get her to the car to take her to a vet willing to meet us at their practice, but she was not willing to leave the house and it made it all the more upsetting. The vet then recommended we get in touch with Nigel and he was with us within the hour. My goodness, we couldn't have had a better, kinder, more compassionate experience during our final moments with Dolce. Everything was done quietly with the utmost care for Dolce and indeed for our family of four very upset adults.
All of this happened on the Thursday night and we were able to collect Dolce's ashes on the Saturday from Cherry Tree Pet Crematorium.
I highly recommend this at home service, it was exactly what we wanted for our beloved Dolce.

Our precious baby boy had the most loved 11 years and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to rest. We cannot fault Nigel in any way at all. We were anxious about the procedure because our baby had bad experiences with anaesthetic in the past, however Nigel had such a calming demeanour and reassured us every step of the way, it gave us so much trust, and our baby boy passed away so peacefully in his sleep. It could not have been more tragically beautiful. Thank you Nigel for helping us during his last moments.

After making a very tough decision, Nigel turned up within a couple of hours and was such a lovely gentleman. He explained everything so well and listened to everything we said. He gave us time to say goodbye which he promotes. Such a lovely passing for our beautiful boy. Nigel is a lovely caring and compassionate man. Thankyou for your kindness. I would recommend this service to anyone with much loved pets.

Gentleman came round and so caring. He gave our cat a pre jab to calm him down and then the final one.Charlie died peacefully in my wife’s arms in no pain. Very professional, thank you

I was highly recommended Nigel through a friend and was told he is just brilliant, I phoned Nigel and he came out that evening. Nigel came out to our house and put Diesel our beloved dog to sleep. Diesel was surrounded by us as a family and his sister in the comfort of his own home. Nigel I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your patience, understanding and loving nature. You were so gentle and reassuring. I am so grateful to you for coming to our house and letting us say goodbye to Diesel in the way we wanted to. I don’t know if I will ever be able to thank you enough for your services.

I will never find enough words to express how much Lils meant to us as a member of our family.
When the day came we were and are heart broken but we all get old eventually.
With lock-down we couldn't let Lils go on her own so finding Cherry tree has made such a dreadful time so much easier for us all.
Nigel was fantastic and Lils liked him which was very important to us thank you all for such a superb service priceless.

Can not speak more highly of Time2SayGoodbye, or recommend their services enough. We sadly had to say farewell to our pet dog on the weekend after his health deteriorated over the past week. Walking had become incredibly difficult for him. Trying to get an appointment to fit around work schedules was incredibly difficult, and increased the stress we were all feeling. Having been recommended Time2SayGoodbye by our local vet services, I am so happy and thankful to have this wonderful service. Despite the sad circumstances, Nigel made us feel comfortable, relaxed and calm throughout the whole process. He was present with us every step of the way, and made sure to explain everything that was going to happen. It wasn't rushed, it wasn't messy - it was peaceful, calm, private and personal. Nigel gave our dog the respect and dignity he so well deserved at the age of 11 years old. Nigel gave us quality time with our dog throughout and never once sped the process up. Its strange to say but, it was the perfect ending for a perfect dog. It was the departure any pet owner would wish and pray for their animal. This service is so highly recommended by us, and all at a very reasonable, valuable price. Can never thank Nigel and Time2SayGoodbye enough for the level of service and respect delivered to us at such a heartbreaking time. I thank this service always.

Nigel was brilliant, when our normal veterinary practice didn't want to do home visits and just 'read the rules', Nigel was there the same evening and gave us time with Benji in his final moments. A very peaceful and comfortable moment for our beloved dog who fought right to the end. x

My poor 17 year old dog was fitting and unable to walk without falling over.
She was very distressed and I did not want to have to put her through further distress by a car journey to the vet.
My vets are not doing home visits and some even do euthanasia in the car park!
I called time2saygoodbye and Dr Nigel Bradfield was with me within an hour to end my dogs suffering.
I always promised my dog she would not suffer at the end.
Please do not hesitate to call Nigel if your dog is suffering. He is a retired vet with years of experience and a very compassionate and kind nature and will tell you if it is not time for your dog to go.
He examined my dog first and offered advice about the different options.
Highly recommended. Thank you.

