They were very good taking very good of my Sam when he was sick unfortunately he was blind in both eyes and very incontinent both ends he was but to sleep to save his dignity now hes at piece over the rainbow bridge

I accidentally left chocolate under the tree for a Christmas present. I have all presents like that on kitchen table out of way. I made a huge mistake. The dog ate it they saw him immediately and fixed the problem. I think they could see how stupid and guilty I felt and were so nice to me. Everyone made me feel much better. Iv never felt such a bad person and the way they treated me helped beyond believe. I’m very embarrassed by my stupidity and thank them so so so much for their kindness

Staff and vet were very helpful, but a 2 hour wait even though we had an appointment is a little harsh on confined pets. When a pet gets uncomfortable generally owners do too. The second visit went much faster and smoother without wait or fault. Dont know what I would've done without their help!

Took my daughter with her cat, after he fell out of a second floor window, 1st time we have used the service as she previously had him insured thankyou #morethan for cancelling her insurance without telling her. She had contacted them the night before and been given good advice, checked him over no breaks reassuring and provided some painkillers. My daughter says they were very nice. Only use them if you are genuinely can't afford vet treatment please.

I took my cat Jock to the PDSA as he had dramatically lost weight. Sadly he was very ill and had to be put to sleep. He was a very much loved family member. The vets at the PDSA were fabulous. They let us stay with him for about 20 minutes before he passed. They sent us a lovely card with a paw print and a cutting of his fur. They told us about having him cremated and we arranged for that, and for him to be returned to us. He is due to arrive very soon. Everyone who dealt with us were absolutely caring and so kind. 😪💔🐈

You can tell the Vets here are very caring and keen enough to help your pet. But the cost is ridiculous! £20 just for a phone call with an added cost of £28 just to take your pet in to be examined then more added costs for medication if needed.

I commend the staff for there speed in dealing with my injured cat, given the restrictions of the coronavirus. After being given an x-ray, sedation to diagnose the injury and a few courses of antibiotics, I was surprised how little a donation they asked as a minimum so I obliged with a deservedly handsome donation. A definite thumbs up for this pdsa.

Encountered one receptionist who wasn't very pleasant but another who was lovely & explained how PDSA works & how they could help me. One foreign vet who although pleasant was a wee bit starchy. Second vet, a local was the best. Put some puppy treats on the table to distract my boy for his second injection & it worked a dream. They do a very good job.

Have to keep ringing over and over to get an answer to make an appointment. But overall the staff are lovely and the care for pets is beyond great. Should have a queue for all calls so we don't miss out on a available call space.

The staff here were very good with our dog. For those on low income they do special prices on treatments such as operations, check ups and vaccinations as well as neutering and microchipping. You need to prove your benefit income to get the special price and all animals need to be registered every 12 months. Donations of extra money, blankets and food are most welcome as this organisation does not get any extra help from the government. They are purely run on charity and all funding they raise goes back into the organisation to provide treatment and care for the animals

Fantastic. They really care for your pets. I took my elderly cat there and although he had to be put to sleep everyone there was excellent. The vet explained everything and I was able to stay with him.

Our poor wee cat had a lump appear just under her right eye, she could hardly open it. It was a Saturday morning and our local PDSA was shut. We were offered an emergency appointment at PDSA Gateshead, we then took her there thankful for the last minute call and appointment. We got there and were greeted with a very friendly smiling receptionist, who took our cats and our details and said the vet would be with us in a minute. Once in to see the vet she put as and our cat at ease, she then informed us that Deisel had an ulcer in her right eye. She then put eye drops in to get rid of the ulcer, she also gave an injection to help with the pain. She said she was giving us the eye drop medication and we had to put a drop in her eye morning and night. We waited and got the eye drops, you don't have to pay for this but if you can afford anything towards the cost then you do so. We gave them £30 towards the cost of treatment which was £73, if we could have given more we would have but unfortunately didn't have the funds to give anymore. We're ever so grateful for the way we and diesel were treated at very short notice. Can't praise the work these people do in helping people's pets who are sick or injured. So a huge big thank you to the PDSA..

I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs. They are very friendly, polite and respectful. I know my dogs are in safe hands with the PDSA. They don't get any Government funding (which I do not agree with) so any contribution will always help.

Good service for those who cannot afford it, although they wanted to euthanize my pet, but I stood my ground and insisted on an amputation, which they strongly were against, my pet is now 100% better and you would never know it had an amputation, a very happy pet! but felt pressurised to "donate" at a time when I couldn't afford to put petrol in my car sadly. Which made me feel awful at a very distressing time. I shop regularly at pdsa charity shops so I felt that the pressure to pay was unnecessary and also there is an option to donate at a later date. Reception staff very unfriendly.

My old fella sam who is a rescue yrs ago and into our 13th yr now fingers crossed for more to come.... all staff have been amazing always smiling even allowing medicines to be collected to keep my boy happy. Can't thank them enough. Was able to get an appointment within the same morning for my poorly rat that was having trouble breathing, and they diagnosed and treated him within an hour of me being there. The staff were professional and friendly, as were the people in the waiting room, and someone that I met there even ended up handling my rat for almost the entire time I was there! I dread to think what would happen to so many animals if it was for the dedication and kindness of the PDSA and all of the people that work there. Thank you.
