The staff are always friendly, and you never have a long wait. They dealt with our issues thoroughly, and, in the past, they have helped with our insurance claims so that we got our money back promptly. Very recommended!

I rang at 9.15 with issue it was after 4pm before I got a call saying what they thought the issue was. In my opinion it took a long time to get back to me about my dogs issue, I had to ring back several times to make sure they had received photos of my dogs issue, eventually I got a text saying they had revieved them, I then waited most of the day for a call back. The vetenary nurse had to speak to the vet, I realise it's Covid19 and they are busy but when your fur baby isn't well it's stressful. I feel more communication is needed, even a quick text to advise what time the call back would be would be good, just so I had some idea. I found when I did ring it went to voicemail several times, saying unable to take the call and gave opening hours, no way of leaving a message. Eventually got sorted, fingers crossed that the cream works as unable to get to vets at present.

Brilliant practice with knowledgeable staff and people who really care. The practice is easy to get to and it's possible to park right in front of the practice if you have flighty pets Our only suggestion is opening up the reception 5-10mins before the first appointment of the day particularly on the cold winter days. Thanks for the great service

This is a lovely small vet practise with a family feel where you see the same small group of people each time you visit. However it also has the benefit of being part of a larger group of practises which offer hospital facilities.

I would like to thank all staff at whickham for the caring, genuine and warm treatment given in pretty terrible circumstances. We felt as if we had the best advice and support and recieved a thoughtful sympathy card signed by everyone involved, which was unexpected and well received. Wonderful practice and it means so much in these difficult times.

Excellent service explain everything to you. Very understanding when pets are ill and dying. Good pet plan arrangement. Opening hours are very good to accommodate your needs .