A wonderful service for the worst time any pet owner can face. Such kind people who cared for my little Toftof in the most gentle and unpressurised way. Having had horrible times losing my pets over the years this was a very different and not at all traumatic experience, just a gentle goodbye and a peaceful sleep. It made such a difference to be at home, with my little old girl in her own bed. 100% reccomended.

Nigel has provided us with a great service when our beloved Zoro could no longer move having reached the age of 17, by coming to our home and performing euthanasia in a familiar surrounding for Zoro. Nigel was both empathetic and professional, he managed to find the right balance between the two and made us feel very comfortable in a very difficult time for us, Zoro's last moments. We appreciate greatly and highly recommend.

From the moment we made the incredibly hard decision that it was time for our family to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Nigel and Angela from Time 2 Say Goodbye offered the most compassionate and heartfelt service.
On the day itself, Nigel was so understanding and calm throughout. He talked us through the process and answered any questions we had. The aftercare we have received since has been second to none and extremely thoughtful. We would highly recommend the services they offer.

I can't praise Nigel from Time2SayGoodbye highly enough. He came at short notice to put my mum's beloved dog, Ruby, to sleep at home so she was able to spend her last moments in her own bed with the people she loved. He was kind and considerate and my mum and I both appreciated his gentle, quiet manner both with Ruby and with us. Without Nigel and the service he offers, we would have faced a stressful visit to the vet to have Ruby PTS, which would have made what was an already traumatic experience so much worse. Nigel himself is a vet with many years' experience, so we knew Ruby was in safe hands. Thank you, Nigel. You do a sterling job and we have no hesitation in recommending you.

Received compassionate patient kindly care for our Princess during her passing moments, 'nothing was too much trouble, every care was taken to make the experience calm gentle and everything was checked carefully for her comfort, Nigel made the experience beautiful. My family and I are grateful to Nigel and his caring wife.

I couldn’t have wished for better service from the team at Time2SayGoodbye. Response time was second to none and Angela was so understanding and sympathetic. My cat Rocky absolutely hated the vets and I knew I didn’t want him to be distressed in his last moments. Nigel talked us through the whole procedure and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. Rocky couldn’t have fallen more peacefully, it was really worth every penny to be by his side. I would highly recommend the company to anyone who needed to make that tough decision for their beloved pets.

Our dear old cat Fred was helped by Nigel at our home recently. Wanting to avoid the stressful trip to the vets it was such a relief to find someone that understood and was able to help us. Fred was ready to go even though it is such a hard decision to make. Nigel advised me on the phone initially and helped me to make the final choice that was the best for Fred. He was able to come when we needed him and arranged everything else for us, which made it easier to be with Fred in his final moments with us. There is also a wonderful Memorial Wall on the website that we have used to remember Fred...Thank you so much to Nigel and Angela

Worth every penny to give our beautiful, elderly greyhound Sandy the most dignified and painless passing. We are so glad that we were recommended this service by somebody on Facebook because if we had brought her to the veterinary surgery, her last moments would have been full of fear and confusion and no doubt this would mean a lasting trauma and bad memories for us. Nigel has a great bedside manner, he patiently answered our questions and explained each stage of the process in detail. She slipped away without knowing it was the last time she would go to sleep. The best final gift we could give our dog. ***** Five stars.

We cannot thank Nigel enough for the kindness, care and compassion he showed us and our much loved cat Jasmine when we sadly had to say goodbye to her. Jasmine hated trips to the vets and we could not bear the thought of having to put her through all that extra stress and anxiety especially as she was so poorly. Nigel took all the time with us that we needed, explained everything, and was so gentle with Jasmine. Afterwards he gave us the time and space to spend some time alone with her to say our final goodbye, before gently wrapping her in her blanket and taking her on her final journey. We were also touched to receive a handwritten card in the post from Nigel several days later. We are absolutely heartbroken and are missing Jasmine terribly but we are comforted by the thought that she was able to pass away in the comfort of her own home surrounded by us, her family who loved her so much.

