We booked our two cats in for three nights. It was their first time away from home since we adopted them so we were a little bit anxious. As soon as we met Helen all our worries evaporated and we knew she would take excellent care of our cats. The facilities are fantastic - lots of room for the cats to play and lots of toys/stimulation for them as well. They enjoyed their time here so much I don’t think they wanted to come home! I cannot recommend The Cats Other Mother highly enough and we will definitely be bringing our cats for another stay next time we are away

We had only had Reggie about 4 months before we had to put him in boarding as we picked him up from a rescue centre but already had a pre-booked holiday. Reggie had been through a hard time and was in a bad state when we first saw him so I was nervous about having to board him as he had only just got used to us. I came across The Cats Other Mother whilst scouring the Internet and it jumped out as the most stylish place I had seen. Once I met Helen and saw the place first hand I knew I didn't need to worry. Helen is lovely and absolutely devoted to cats and the rooms in the hotel are incredible and spacious with plenty of toys and stimulating activities to keep the cats busy and active on their holidays. Helen and her team pay the cats a lot of attention and this helped Reggie settled in quickly she also sends regular updates, pictures and videos to put your mind at rest. Reggie has stayed three times so far and is booked in twice more this year and once next year so far. There are slightly cheaper options out there but trust me the care they receive and the environment the cats are in is worth the extra, I wouldn't board Reggie anywhere else now.

Samson and Nala spent 5 months with Helen and Jan, we initially thought it would only be a few weeks until we bought our house. It was an emotional time being separated from our fur babies, Helen and Jan cared for us as well as our cats, we visited often and always had a cup of tea and a chat. The rooms are amazing with lots of toys to keep them stimulated, they changed rooms for a change of scenery, Samson has a history of having a sensitive stomach and was fed top quality food, their emotional needs were met with lots of daily cuddles, we were kept updated and any problems Helen would let us know. Helen and Jan have a genuine passion for cats, we were so happy with their care. The day we picked them up was emotional for all, Samson and Nala are now settled in our new house and we will always be so grateful for the love and care of our fur babies. The BEST cat hotel! Our Minnie has stayed 3 times now and she’s clearly a happy, confident, cheeky kitty whilst shes there on her holidays, we even wonder if she wants to come home or stay with Helen 😂 Speaking of Helen, she’s absolutely amazing and spends lots of time with the cats giving them lots of care and attention. She also sends update pics to let you know how much of a great time your cats having! The rooms are spacious and homely with huge window and catios and the attention to detail is fabulous. Minnies a fussy eater and only eats one brand of food but much to our delight she even came away with a new favourite cat food! Thanks Helen, Minnie can’t wait for her next stay! 5/5 stars! ⭐️

I was nervous about leaving my fur baby but after meeting Helen and viewing the boutique hotel, she really put my mind at rest. Izzy has just had her first stay and I came home to a very relaxed and happy kitty and getting updates and photos while I was away really helped my own peace of mind. What can I say. It’s like the Ritz for cats. Helen and her lovely Mum are so caring. My Molly is 19 years old and has thyroid issues. I was recommended The Cats Other Mother and was told I had to see it to believe it. That was so true: from my 1st email explaining my circumstances Helen instantly put me at ease, and I felt warmth & care with her reply. I booked a visit as I have never used a cattery before, and as I was driving up I knew instantly I would love it and I was right. The rooms are spacious and are set up for every cats needs. I did a trial 2 nights and Molly didn’t want to leave. I then booked in 11 nights, and received regular updates, which were great. I 100% trusted Helen & her mum, and Molly isn’t the most easy cat to deal with, but she loved her holiday. Nothing is to much trouble. I honestly can’t recommend The Cats Other Mother highly enough.

Like many pet parents, we were nervous about leaving our kitty at a cattery but after speaking with Helen and seeing the facilities at The Cats Other Mother, we felt reassured we had chosen the right place and the right people with Helen and Jan. The updates from Helen put our minds at ease that Sylvie was doing well and when we picked her up after her holidays, we could see how happy she had been spending time with Helen and Jan. Sylvie had also clearly enjoyed playing in her gorgeous room with all the toys, home comforts and all the high peeking places that an adventurous and inquisitive kitty could need. It's obvious to us that Helen and Jan care so passionately about the kitties they take care of and look after them like they are their own. We feel Sylvie is part of a bigger family at The Cats Other Mother and would always choose for her to stay there over any other place. I can’t recommend Cat’s Other Mother highly enough. I was so worried about leaving my cat for first time ever but from moment I arrived with Mabel I felt completely happy and reassured to leave her with Helen and knew she would have a lovely cat holiday! The building is immaculate and each room is individually laid out with plenty of activities, a window ledge and ledges/ hiding places. Helen made sure she took time to find out Mabels routine and eating habits. She sent me regular updates throughout week and I came back to a very happy cat who clearly loved Helen purring away! No issues when she came back home either .she is already booked in for next holiday. 5/5!

