I don't often leave reviews but must for Pet Practice because they are a 5 star vets! I have only had my baby Pomeranian a short time and she had some tummy problems for a couple of weeks. They have been so amazing at seeing her on the day for me numerous times when I've been really worried & anxious. I know she is in the best hands & the staff are all lovely to communicate with too. I researched before choosing my Vet and I am so happy I chose Pet Practice as they are the best vets in MK (numerous family members go to other vets and don't get the service I do). Thank you!

We have moved from our previous vets to Pets Practice with our 3 cats. We were quoted from our previous vet an extortionate amount to treat a dental problem on one of our cats so I emailed all local vets for quotes. (Interestingly from the varying prices in quotes from other vets I would recommend doing the same). Pets Practice gave the best quote, which to be fair was a special offer. but they treated all 3 of my cats for dental care for less than half the price i was quoted for one cat by an MK vet chain. The after care was amazing and was inclusive in the price so no hidden charges or being charged every time you see a vet. You can see the staff have a genuine love for animals and focus all their attention on your pet whilst also providing us Humans with great service and answer any concerns we may have. I would highly recommend Pets Practice and very happy I discovered them. Not only do they really care for your pet but they provide a complete service without being overcharged.(Note: our previous vet surgery would charge if you so much as looked at a vet. I haven't found that to be an issue with Pets Practice)

We had a good first experience at this practice with our dog a short while ago and it appears that the tablets prescribed has had the desired effect. Afterwards, I had a question about the medication and the vet phoned back shortly after and answered my questions. We would not hesitate to return if necessary. However, when we were there there were two large dogs that were sitting on the nice suede seats designed for humans. Not the practice fault but it didn't feel very hygienic.

I initially chose this practice as they were considerably cheaper than all competitors when my two fur babies needed surgery. I left my vet of ten years following the perfect experiences I have had with this new veterinary practice. What a lovely, friendly and professional practice this is. As a wheelchair user, I was very happy to be able to park a few feet from the door. The consulting room was a good size whilst maintaining that personal touch that I find important. Ben the vet and his staff explained everything to me so that I could understand whilst not feeling stupid. This is the first time my dogs have actually pulled me into the vets! I totally recommend this practice for all your pets needs, I'm so pleased to have found them.

We've seen these vets on 2 occasions for 2 different hamsters. The staff were really friendly and supportive and saw us last minute when we got home from work to find our hamster in a poorly state. They even stayed beyond closing time to assist us without making us feel unwelcome or rushed. Pleased to say our little hamster has now made a full recovery thanks to their treatment and we would recommend their services :)

We took our cat in for an initial consultation, met with a friendly receptionist who spoke to us and reassured us that our cat was settled. Had always found them to be very friendly & helpful until it came to the service we received the day after our beloved dog was put to sleep. Would not use them again. Emailed the director and spoke to him but once someone treats you bad its hard to take it back.

Pet Practice have been amazing in helping us get our pet rat Link sorted out as he's not been well. After being quoted ridiculous prices from a larger chain, they booked us in at very short notice, had Link diagnosed and booked in for surgery two days later. My biggest worry was money as it can be expensive to go to any vets, however they have been very transparent with all costs and it is certainly very affordable and fair. They are kind, caring and compassionate. Everything you'd want from a Vets. They made us feel very comfortable and cared for, and most importantly I didn't feel stupid asking any questions. They even went out of their way to book us a longer slot just in case we needed it. Big thank you to Vanessa and Louise for being so kind to us both.

Had to take my rat to the vet, discovered she had a lump on her side that was growing rapidly so needed a quick appointment. The vet was really nice and friendly, really took her time to check out the problem and talk me through what was going on. There was no feeling of being hurried, or being treated like you're just another customer to run through the system, they really care about what they're doing. My little rattie needed surgery to remove the lump and they did an a great job, really pleased with how they looked after her. Would definitely go back, 100% going there again if my other animals need anything :)

I took my Syrian Hamster in as he had a very swollen belly. They were very kind and helpful and treated him with great care. My hamster is old and won't live much longer but thanks to the lovely vet who treated him, his quality of life has been greatly improved. I strongly recommend them.

Like most other pet owners I was very wary of moving to a new vet practice but thank goodness I made the move to Pet Practice at the end of 2018! The move came about when I felt my previous vets (another local practice which I can't name here) began to insist on 3 monthly check up visits before prescribing repeat meds for Clomicalm to help keep my Siamese cat Yum Yum on an even keel. As Siamese are a breed that are naturally stressy anyway I felt the 3 monthly visits were unnecessary especially as they already saw her for her annual boosters and the teeth check ups. Each check up at the other vets was the equivalent of 33% of the cost for the meds so you can see how the bills started to mount up! Pet Practice agreed that it was unnecessary to have 4 visits a year. The check ups could be reduced as bringing in Yum Yum to the vets was only causing her stress - the very problem we were trying to alleviate. Not only that, Pet Practice gave me access to the drugs at a lower cost which has really helped the ongoing medical bills! I have to admit I felt somewhat fleeced by the other vet practice that I had been going to for years and I have now registered my other 3 pets with Pet Practice. Thank you Pet Practice for being honest and caring and putting the welfare of the pet ahead of the money you could easily have made out of us. I have recommended you to all my friends with pets xx

Just returned from my dog Tinks health check and to collect her flea and worming tablets. Showed me how to apply flea fluid correctly with no extra charge. I signed up to there monthly plan for flea, worm and vaccinations and I get a cheeky text reminder so I don’t forget! I've taken my cats to other vetinary groups in the local area who have been very expensive and never left me feeling that I have received great service or value for money. Having been badly let down by the incompetence of Aston Lee vetinary group, I opted to try Pet Practise based on their high scoring reviews. After visiting it was clear to see why they are so highly rated, they are flexible, accomodating, provide a geat service and are at least half the price of any where else. They blow the socks off the others and demonstrate that you dont need to charge exorbitant prices to run a successful vetinary practise, i'll never go any where else now ive found Pet Practise!

I recently took my 11 year old German shepherd to pet practice in Milton Keynes. After speaking to the vet Ben in the morning he made an appointment later on that day. Unfortunately my dog was seriously ill and Ben was very honest and truthful throughout. Sadly we decided to put her to sleep and out of pain, Ben was fully booked but still managed to make sure that he carried out the treatment later that evening. Ben and his nurse treated us with such kindness and kept us fully informed us with all that was going to happen. They treated our dog with such care and dignity until the end. I can't fault this surgery on its customer service and treatment of animals. I've visited a few times for booster's / tooth extraction for female cat and a spade for a female cat. The vets are so helpful with lots of useful information FREE OF CHARGE - not trying to up sell constantly at you and then being passive aggressive if you question 'How much?!' - I love my pets, but cost for products for nervous / anxious cats are a fortune and unlikely to be successful - This is the only VET I've visited that actually offered me advice on treatments they don't sell and I can buy on line at a reasonable price. I had approx 25 minutes of chatting back and forth on different solutions to help my nervous cat - Brilliant! I would definitely recommend - Friendly, helpful and cost effective for treatments that have been all stress free for me and the cats! ;-)