Ian came promptly this morning and made the whole process of euthanasia for our elderly dog Tilly, calm and very peaceful. We would highly recommend their excellent service.

Nigel was empathetic, compassionate, understanding, caring and professional. Nigel sat on the floor, and talked to us about our dog Pike, he didn't rush us and we were able to be with our darling boy throughout. It is far less stressful for an animal to be put to sleep in familiar surroundings with people around them that they know. I cannot thank Nigel enough for providing a service that many vets won't do through a pandemic.

We contacted Nigel as we needed to put our dog Flossie to sleep. Having sent an enquiry the night before, Nigel arrived the following morning. Knowing that Flossie was aggressive, he was able to talk us through how he would proceed. Nigel was incredibly professional, kind and understanding and made a very difficult situation more relaxed. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you.

So pleased that I was able to use this service when my own vet was unable to do a home visit. Nigel was very caring but professional, explaining what was happening at every stage. I am so glad we were able to give our very aged companion Benji the best ending to his life in his own surroundings and familiarity, a lot less stressful than a car journey to the vets and both myself and my daughter were able to be with him to the end

Happy/sad to share my experience of Nigel's service. Of course, I wish I hadn't had to contact him, but the thought of taking a 19 year old cat to the vets only to say goodbye to him on a cold doorstep, was impossible. Nigel, for this reason, quite frankly, was an angel, who was prepared to take the risk of coming to our home (during Covid) to help us say goodbye to our boy. The whole experience was responsive, sympathetic, reassuring, peaceful and compassionate. I will be forever grateful.

Knowing it was time to say goodbye to my German shepherd Max was made all the more stressful when I realised that my vets were not doing home due to Covid.
I spoke to my local pet crematorium who recommended Nigel.
Speaking to Nigel on the phone put my mind at ease as he was so caring and professional.
Nigel came to my home and did a thorough examination of Max. He was so calm and gentle and Max was totally relaxed during the examination.
We knew that it was his time to go and Nigel made the whole experience so much easier. Max was surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home and passed peacefully. It was calm and not rushed at all and Nigel was so lovely. I cannot praise him high enough.
Finally our beloved animals can have the dignified peaceful ending that they truly deserve without the stress of travel and small waiting rooms and appointment time restrictions.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful service you provide and I know that we would not want to say goodbye in any other way in the future.

During the Covid restrictions my vet was unable to attend my home to put my dog Lola to sleep after a very long illness. Nigel was recommended as an alternative and surpassed all expectations. He was instantly responsive, able to fit in with our schedule and his service offered aftercare which although I didn’t use was actually with a crematorium that we had used for a previous pet. On the day he was very good with me and my family as well as treating Lola with compassion and care.
I fully recommend Nigel, his service is first class.

Saying goodbye to a much loved pet is the hardest thing any owner will ever have to face. Nigel's obvious compassion for animals and sensitivity helped tremendously, making a traumatic experience as peaceful and dignified as it could possibly be. I will always be grateful that we were able to say goodbye to our little girl in the way that we did in our own home and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone faced with the same awful dilemma. In these troubling times with all sorts of restrictions around veterinary practises the service he is able to provide is more important than ever.

We recently had to make the heart breaking decision to say goodbye to our family member, Oscar. We were let down by the vet at the last minute who decided he could not come to the house due to being in theatre. The thought of taking Oscar to the vet, knowing he would be very stressed in his final moments, was not an option. I contacted Nigel and he came out that very morning. He was lovely and made the awful situation that little bit easier. Oscar was in his favourite spot in the garden looking at the trees when he passed. Nigel explained the process to us and it was not rushed, Oscar went peacefully which is exactly what we wanted for such a special dog.
Nigel then took great care getting Oscar into his car to take him to Cherry tree's for his cremation. We were able to pick Oscar up the same day to bring him home - where he belongs. Thank you Nigel for the care you showed us and Oscar, it really did make all the difference.

