Don't have a bad word to say about this vet. Super kind and understanding, and always do there best for the animal. Been taking all my family pets there for a very long time and never had any issues, wouldn't think about taking them anywhere else.

We're allowed back in the waiting area now - woo! They still ask that you wear a mask which is perfectly acceptable and they have disposable masks available if you don't have your own.

Receptionists are always very friendly and helpful. Easy to get an appointment and they understand when your cat does a runner as soon as she sees the carrier and its 10mins before your appointment 😂

I love the staff! They're very helpful. It gives you the impression that they are not there to make money. They are very reasonable and only charge you for what is necessary. Dexter has got a great knowledge and good approach to animals. I never looked back.

Sad that the majority of the few reviews are not positive. I have used this vets for some time with rabbit and dog and have always found them to be supportive, helpful and positive. Dexter 'says it like it is' and explains options and outcome clearly. Staff always welcoming even to a dog who is less than keen or sociable with the resident cat!

The best Veterinary practice around. I have been taking my pets to Dexter Smith for over 30 years. Last year he saved my dog and sent her for an emergency procedure to place a pacemaker, you couldn't ask for or get better care.

Been using Midsummer for a few years now. I absolutely love Dexter and the team of nurses who are quite simply amazing. Dexter is a great vet and always does his best to get to the bottom of any health issues that my animals may have. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Been bringing my animals to Dexter for over 30 years ranging from pet mice to my horses and would recommend him to act in the animals best interests everytime! I now travel with my animals to this practice rather than use a local vet as Dexter knows my animals and this gives me peace of mind.
