Nikki is truly a cat whisperer.... she loves and understands cats and works tirelessly to help sick, neglected, abandoned, abused, or lost cats. 24/7. Always the needs of the cat are paramount, and that’s always been uppermost in Nikki’s thinking when she matches cats and would be adopters. Sadly sometimes people take this personally, but Nikki really knows her stuff, and instinctively knows the best sort of home to suit a cats nature and circumstances. I don’t know how she does it... if I had to deal with some of the awful things she sees, I’d be no good to anyone. I think she’s a remarkable lady. I currently have one cat I adopted from Feline Welfare years ago, and I have another older cat from FW who is an permanent foster with a skin condition, so is invariably on medication. Nikki is always there with helpful advice if I need it. I wish there were more like her!

I cannot recommend Nikki at Feline Welfare enough. This lady is a tireless, champion ambassador for cats - nothing else matters. She has helped hundreds of cats regain health, learn to love and trust humans again, no medical emergency is ever too much and she will do everything in her power to save lives, and is meticulous is making sure every cat goes to the right home. I see a few complaints here about her - one is totally absurd and fabricated, the others are just griping because they didn't meet the required criteria .... each cats need is carefully tailored in the cats best interests.... just as it should be. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Feline Welfare to anyone. It does what it says on the tin, and then some.

I have experienced her dedication at first hand and over several years - day in, day out - and let's not forget all the nights! She has years of experience and works tirelessly to help cats and kittens in need - any need - and they come first. Nikki's rehoming process is second-to-none and she cares a great deal that both cat and owner are happy and well matched in every respect. A forever, happy home is her goal and this will always be. Since October 2013 I have had the need to make use of Feline Welfare’s services twice. The first in October 2013... when they very kindly supported me when I took a stray cat in. They offered me help with any vet costs and were there to support me when we sadly lost him just four months later. He left a special place in our hearts and I will be forever grateful for the help I received from Feline Welfare. And secondly in January 2016 when I needed their help to trap one of my cats that had missing for 2.5 weeks. After showing me how to use the trap and without hesitation they kindly lent me one of their traps so that I could get my dear little kitten home. Once caught and home they offered me help and advice on how to get her to readjust to being home and how to look after in the immediately following days. I would have struggled without their help and support. I have not hesitation in recommending Feline Welfare and support them whenever I am able to do so.

Feline welfare are so caring, the place the pet making sure they are a good match, and the human is adopting for the right reasons, we were lucky to be paw picked by the most amazing cat, we went to a Foster home to make sure we were not allergic to long hair, something that hadn't occurred to me, we adopted a very scared cat no trust in humans who with love and patience turned out to be the most lovely, playfull dearest pet I've ever had thanks to Nicky and the Foster team, I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work, professionalism and support through the adoption process.

This is a fantastic small rescue centre that works tirelessly to take care of and rehome cats and kittens on the isle of Wight. I have had 14 of their cats over the years. Those persons complaining about not getting a cat from them have not met their strict criteria for rehoming. I happen to know that 100% of donations goes towards the care of cats and kittens in their care, not many charities can say that!