I have had pets since 1970. Every time I have had a pet put to sleep it has been at the vets. A very distressing and agonising experience, despite how good the vets were. In May 2020 I had to hand one of my cats over to the vets in the car park. It broke my heart. Just over 2 weeks ago one of my rescue dogs succumbed to his illness. The vets could not come out so they suggested Time2SayGoodbye. Nigel came that same night. I will never ever take my precious pets to the vets again. Nigel was so kind, understanding and compassionate, the whole experience was calm and peaceful. Thank you Nigel

Last month we sadly had to say goodbye to our darling dog Diesel. A heart breaking enough decision to make made a million times worse because of the COVID lockdown with no home visits being carried out by our vet. I wanted Diesel to be at home, in his familiar surroundings (on the sofa, his favourite place) and with the family when he passed. He was a member of our family for over 13 years and it was the least that he deserved. I actually found Nigel’s details using a Google search. Nigel is completely professional and compassionate. He ensured Diesel was comfortable and resting so we could say our final farewells to him. I highly recommend Nigel/Time2SayGoodbye and I am so grateful he gave Diesel a gentle, pain free and peaceful passing at home.

We found Nigel/ Time2saygoodbye on a Google search after an awful night when our beloved dog became desperately unwell. Nigel arrived less than 90 minutes after my initial call and we were immediately reassured by his kindness and professionalism. He explained everything to us and gave us space and time to say our final goodbyes. Nigel made the dreaded ending as good as it could possibly be - gentle and extremely peaceful in the comfort, privacy and familiar surroundings of home; it was such a comfort to be able to hold our boy while he quietly slipped away. I would recommend Time2saygoodbye without hesitation.

On the 17th March 2021 we had to make the decision we had been dreading for 15 and half years. We knew is was time to say goodbye to our beloved boy Branston. We had researched extensively since we got a cancer diagnosis the previous November. Nigel at Time 2 Say Goodbye stood out straight away and we knew we had found the right person.
We really didn’t want to pre-book the day as we couldn’t bear the thought of knowing exactly when it was going to happen, so we made contact with Nigel and got all our questions answered and were reassured that he would be able to get to us when we needed him. It turned out to be the next morning when Branston told us it was the right time. We called Nigel and he could come over straight away which was what was needed. Writing a review for such an awful thing is not easy, but if it helps others going through the same as us we want to share our experience and recommend Time 2 Say Goodbye.
When Nigel arrived at our house he was very calm and made the whole process exactly how we wanted and needed it. He explained clearly what was going to happen and allowed us the space to be able to hold Branston until the end. It really made such a difference having Branston at home and that little bit of extra time to say goodbye.

When it became apparent our much-loved spaniel had reached the end of the road, we very much wanted to give him the least traumatic ending possible. Unfortunately, Covid restrictions not only mean owners are unable to be with pets in surgeries, but also that vets are unable to make home visits. It was an enormous relief then to find Nigel. He was very quick to respond to my initial call, and professional and kind in all his dealings with us and our dog. As a result, Mungo had a very peaceful end, and we were consoled by knowing he had slipped away happily in his own bed, surrounded by his humans. Would definitely recommend.

Making the decision to say goodbye to our dog Blizzard was one of the hardest things I've had to do. Nigel made the whole process as easy as possible for us and his compassion to putting our dog to sleep made it as easy as it could be.
I'd really recommend anyone that has to make this difficult in the future to contact Nigel for his help.

In this unprecedented times we found Nigel to help us say a very sad goodbye to our Murphy. He had doggie dementia and we didn't want to put him through the stress of a vet visit where he would be even more confused. We got to say goodbye at home with a professional, service from Nigel who I would highly recommend. Alot of tears but honestly the best way to say goodbye. Thank you.

I've nothing but very, very positive things to say about Nigel (Time2SayGoodbye). We couldn't have asked for more in saying goodbye to our wonderful friend and companion, Brussel. During a lockdown we were scared that we wouldn't be able to be with him, but Nigel enabled us to have our dear Brussel on our laps as he passed. I honestly can't thank Nigel enough and would have paid anything to have said goodbye this way. Thank you very much, Nigel. Not only were you very professional, but you were kind, patient and respectful. And we really appreciated the personalised card you sent afterwards too. Sincere thanks.

