To top it all I got a wonderful rescue cat who is an irreplaceable member of the family

H. M.Best cat shelter in the north east. The staff were very helpful when we called up asking about 2 kittens, however the ones we wanted were being looked after in a foster home in hexham which we could get to and after weeks of phone calls some else got the cats. However they told us that same phone call there was 2 other lovely kittens, we were told about them on Tuesday, went to go see them on Wednesday and brought them home Thursday, it was such fast service and they are very well looked after in their foster homes ready to be rehomed permanently. We love are 2 little kittens and now that its Saturday they are all happily settled in running backwards and forwards playing with each other compare to first bring them home when they hid under the sofa took a couple hours for the first one to come out but took the other about a full day, but they are now happy.
L. S.What can I say apart from that they do amazing work saving cats and finding them loving homes! Fostered two gorgeous cats for them once and they provided everything we needed. Love going here when I'm a bit stressed just to see the cats.

I have been rehoming cats from them for several years now .
They are a Non Government charity that
Can use plenty of donations including food and cat litter and other useful stuff for their residents of the feline kind .
They Never refused any cat whatsoever .

J. E.Got a kitten from the Ark a year ago. They are a fab cat re-homing centre. I have visited several times since getting my cat to buy raffle tickets etc.... they always have lots of cats and kittens needing good homes.

C.If you love cats, you will love this place, it is a shelter for homeless cats that have been lost or rescued, if you are looking for a cat, then I would urge you to get one from here, they are well looked after by volunteers, they are treated by a local vet if they are injured, ill or need spayed or neutered, they rely totally on donations from the public for food, treats, litter, litter trays, cat carriers & scratching posts etc. If you have some spare time you can also go along for some cat cuddling, which helps enormously for shy cats or ones that have not had a pleasant experience with humans.