The most stressful part of our holiday was finding someone to look after our timid Elsie, but as soon as we went to see Helen I knew I could relax. After worrying about where we were going to leave our 4 month old kitten Misty whilst we got married and went away for a few days, we came across the Cats other Mother. From the moment we met Helen and her mum we knew this was the right place for her. They were so friendly and showed us round - we met other cats who were staying and looked happy. Misty had her own room with a big window, chair, tv rug and lots of toys and places to climb and sleep. We received regular up dates and on our wedding day we even got pictures of Misty having a wedding breakfast with chalk signs saying Misty's wedding breakfast and wishing us luck on our special day and a tower of food and treats for her. When we got back she was so relaxed and playful you could tell she had been well looked after. A massive thank you to the Cats other mother for looking after our gorgeous kitten. I always worry when I have to leave my furbabies behind to go on holiday. The thought of a cattery scared me and I just didn’t feel I could leave them anywhere until I found Helen. The cats other mother is by far the best. She’s amazing and the rooms are outstanding. My babies were cared for so well and I didn’t have to worry. I got a few updates during their stay and the photos were lovely. Any other cattery just doesn’t compare to this place. Booked in a few more times this year and it will definitely be the place I go. We were absolutely delighted with this beautiful cat hotel. Our cat stayed there for 6 nights and from the moment we arrived Helen was so welcoming and you could tell there was no expense spared! This was the first time our cat stayed away from us she was made right at home with her own room, toys and beds. We received daily updates, with photos and was great to see her content. We are on the waiting list for the next visit!

We booked our cat in for two weeks - the first time she has stayed away from home. Everything was excellent. On meeting Helen we felt we could not have found anywhere better. Helen put our mind at ease and the facilities are wonderful. On collecting Spicey it was obvious she had settled very well and she had been happy and very well looked after during her stay, thank you Helen. Helen was amazing and you can tell once you meet her how much she cares about animals and the cats in her care. We booked our cat Tabitha to stay with Helen for a few days whilst we went on holiday and was anxious at first as this was our furr baby's first trip away from home and due to covid and being a house cat she does not really have experience of many other people so we were not sure how she would react. She was nervy but was settling in nicely and Helen did everything she could to make Tabi feel and home and look after her. We were given constant updates which out our mind at rest and even when we returned home Helen reached out to see how she was settling back in. As for the accommodation, wow, it was better than the place we were staying. Thank you Helen and see you soon!

Indy has just returned from an excellent stay at the hotel, his first time away on his own without his brother and he has absolutely loved it. He needed a short break whilst work was being done on the house and we are so pleased that we found The Cats Other Mother. A wonderful location, lots to keep the cat occupied and top class facilities. Helen was fantastic and Indy really took to her, we were kept updated with photos of him relaxing in his luxury room and will not hesitate to book him in for another longer stay when we can get away ourselves.

It was our first time leaving Frank so we were a little nervous, but Helen completely put our minds at ease. The rooms are beautiful and full of stimulation to keep the cats entertained including a television, toys and climbing equipment. Helen really took time to get to know Frank and gave him plenty of attention and cuddles. She also sent us regular updates on how he was getting on which we absolutely loved. It’s clear Helen has a genuine love for all cats and to top it off is very knowledgeable on cat behaviour and traits which is great. When we came to pick Frank up after his weeks stay he was very happy and content and clearly had a wonderful time. I highly recommend the Cat Hotel and have already booked Frank back in for his next holiday.