Our beloved Jack Russell, Trouble, had to be euthanized due to illness and old age. Arrangements were made for the vet to come to our home, where the family could be with our dog, as he was peacefully put to sleep. Nigel was very kind and gentle. He took time to answer questions and tell us what we needed to know and respectfully gave us time and space to say goodbye.

Nigel arrived promptly. Allowed as much time as needed to say goodbye to our beloved dog. The whole process was clearly explained and carried out in a dignified manner with the empathy and respect that Grace so deserved

I had to make the decision all animal lovers dread and have my 17 Yr old dog put to sleep last Friday.
Nigel came and Lulu was put to sleep in my arms in the garden.
Nigel was here nearly an hour and gave me time to say goodbye her.
Nothing was too much trouble and it was very peaceful.
Nigel also took her to the pet crematorium and I was able to collect her the following day.
I would very much recommend this company should you have to make that final decision to have your pet put to sleep

Nigel was amazing and obviously has a calling for this work. He was so good with our boy Sidney. He took his time with us and ensured Sidney had a very peaceful passing. We're heartbroken that he is no longer with us but he is no longer in pain. Thank you Nigel for helping us do the hardest but kindest thing for our boy.

At a very sad time in our lives we have to say that we would highly recommend Time 2 Say Goodbye. Nigel visited our home when our dog was really poorly (and the vets wouldn't come out), I can't say we could have had anyone nicer, he was patient, compassionate, explained what we needed to know but let us have time with Tufty before he had to have a very long sleep, it meant that the whole family could be together, so that Tufty wasn't stressed, upset or lonely in his last hour of need. It's never easy to say goodbye to a loved one but Nigel made it as easy as he could and we would use his services again and highly recommend him

We cannot thank Nigel enough for helping our beautiful boy Tarquin to pass over onto his next journey, peacefully and with dignity. Nigel was calm throughout and gave us as much time as we needed. A service that I would highly recommend to anyone that has to say goodbye to their beloved animals. Being at home is the right place for any animal to pass. Being calm in their last moments is so important. It takes out the stress of having to drive to the vets and be in a clinical setting and with the covid situation, often the vets are not allowing you in. With this service that Nigel is offering and his expertise your animals could not be in better hands in there last moments. Once again , thank you Nigel, it certainly made things a little easier in saying goodbye.

We would like to Thank Nigel for the service he provided in taking care of our beloved companion Tyson, sadly had to be put to sleep.
We contacted 'Time to say goodbye' for a peaceful, respectful goodbye for our Rottweiler.
Tyson was in the comfort of his own home with us.
Vet Nigel ensured our poorly dog had no stress or discomfort, Tyson went to sleep on his favourite rug peacefully with his family around him.
Nigel gave us the time to say goodbye privately also then Ty, was taken to the pet cemetery for cremation.
We totally recommend this service provided by Time 2 say goodbye. Covid safe professional.
C. I.
Smokie our much loved border collie was suffering from lymphoma and the kindest thing was for us to say goodbye to a good friend. Nigel's service was fantastic on the day and allowed him to go to sleep in his own home with me and my wife by his loyal side as he went to sleep.
S. W.
Nigel was so compassionate and kind when we sadly had to ask for his service to let go of our adored family friend and dog, our Lenny. Despite pleading with vets to help no one would come to our house and Nigel provided the best service you could ask for in very very difficult times. Highly recommend.
J. T.
Was very impressed with the level of care given by Nigel. He was very kind and sympathetic, and my dog felt at ease with him. He provides a kind and personal service in your own home which is much appreciated at such a difficult time. I will recommend him to friends and family. Thank you Nigel
V. J.
I phoned Nigel and explained to him that my dog Freddie was terminally ill and needed putting to sleep that day. Nigel was so kind and understanding over the phone. Freddie was peacefully put the sleep that evening in the comfort of his own home. I couldn’t of asked for a better way for my dog to end his life. My only option at the vets was to do it down an alleyway due to the restrictions of covid and not being allowed in the practice. Thank you Nigel for providing such a much needed service, especially during the pandemic.

So pleased we chose Time2SayGoodbye. Our dear Tipsy was very poorly and Nigel was so sensitive and professional. We were very upset and Nigel took time to kindly explain everything to us and made Tipsy's passing a gentle and peaceful experience.

