The only vet locally who could see us as a new patient quickly. Great service... not cheap but transparent costing and helped a very anxious dog manage the consultation and treatment well. Would reccomend

Very efficient and caring.My cat was thoroughly examined and diagnosed and with medication quickly recovered Trouble with his teeth,a whole day at the vet.By no means cheap!But I'm certain he was well cared for and now home and taking it easy.

I had a minor emergency with my dog, and Blythman & Partners were so easy to work with! My dog wasn't registered with their surgery, but this caused no issues. I was able to book a same day appointment, and the veterinary team stayed late to help me. I am very appreciative of their kindness, patience and excellent interactions with clients. The vet in particular (unfortunately I did not get her name) was fantastic, so calm and supportive and incredibly informative. Overall I am so grateful to B&P for helping me and my dog, and would not hesitate to recommend their services to other pet owners in Newcastle.

My cat wasn't registered with this practice but after my cats health deteriorated rapidly late at night i called this practice and they could not have been more helpful and a vet was called into the practice. All the staff that were there were so lovely and kind and even tho i had to have my poor cat star put to sleep she was treated with so much love by the vet. I could not be more thankful to them all xx

Excellent vets. Really friendly and informative.Recently removed a lump from my cat and checked up on him a couple of days later to make sure everything was OK with him. They are always available 24 hours a day if you need them.

They took amazing care of our dog Lola, the staff are all lovely and friendly and make a huge fuss of her which she loves, making the whole experience more pleasant than traumatic for her. She loves all the staff there and I'm sure she'd give them five stars if she had fingers and could type 😁

Our local vets who always look after our Rhodesian Ridgeback when we have to visit. They recently diagnosed a more serious ailment and referred us to a specialist who helped our puppy get the right treatment fast. The treatment, care and professionalism we received throughout was top notch. Would recommend 100%

Absolutely brilliant vets. We changed to Blythman and Partners in a hurry and a panic when I noticed my cat was showing signs of a UTI and my previous surgery told us they couldn’t fit us in that day. Thank goodness we did. Blythman’s saw us within the hour of calling and were helpful and reassuring - when later that night the worst happened and my cat’s bladder blocked (a fatal condition if not treated immediately) we were able to go back to the same surgery and even see the same vet. I find it hugely reassuring to know that I can contact vets we know and trust day or night and be treated by people who really care. They were amazing in putting my boy back together and hugely compassionate to me as I was falling apart! I can not recommend them highly enough.

Had to take my dog Maggi to see vet on Sunday 4/8/201. Very apprehensive as not my usual vet. Blythman & Partners were the on call vet following call to my usual vet. I need not have worried the care she got and the kindness shown to me was second to none. I needed to call the vets later in the day as i had some concerns again the advice I was given helped. Difficult to judge. You're not allowed in even though no one else is in the reception and it's around 3m square. You have to call them on the phone or ring the bell and someone comes out with gloves and mask to see you. You cant go in with your dog either. Its unfriendly and scary for a frightened dog ( mine is neither). I know we are in a pandemic but it feels intimidating. The jury is out on this one.

Great Vets. My German Shepherd had been poisoned , they rushed my dog from wallsend to their hospital , give him the best care and after 4 days they had him on mend. Cant thank them enough, my dog would have died without their skill, care and dedication.

Please do not use the stars as a reflection of the service received, as I have only be here once and haven't been to other vets in the area, and can't give an objective rating. I found a injured pigeon in the middle of the road. My friend got through to the vet straight away on a Sunday evening. They advised it would be looked into and assessed. We brought it to the surgery in Gosforth and rang the bell. The nurse opened the door, fetched a towel and checked the bird over. The pigeon had a infected leg and injured wing. The nurse advised the vet would check it over, but explained it would be likely euthanised. The nurse was informative and advised the bird sanctuary, in Blyth, would take the pigeon here and the vet would still decide on the outcome of the bird. The nurse advised it would kept in a kennel and would be provided food, awaiting assessment. I called in the morning, and was advised by a different member of staff, the bird was euthanised. They did know if the bird was was given any antibiotics or food before being put to sleep. Although, I am disappointed the bird may not have been given a fighting chance, I trust the vet would have considered this when make their decision and the hopefully life was extinguished humanely. I hope this will gives information to anyone who finds injured animals and birds.

As a 24hr vet it was only place I could take my cat to at 10.30p.m. staff were really friendly and very good with my pet cat unfourtantly I can't say the same about reception staff when I returned the following morning to pick him up. Very expensive but the only choice I had at that time of night.

Absolutely lovely people vet nurse and receptionist even westerhope branch I lost my beautiful bonnie on 21st October I'm still devastated they kept open until after 7 at night told me stay with her as long as u want they went above and beyond no other vets would done that they shut at 6pm definitely recommended amazing thank u all so much x

Not the best with bunnies. Hit or miss if you get get a really caring vet. 3 weeks of in and out and still a very poorly bunny who has a will to live but they've given up ! Think twice people!

I had to take my beautiful girl here as it was an emergency the vet we seen who was called john was so understanding and caring as he explained that due to her age 15 years she wouldn't last more that a few days so we made the hard decision to have her put to sleep he was so kind and gentle with her telling her so going to be ok