I cannot thank Helen enough for looking after my two boys at her beautiful hotel this week. They are older, indoor cats who need lots of fuss and attention. I knew from the moment I spoke to Helen on the phone that they were in good and safe hands, and were going to get the love and fuss they needed whilst we were away. The farm that the hotel is situated on is beautiful, with lovely views from each room. The rooms themselves are spacious and the attention to detail is amazing. Our boys were so brave and very quickly developed a connection with Helen and felt at ease, asking her for lots of strokes and love. Helen sent regular updates and photos which we adored. They are looking forward to their next visit in June. If you are like me and don’t like leaving your cats whilst you’re away, I cannot recommend The Cats Other Mother, enough. Thank you Helen 😻

Left my kitten here with Helen whilst I was away with work. It was the first time she had been alone overnight and I was nervous about leaving her, but I needn’t have worried! Helen was fantastic and kept me updated on how she was settling in, with regular messages and photos. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with plenty of space and lovely thoughtful touches. Underfloor heating meant the room was nice and cosy too. Very much a home away from home feel to the whole place. Helen took the time to get to know my kitten and her personality and filled me in on what they had been up to when I came to collect her. It’s clear Helen really cares about cats, as evidenced by the gaggle of her own cats following her across the yard as I drove away! Thanks Helen for a great stay!

Before I go into my long winded story I'll tell you the conclusion, we absolutely loved the way Helen and her team looked after and cared for our cat China during his stay at the 'The Cats Other Mother Boutique Hotel' the accommodation was beautiful as each cat gets there own luxury room with lots of cat activities and cosy window ledges and there own Tv, Helen thoughtfully worked to meet all China's needs and any requirements we had from the start. Helen and her team with there fitting Boutique Hotel name, in our opinion are your 'Cats' Other Mother' that you possibly haven't met yet, in that they will take the best care of your Cat in their Boutique Hotel. Myself and my partner were looking for the best place possible for our cat China aka our 'little boy 😻' to stay. The previous year China had stayed somewhere else and as a result came back to us poorly and dehydrated as we don't think he settled in at the previous cattery, so we were nervous of putting him in another cattery. I saw a very good article some months ago about 'The Cats Other Mother Boutique Hotel' and I thought it sounded like the accommodation for each cat was brilliant with there own rooms and Tv's and it sounded like the staff were very attentive. So I contacted Helen the owner, and arranged a viewing, Helen was very helpful and we could see straight away that she put the cats welfare and wellbeing first whilst still being very friendly and helpful and answering all our questions and addressing any nervous worries we had. Throughout China's stay Helen sent us updates of how he was doing and pictures and videos, we could see he was feeling relaxed and bonding with staff who visit and spend time with each cat personally 4 times a day atleast. We thought China might not want to come home lol as he looked so very happy and entertained. Now he's back with us we have already booked him in for his next stay next year in 2023 when we're away getting Married so its a big thumbs and paws up from us and China👍. If you’re like me and anxious about leaving your fur baby whilst you go away, this hotel is for you. Helen was AMAZING! She gave my little boy Tippy so much love and care. She updated me all the time, putting my nerves to rest and I could enjoy my trip away. My cat is very shy and nervous and he hid in his new room for a while. Helen’s calm and caring approach brought my cat out of his shell and when I went to pick him up he was playing with her and getting lots of strokes. Took fantastic care of our cat Fred - I think he was actually sad to leave when we picked him up! Helen was excellent, provided regular updates, and genuinely took the time to get to know our cat and how to keep him happy! The actual facility is brilliant - great spaces for cats, clean, warm, and well maintained. You can tell Helen truly cares about the comfort and wellbeing of the animals. It's great to find a place where we can leave the cat without worrying about him or feeling guilty for leaving him behind. Fred will definitely be staying again!

What a fabulous place! My cat Angelina had a superb time at Helen's boutique cat hotel. Each room is luxurious with every effort paid to the finest detail! Only the finest for our feline fur babies! She wasn't even bothered about us when we turned up to collect her! Haah. Helen is lovely, very passionate about cats. We knew straight away she would be in good hands! What an amazing place to put your cats. Our two Bengals have clearly been very happy here. The set up is very good and also comical in the attention to detail for it being a genuine hotel for cats. You arrive to hotel parking, proper hotel reception and the owner acting as a concierge to settle the guests into the room. The rooms are spacious and homely - no better than homely, they are hotel like. Our cats have enjoyed the fantastic attention, stimulating toys, Bird TV, great menus and comfortable quarters. We have already booked them in for their next stay and feel so much happier leaving them here. Considering the level of opulence and attention, the prices are very reasonable, particularly for 2 cats sharing. 5 Stars.