When it was time for me to say goodbye to my dear cat, I was distraught because vets were telling me that they were not doing home visits right now (during the Covid restrictions). I couldn't bear the thought of taking my cat elsewhere to be put to sleep, but fortunately Time2SayGoodbye were recommended to me, and it was the best thing that could have happened. Nigel is a very skilled and caring vet. He was totally sensitive to my beloved pet and myself. I can't thank him enough. Don't hesitate to use Time2SayGoodbye. It's worth every penny, I promise.

This is the hardest thing we have had to do but Nigel talked us through the process. This gave us confidence in his service. Nigel was calm and kind when he was with us, reassuring both us and Lilly through the process. Highly recommend this service so that your beloved pet is in the comfort of his own home. X

I'm so grateful to Nigel, to be able to give our beloved dog a peaceful passing at home was truly a comfort. Really kind, professional, helpful, supportive and informative throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend and I can't thank him enough.

Nigel was an absolute hero in what was obviously a very difficult time for us. He came promptly and quietly- our dog was in our bed and she didnt even notice him come in. We all wore masks to be covid safe but he was happy to come into our home and there was no awkwardness at all. He discussed everything with us calmly and clearly- we never felt rushed into anything. He gave Tessie an injection to sedate her and take away the pain. Again she didnt seem to notice. We were able to carry her out into the garden to say goodbye to all her favourite haunts. We then came back and Nigel gave her the final injection and she passed away with us all cuddling her - my daughter even sang her a song. We all felt relaxed and I cant tell you how comforting it still is to us all that we shared those last moments together in a positive stress-free way. I recommend Nigel 100%.

We highly recommend Nigel’s service, very prompt and responsive.
Nigel is so kind and understanding, everything is explained in detail and will only proceed when you are ready.
Nigel has a calm and relaxing nature which we really appreciated at a really difficult time, this we believe is a better way to say ‘goodbye’ to your beloved pet.

We were heart broken to lose Bailey, our 14 year-old Labrador but in spite of CoVid, Nigel came to our home and helped us to give him a dignified and peaceful passing. I will never forget Nigel’s compassion and support to our family. Thank you so very much.

We received the devastating news that our dog Rolo has a massive tumour on her spine which was crippling it meaning Rolo was unable to walk. We go into contact with Nigel and he was very helpful and assured us that Rolo would be able to go to sleep peacefully and pain free. Nigel was caring and respectful allowing us to say our final goodbyes to Rolo while also comforting her.
We as a family want to thank Nigel for helping us out and allowing Rolo to pass where she loved to be most , around her family and her bed.
If you have to unfortunately make the decision to euathanase you beloved pet and wish for it to be done at home I recommend you contact Nigel at time2saygoodbye.
Once again thank you Nigel for your consideration

I just wanted to say how grateful iam for the service provided by Nigel.
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend.
He is very caring and a reassuring person at a time when it is difficult to say your last goodbye to your precious one.
I can't thank him enough for the time he took when he recently visited me.
Professional and very caring, nothing was too much trouble and i felt very much at ease.
Its such a difficult time to say goodbye, but it was done with dignity and a very caring nature, which helped made an emotional time just that little bit easier. For me a far more comforting approach than going to my vets.
It was a very peaceful end to my cats 19 and half years and provided me with comfort knowing he is now at rest with no pain. I miss my baby boy so much

After our initial phone call to Nigel his response was rapid as promised. On his arrival he was very professional and caring which helped us overcome a very upsetting day resulting in our much loved dog Lottie sadly leaving us. He took care of all our needs including liasing with Cherry Tree Crematorium on our behalf. He was very caring and informative throughout the process which helped our family greatly on this very sad day .

Thank you Nigel for caring and the kindness you showed to Mitsie our beautiful German Shepherd and us at this sad time. The procedure you used was completely pain free and she slipped peacefully to sleep in one of her favourite places. We are very grateful to you for coming so quickly. Thank you once again for everything you did. The card was also much appreciated.

Nigel came to our home to help our dear boy Henry on his final journey, and his kindness and empathy will be forever ingrained in my mind.
There was no rush and all was peaceful for our 14 year old Basset Henry, thank you Nigel from the bottom of my heart, I can't put into words how grateful we all are for helping us at such a sad and devastating time.

Dolly went in the most peaceful way possible. It was a very heartbreaking day and one that me and my family didn’t want to happen, but Nigel and his team made it as calm and peaceful as possible for Dolly in her final hours. I would recommend anyone who was considering this option to please use this service as we have been so thankful for it xx

When we reached the decision it was to say goodbye to our adorable 15 year old Scooby due to her health we were luckily recommended by our vets to Time2SatGoodbye who could not do a home visit at the time. We wanted Scooby to be relaxed in her own surroundings, which is a lot less stressful than a car journey to the vets. Nigel responded to our call and was able to get to us swiftly, he is very caring but professional, and took time to explain what was happening at every stage. Scooby had the best send off we could give her and so grateful to Nigel for his compassion,

When it comes to saying goodbye to your best friend… there is nowhere and nobody I’d rather to have gone to than Nigel @Time2SayGoodbye. My dog was rather large, and unable to stand at the end of his life, he went beside his pack members and family, and he’d have it no other way, the service is professional, perfectly empathetic and understanding, and I find this to be the most natural pain-free way to go.

One of the hardest decisions to make, and one of the worst experiences to go through. Nigel and Angela made the whole process the easiest it could be for all of us and Rosie. Un-hurried and Nigel showed true compassion and professionalism, and Rosie drifted to sleep with her dignity.
I couldn't recommend these enough, again a painful situation made the easiest it could be. From all of us thank you!

I had the unfortunate need to call an out of hours vet for my beloved elderly greyhound who suddenly fell very ill. Nigel let me know the cost at the time, which was reasonable. He was there in no time and his empathy and professionalism was second to none in my time of need. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him, if anyone is in the same situation.

Thank you so much Nigel for making such a heart breaking situation less painful . You were so kind and helped us to say good bye to our beautiful Beau in a calm gentle way. We would have no hesitation in recommending you knowing just how kind and caring you were. Thank you.

Nigel responded at short notice to our request. He was compassionate and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye. He explained all steps in detail and reassured us about the process. We would highly recommend Nigel.

During the Covid lockdown I was notified by my elderly mother that her aging cat, Tiny, had collapsed and was in pain. No local vet would attend her home address and there was no-one near to my mother to assist with transport. On contacting Nigel at Time2saygoodbye, he immediately drove to my mothers and ended Tiny's suffering. My mother greatly appreciated Nigel's compassionate and professional approach.

Couldn’t fault Nigel and the service he provided. The whole family felt emotional and Nigel enabled us to spend our final moments with Sky at home. I would recommend the service we received to anyone in a similar situation.

Nigel very kindly managed to get to us on a Sunday evening when our cat was really suffering and we didn't want her to suffer any longer. She very much hated being handled even when she was healthy so taking her to a vet just to end her suffering felt cruel, and it looked unlikely that she'd survive until we managed to get to an appointment anyway.
Being able to do the whole thing within a few hours and without moving her was such a relief. He checked her over and reassured us that we were doing the right thing. He explained the whole process and took her to the crematorium afterwards.
I'd very much recommend considering at-home euthanasia for your pet when the time comes. Obviously nothing makes it a pleasant experience, but this felt like the least painful way to do it for everybody's sake.

Nigel came to our house today to help our 15 yr old Rottweiler Vinnie
Nigel was very professional and understanding and calm explaining what was going to happen
He took his time and allowed us to say our goodbyes
I couldn’t recommend them highly enough
My boy is now pain free and running in heaven looking after our rainbow babies
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

We approached Time2SayGoodbye when our usual vet withdrew his home visit option owing to Covid 19. It is always difficult parting with a much loved pet but Nigel took time to fully explain the process, was gentle and calm with our cat who died peacefully and stress free in the bedroom where she had been born 15 years earlier. Following our experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Thank you Nigel. Our lurcher Millie meant so much to us, but after 17 years the time had come to do the best for her. The way you explained what would happen and your professional and caring approach made things more bearable for us. Thank you for making a difficult day so much easier.