This is the most welcoming cat hotel in the area and everything is very cosy, resembling a welcoming, warm and almost natural environment for your cat but in a luxurious boutique. You can tell this place has been developed with the cats best interest at heart, Helen and Jan are fantastic. Extremely attentive to detail, very welcoming, very cozy and I could tell my Caspurr enjoyed his stay. He has been in places before however this time he was the happiest I have seen him. Woody our beloved 15 year old Burmese cat had just spent ten days as a vip guest at the ‘Cats Other Mother’ cattery. We were unsure about putting him in a cattery due to his age and having just lost his brother. We needn’t have worried - he had the time of his life. He was relaxed and happy had made friends with Helen the owner and genuinely seemed pleased to see her. Got the distinct impression he didn’t want to come home. We received several messages and pictures whilst we were on holiday which was very reassuring and which clearly made us appreciate how well he was being looked after and how happy he was. I was wowed by The Cat Other Mother the moment I walked in the door. The team are absolute super stars who truly care about their feline guests; nothing is too much trouble and they are extremely welcoming. Every room is packed with toys, climbing apparatus, cosy beds, a big window and lots of treats.. not to mention arm chairs, cushions and even a TV! You absolutely know that your cat is getting lots of love and attention whilst you are away and that they will be looking forward to their next visit :) I highly recommend them and have nothing but wonderful things to say.

My two new additions spent just over two weeks at the Cats Other Mother’ cattery. The boys settled in so well! They were very relaxed and happy and didn’t look too Bothered when I had to leave them! Helen kept me updated throughout the two weeks with pictures and I could see how settled the boys really were in there home from home! They posed a lot so seemed to enjoy having regular photoshoots! The boys loved spending time With Helen and Jan, so much so they are booked in again for another stay in February.The boys were treated like kings and I’m not sure if they wanted to come home when I went to collect them! This was the first time of putting my cat Tilly into a cattery and I was initially very anxious about how she would settle. However, the love and care that your pet receives along with the attention to detail is so evident from the moment you arrive. Helen welcomed us and showed us to Tilly’s room. It was spacious and immaculately clean and was filled with home comforts such as an arm chair, a TV, a water fountain, toys, fluffy mats and a tent. There are scratching posts and climbing platforms in the room so perfect for active cats to get their exercise in. Each room has a large window and a ledge which they can look out from. Helen encouraged us to stay with Tilly for a little while to settle her and we were not rushed. There was also a Feliway plugged in the room. Throughout the duration of my cat’s stay (13 nights), I received lovely updates and photos to show that she was settled. It was clear that Tilly was given lots of love and attention each day and that they knew her personality! It really reassured me that she was well looked after. When she came home, there was no change to her personality. She seemed really relaxed and calm- almost sulking that we’d brought her home! I would not hesitate to book another stay here for her when we go away again.

Coco has had 2 stays wit Helen now - a short 4 day in November 21 and a 9 day stay in March 22. I was really anxious about leaving her as she is a rescue cat we got a few months before lockdown and she’s never been away from us before. The facilities and both rooms were fantastic - very spacious, loads of places to hide, snuggle and play and lovely window views. Helen was wonderful - she made her a little den, which Coco loved and had her rolling over, purring and playing in no time. Coco also remembered Helen instantly after her first stay, when she went back a 2nd time. She was so chilled when we came to collect her and settled back at home straight away. I’m so grateful to Helen for loving her while we were away. The best cat hotel and Coco is already booked in for many more stays

We were quite nervous about leaving Ernie as it would be the most days we have been away from him and at the last cattery he stayed at he did not settle! But as soon as we arrived at The Cats Other Mother, we were all made to feel so welcome. The Hotel is so warm and friendly and you can feel the love pouring out of every aspect of it! We were shown to Ernie’s room and he settled in straight away! He loved his window and his platforms to sit on! There was everything and more in the room to make him feel at ease and happy! He didn’t even want to come home at the end haha! Helen was amazing! She could not do enough! Her knowledge about Cats was just so reassuring to know Ernie was going to be so well looked after. The updates throughout the stay were settling for us to know he was happy and loving his time there! Throughout the whole process Helen has been great, even before Ernie arrived, she called and spoke through everything and made me feel comfortable before dropping Ernie off! I can’t forget Helen’s lovely mum, who i know was very involved making Ernie’s stay the best it could be! I really could not recommend The Cats Other Mother enough to anyone with a feline friend. It really is a safe and loving environment that you feel safe leaving your fur baby! 5 stars isn’t enough!
